Chapter 60
Escabitha sat on her thrown and bowing before her were the Day Walkers and over 200 000 vampires. All of them were vampires of pure breeds that possessed their clan abilities. Escabitha rose from her throne and raised her hands to the crowd.
"Rise up my children. The time we have been waiting for finally arrived hours ago. As we speak, your brothers and sisters are causing so much chaos in the world. Everything they are doing is upsetting the balance of energy and we all know what this means." Escabitha laughed and the vampires chanted her name.
"Great One! Great One! Great One! Great One!"
"As you know, the turned vampires have been given weapons laced with natrifin. I'm sure the darkas gods are already feeling the impact of the deadly weapons!" Escabitha paused and listened to the chants will a devious grin.
"You all have been given something a little better." She continued after they quietened down.
The vampires took a look at the little bottles in each their hands. One bottle had a glowing green fluid in it while the other has a purple fluid that produced no light. Escabitha looked over to Dr Spencer and gestured for him to go closer.
"Dr Spencer, address your brothers and sisters." Escabitha ordered him.
"Thank you, Great One." Dr Spencer said with a bow. He faced the crowd and cleared his throat. "The bottle with the green fluid is natrifin. I discovered that consuming it will enhance your special abilities. It will also make it possible for you to kill a darkas god. However, it can only last for ten minutes in you without killing you so that's where the purple fluid comes in. It contains Saliminoc, better known as the antidote to natrifin." Dr Spencer explained.
"Great One! Great One! Great One!"
"Go now my children. Bring them all to your feet!"
As soon as Escabitha was done speaking, the vampires ran amok and scattered in different directions. Each was following their Day Walker leaders. Sheila saw her clan of screamers. She winked at Monique and they both walked off the stage to join them.
"Wait a minute, Sheila." Escabitha ordered and both Sheila and Monique halted. "I understood that you failed to complete your mission because you were outnumbered. I have given you more than enough back up so should you fail to bring Britney's head to me, be sure to commit suicide. I don't want to have to lay my hands on you." Escabitha's cold tone sent chills down Sheila's spine.
"I will not let you down." Sheila fearfully bowed.
"Get out of my sight." Escabitha waved her hand at Sheila and she promptly left with Monique right behind her.
I will earn back your respect Great One. Britney will die today. I'll make sure of it. When I'm done with her, that silver haired bitch will be next. Sheila plotted with determination.
She boarded a helicopter with Monique and three other vampires. The other screamers boarded forty other helicopters and they took off into the sky.

Britney sat on the bed silently breastfeeding her baby. She heard the screams of the humans from miles away due to her sensitive hearing. She didn't feel herself frowning as she thought about the kind of horror the humans were going through. Britney glanced over at Maradina who was frowning at the doorway. She assumed that Maradina was able to hear the screams too.
Britney flashed a faint smile to Maradina. "Please, do come in." She offered.
Maradina slowly got into the room. She saw Britney gesture towards the bed and she reluctantly sat down. Maradina, however, forgot all her uneasiness when she caught the adorable sight of Alex Jr holding his mother's finger as he sucked.
"This war is pretty serious huh?" Britney asked Maradina.
Maradina slowly nodded her head. "Waxx ordered us not to get involved until we fully understand what is going on." Maradina replied and ended with a sigh. "Those poor humans."
There was a brief moment of awkward silence between the two.
"Was Akirexer able to save Steve and Rose?" Britney broke the uncomfortable silence.
"Yes she did. She is up on the roof right now. She seems to have a lot on her mind." Maradina answered with a distant look on her face.
Britney fell short of words. Even though she didn't want to admit it, she knew exactly what was on Akirexer's mind. She just hoped that Akirexer was going to make the right decision. They both deserved justice.

Akirexer... None pure of Sharaina. Umandaang spoke.
Akirexer had been on the roof for two hours. She was looking at the smoke up ahead. She had just deactivated her special seeing eyes because she couldn't bear to look at the horror anymore. She felt great pity for the humans. Every scream made her feel tempted to do something but Waxx's orders made her stay put. She wasn't the type to follow orders but she knew that Waxx was right.
Akirexer... None pure. Won't you respond to me? Umandaang asked Akirexer and she lit a cigarette.
"What is it Umandaang?" Akirexer curtly replied with a puff of smoke.
You are stressed and we both know why. Umandaang remarked
"Wow, we have only been together for three days and you already know me so well." Akirexer scoffed and took another pull of her cigarette.
How can I not? I can hear your thoughts. I also have access to all your memories. Umandaang said with a soft laugh.
"So much for privacy." Akirexer lamented.
Will you do it? Umandaang asked Akirexer.
"If it came down to it?" Akirexer asked him back.
Answer my question. Umandaang commanded.
Akirexer looked back at the smoke ahead. The distant look on her face was replaced with the look of hurt. Her gaze dropped as she thought deeply. She put her cigarette to her lips and took a pull. She let the smoke come out through her nostrils.
"Yes I will kill her if I'm left with no choice." She finally answered and heard Umandaang's deep laugh.
Akirexer was about to say something else when she heard helicopters approaching them. She quickly stood up and eye balled them with her cigarette hanging on her lips. The helicopters were at least a hundred yards away from the house. Akirexer activated her sword.
Waxx, Josh and the twins burst out of the house. Unlike the rest, Waxx wasn't surprised about the helicopters because Alex spotted them minutes before they were seen.
"Everyone prepare for battle!" Waxx yelled.
Upon hearing Waxx's words, Akirexer threw her sword and it cut through six helicopters. They exploded and hit on to others that ended up exploding as well. The remaining helicopters continued their pursuit. Some vampires parachuted out of the helicopters in fear of getting shot down.
Sheila scowled at having lost part of her group. She went over to the pilot and grabbed his collar.
"Wait for me at the place I told you to." She ordered him and glanced over to Monique who was busy fastening her parachute. "Come on, let's go."
Monique and the other four vampires jumped out of the plane. When they were close to the ground, they released their parachutes. Monique was completely shocked to see Sheila fall past them without a parachute.
"Is she out of her fucking mind?!" Monique exclaimed.
Sheila waited until she was a little closer to the ground before letting out a sonic scream. The sharp sound waves slowed down Sheila's momentum and she landed swiftly on her feet. In no time, the other vampires landed quietly around her. They wasted no time in unclipping their parachutes. As soon as they were done, they followed Sheila at an impossible speed.
Sheila made her way through the woods. She took notice of Josh and the twins fending off the vampires. Sheila took another route with Monique right behind her. She wasn't interested in brawling with Josh and the twins.
By the time Sheila and Monique got to the house, the Screamers were already fighting Waxx, Derrick, Maradina and Akirexer. Derrick was at the door shooting whichever vampire that approached the house with his shot gun of silver bullets. Waxx blew and absorbed many. Maradina shot at them from the roof whereas Akirexer slashed as many as she could.
Britney felt restless with the ongoing fight outside. She peeped through the window and was irritated to see Sheila and Monique again. She backed away from the window and picked up Alex Jnr from the bed. She bit her finger as she pondered on what to do. Alex burst into the room and by the look on his face, Britney could tell that they were stressing about the same thing.
"Where should we hide him?" Britney asked Alex. "We can't possibly make it out of here without any harm befalling our baby." Britney stressed and Alex opened the closet. "What?" Britney asked, stunned.
"Let's put him in here." He suggested to Britney's dismay. "I know that it isn't the brightest of ideas. If we fight outside the room and make sure no vampire gets in here, all will be well. When their numbers reduce, we can escape with our child. Staying here with the baby will only attract them to this room. There's more than a hundred of them outside and worse these are screamers. You know what that shit does to us."
Having no argument, Britney reluctantly hid the baby at the base of the closet. She closed the door and leaned against it. A tear escaped her eye and Alex wiped it. He lovingly held her shoulders.
"Now isn't the time to cry babe." He stated.
"Yes you are right." Britney sniffed.
****
Sheila and Monique stood facing the door. Sheila boldly looked at Derrick in the eye as he had his shot gun aiming at her. Akirexer cleared her throat from the rooftop and Sheila and Monique looked up.
Monique was terrified to see Akirexer. She faced away from Akirexer and hoped that Akirexer didn't recognize her. Sheila on the other hand just scowled at Akirexer. There was no fear whatsoever in her eyes.
I have to get out of here. Monique thought.
Maradina stood beside Akirexer and looked blankly at Sheila from head to toe and turned to Monique.
"They are the ones that attacked Britney." Maradina said to Akirexer.
"Oh, you don't say." Akirexer smirked.
"Is that all you remember me for, bitch?" Sheila asked Maradina.
"Have we met before?" Maradina asked Sheila back.
Sheila's world blackened at her words. What did she just say? "Are you serious?" Sheila asked Maradina.
Maradina shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know you."
"Are you sure she is the one who took your eye and froze you?" Monique asked Sheila.
"Shut the fuck up Monique!" Sheila screamed at Monique.
"Ohhhh now I remember you." Maradina confessed. "No one has ever escaped my dragon's ice. How did you do it?"
"That's none of your business." Sheila growled. "Get down here and let's settle this." She spat.
"No!" a sudden feminine voice sounded.
Sheila and Monique turned to see Britney walk past Derrick. "She is mine."
Akirexer smirked. "Don't let us get in your way little sis."
Akirexer and Maradina jumped high into the air and joined Waxx on the battlefield. Monique dashed into the battlefield leaving Sheila alone.
"I can see you are doing fine after my last visit." Sheila glared at Britney. "How is your ratchet puppy?"
"Mention my child again and I will snap your neck in four bitch." Britney vehemently said to Britney through her fangs.
"You will not get away from me this time Britney. When I am through with you, I will rip your filthy disgusting puppy to shreds."
Britney immediately pounced on Sheila in her werewolf form. The two went at it, brutally attacking each other.
Bruce sat alone with his legs folded in the basement. His hands were put together and his eyes were closed. Underneath him was a circle with special symbols that he had drawn. He was chanting underneath his breath and everything around him was floating in the air.
In Dark Star, a similar sight was seen with ten thousands and thousands of gamarax manipulators in purple robes. Sharaina watched them from a terrace of her castle.
"It is now only a matter of time before the gamarax manipulators will be ready to teleport everyone." A woman softly said to Queen Sharaina.
She was a slender woman of five feet and three inches tall. Her sky blue hair flowed down her shoulders and ran all the way to her back. On her forehead was the star birthmark of all seers. At the center of it was a green crystal. Her soft pink eyes glanced over to the gamarax manipulators chanting the teleportation spell in the open fields.
"When did you get back, Emelinia?" Sharaina asked the woman.
"A little while ago. You didn't think that I'd pass the chance to see my sister in law before she goes off to fight yet another war now did you?" Her sweet voice replied.
Sharaina smiled warmly at her. "You know that I would have preferred that you stayed in Green instead of coming here. You, the children and grandma are all I have left of my maternal family."
"I understand your concerns but you need not worry." Emelinia assured Sharaina.
Sharaina shifted her eyes back to the gamarax manipulators. "All the same, I am happy to see you."
