Chapter 61
Chaos worsened across the globe leaving many dead or barely alive. The darkas gods fought against the vampires killing and absorbing them. They rescued as many humans as they could. The humans were terrified of the darkas gods because of their similar appearance to vampires.
Their fears were soon forgotten when they met their earthly military in the dorms. The peace and comfort the dorms offered the humans made it seem like there wasn't an ongoing war on the surface.
Rose sat alone on a bench as she watched Mason play with the other little children. She had asked Lois to join her but she turned her down. Lois was feeling depressed at having lost her boyfriend in the war.
'Maybe she just needs some time to mourn him.' Rose crossed her legs and folded her hands.
A woman with a Mohawk sat on the bench opposite to Rose. She appeared to be between the ages of 25 and 28. She wore no makeup at all and had a silver nose ring in between her nostrils. Her tight white vest exposed her flat chest and sleeve tattoos on both her hands. She spread her legs in her black buggy pants. Rose's attention was drawn to her fingers because she kept turning her lighter on and off.
"You know, I can't help but feel that I have seen you somewhere before but I can't put my finger on it." She said with a surprisingly warm smile.
Her deviant look often gave society a picture that people like her were violent and vulgar.
"I am more than sure that I have seen you somewhere before." She continued.
Rose tucked her hair behind her ear and pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose. "I don't think we have met before." Rose said, trying her best not to sound rude.
The woman looked at Rose from head to toe and shook her head. "No, I am pretty sure that I have seen you somewhere before." She insisted.
Rose inhaled quietly and didn't respond to the woman. She hoped that her silence was going to give her the hint. The woman noticed that Rose was uncomfortable and she extended her hand in greeting.
"I'm Samantha Elliot but people call me Sam. I didn't mean to irritate you." She said with a smile.
Rose reluctantly took her hand. "Rose Peterson." She introduced herself.
Sam stomped her feet in excitement and attracted attention from the people sitting near them. Rose felt irritated by Sam even more.
"I knew that I saw you somewhere. You are that lawyer that the Packet brothers kidnapped. I saw you on TV during your press conference. Wow, I never thought that I'd ever meet you in a place like this. You didn't disclose who rescued you from the Packets." Sam blurted out in excitement.
Oh my god she is so annoying. "I would rather not talk about that." Rose coldly answered and Sam took the hint.
"Please, by all means forget that I asked." Sam backed off and leaned against her bench. "Are you here alone?" She changed the subject.
"No, I am here with my son and cousin." Rose answered. Why can't she just leave?
"Is he the one with the green shirt and blue shorts?" Sam asked again.
Rose narrowed her eyes suspiciously at Sam. The hell? "Yes he is. How did you know that?" Rose curtly asked Sam.
"You haven't taken your eyes off him for more than a minute since we started talking." Sam proudly pointed out with a smug look on her face. "I am very observant."
"Oh." Was all Rose could say.
"My kid is the little girl with pig tails. The woman talking to her is my wife." Sam pointed at a chubby woman in a bam short. She had a huge tiger tattoo on her thigh.
"Your wife?" Rose's eyebrow jerked up.
"Yes my wife. We have been married for three years but have known each other for seven years." Sam pulled out a cigarette with her mouth from her pack of cigarettes. "Do you mind if I smoke?"
"Only if you don't offer me one." Rose said and Sam gladly let Rose pull out a cigarette. Thereafter she gave her the lighter.
Sam waited for Rose to take a pull before asking. "How long have you been attracted to women?"
"What has given you the idea that I am attracted to women?" Rose asked Sam back. She was clearly irritated by her question.
"I saw you staring at my wife's ass." Sam said and Rose nearly dropped her cigarette. "That's why I came here to have a chat with you." Sam took a pull.
Rose felt uneasy. She was ogling at the woman's ass but she didn't think that anyone noticed. Rose felt embarrassed at having gotten caught.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." She apologized.
"Don't worry, I'm not mad at you or anything. I know she has a glorious ass. That's why I married her. I, however, can't help but notice that you seem to be hiding your homo sexuality Miss Peterson."
"I am not lesbian." Rose leaned back on the bench and took a soothing pull of her cigarette. Hell, might as well have a descent conversation with someone who won't judge me. "I am bisexual." Rose confessed.
"A player of both teams huh? Not bad... not bad at all. I am a full blown lesbian." Sam winked at Rose. "Would you mind if I asked you another question?" Sam asked and Rose lazily nodded her head. "Is there a man or woman in your life?"
"I have no man. Ever since I divorced my husband, I haven't been in anything serious with a man. As for a woman..." Rose paused. She had a hurt look on her face. "There is one but she's..." Rose paused again. "Straight." She said with a sigh.
"Got damn what were you thinking falling for a straight chick? You know that it never works out. They always end up picking dick." Sam laughed openly at Rose.
Rose laughed with her. "I couldn't help it. She is the only one that I have ever truly loved."
"Does she know how you feel about her?" Sam put out what was left of her cigarette.
"No she doesn't. No one except my ex husband knows about this. She does however, have suspicions about my sexuality."
"Are you going to tell her?"
After what seemed like a long pause in thought, Rose replied. "Never. I don't want to ruin our friendship. I lost her twice. I will not be able to handle a third time." Rose put out her cigarette.

Britney and Sheila exchanged powerful blows. Britney felt herself going deaf due to Sheila's sonic screams whereas Sheila had severe bite wounds all over her body. Everyone else around them was fighting to the death. Vampire dust and vampire bodies were scattered all over.
The sonic screams from the other vampires killed off the horses in the ranch. They also destroyed part of the house but Maradina, Alex and Waxx did their best to keep the vampires from entering the house. All except one.
Monique managed to find her way in without anyone noticing. She made her way upstairs and headed straight for the room where Alex Jnr was hidden. The moment she entered the room, she covered her nose in disgust.
Why do werewolves have to smell revolting when they are babies?
Monique opened the closet and immediately saw Alex Jnr fidgeting in the covers. She picked him up and gagged.
"Yuck! So gross." She said in disgust. "You are so lucky that I need you alive. You are my ticket to respect. If I take you to The Great One, I will surely earn the respect that I deserve. I am sick and tired of Sheila belittling me."

"You tired yet bitch?" Sheila mocked Britney who lay on the ground bleeding from her ears in human form.
"You know, your arrogance has always been your weakness Sheila." Britney laughed softly. "I always told you not to celebrate before you actually won."
As soon as Britney finished talking, Alex sank his teeth into Sheila's neck from behind and dropped her to the ground. Sheila tried to let out a sonic scream but she could no longer use her vocals. She desperately reached out for her natrifin and successfully pulled it out. Unfortunately for her, Britney kicked it from her hand and it rolled away.
"It is over." Britney coldly said to Sheila and stomped her head into vampire dust.
Monique appeared and picked Sheila's bottle of natrifin. She looked at Alex in his werewolf form and Britney standing over Sheila's lifeless body in her human form. Monique couldn't believe that Sheila lost. Britney sensed Alex Jr and she was horrified to see him in Monique's hands. She quickly turned into her werewolf form and charged at Monique.

The royal gong was heard all over Cherilisia in Dark Star. The time for the teleportation had finally arrived. Every warrior darkas god on Earth and Dark Star was already alert and ready. The gamarax manipulators sent out a powerful teleportation wave.
Every vampire and warrior darkas god it came in contact with was immediately teleported away. Only an army of ten thousand warriors were left out. They were sent to the Dragon Territory to keep them from been teleported. Their duty was to guard the throne and kingdom at large after the teleportation was complete.
"Dawn, I hope to see you soon." Sharaina said. "I'm leaving you in charge of my people until I return." Sharaina turned to Wadose, "As my Chief advisor, you will assist Dawn in running my kingdom."
"You know that you can always count on me my queen." Wadose responded respectfully with a bow.
"Mama, why won't you let me come with you?" Dawn protested.
Sharaina cupped the side of his face. "Because I need you here my child. Your father is close to waking up. I need you to be with him in case anything happens to me." she softly said.
Dawn took her hand with both hands. "Do not say such things, mama. You will return to us." he rebuked and received a smile.
"Take care of yourself Sharaina." Emelinia voiced out.
"I ask the same from you." Sharaina replied to Emelinia and the wave hit her.
"Long live Dark Star." Wadose said after.

Waxx, Josh, Akirexer, Maradina, the twins and all the vampires vanished one by one taking along with them everything they where in and what they were holding. Britney was just about to pounce on Monique when she disappeared with her baby right before her eyes. Britney looked around for Monique but she was nowhere to be seen. Alex realized that they were the only ones remaining in the battlefield.
Britney got paralyzed with great fear and panic. She couldn't believe that her baby was gone. She let out a long and loud howl. Alex naturally joined her and their howls synced perfectly. Their howls were heard from miles away by the other werewolves and they all joined in.
