I woke up the next morning to see Veloces yanking on the handcuffs, growls escaping his throat. I moved to get up but my body burned. I yelped and fell back down, the fire only growing. I heard the snapping of medal as Veloces quickly picked me up and pulled me close to him. The pain eased a little, but it was still severe.

"You okay?" he whispered, kissing me.

I shook my head, "My body feels like it's on fire."

That and the need to hump something, ew. The fire suddenly went to my core, making me whimper even more. Veloces' eyes were black again as he held me close, trying to get rid of some of the pain. The fire in my core grew even more; I clawed at Veloces' back as I struggled to ignore it.

He realized what my issue was and laid me down, he then studied me. "I know you don't want to mate, but I can at least help with one part of it." he stated, glancing at my core.

I swallowed, "Veloces, I don't want to have-

"No, we're not having sex. Just let me do this, please? It'll help." he pleaded.

I bit my lip and nodded, unsure of what he was planning. He laid beside me and slipped his hand into my pants and started to rub me there. I moaned, the pleasure instantly hitting me like a ton of bricks. My moans started to get louder as I started to reach my peak, the fire disappearing as he continued. I was panting, the pleasure taking over me. I dug my nails into the bed as I reached my climax, I cried out in complete pleasure as it hit.

After I was calmed down he removed his hand and watched me. "Do you feel better now?" he asked.

I took a deep breath, realizing the fire was completely gone. From my core and my body. I nodded and looked at him, a small smile on my face. "Thank you."

"Welcome, now, I'm going to take a cold shower. A very cold shower." he said as he got up.

He kissed me on the lips then grabbed a towel and went into the bathroom. As he showered I laid there, relieved that the fire was gone.

"It'll come back tonight, you should just mate with him already." my wolf chirped.

"No." I replied.

I was about to fall asleep when someone barged in and jumped on top of me. I looked up to see a smiling Lizzy with Christine, Holly, and Olivia behind her. I furrowed my eyebrows as she sat on my bed.

"We're going to the mall." she stated. "Can you come?"

I frowned, "I don't know, I'm in heat and everything..."

"Yeah, well, we heard your moans...clearly he took care of that." Holly grinned, winking.

I could feel the blush heat up my face, "We didn't do it. He...just...helped me a little."

"Ah, I see. Well, it should be gone for a little while." Lizzy replied, her eyes begging me to come.

"No, she'll still have the scent though. I don't want any males around her, especially since she's not marked." Veloces said, walking out of the bathroom.

For the first time, I actually agreed with him. I know what can happen if an unmarked or mated she-wolf walks through many male wolves while she's in heat. It can be very bad, the need to mate will rise in any unmated male. I cringed at the thought, ew.

"Awe, okay. Well, when are you supposed to be out of heat?" Holly asked.

"For the rest of the week I'll be in heat." I replied.

"Then, when we come back we could have sundaes or something." Christine suggested with a smile. "Or watch a movie."

"Yeah, that sounds good." Olivia chirped.

"Then it's a date!" Lizzy cheered. "See ya later, girl!"

With that, they left and shut the door behind them and once again, I was trapped in the room. Veloces threw on a shirt as he walked towards the door.

"I have to go and get some paperwork done. I also have to train warriors, stay here. Okay?" he asked, gently grabbing my face.

I nodded, "Okay, I'm going to clean up the room a bit. Could you get someone to bring in food for dinner?"

"I'll do that since I'll be back in two hours. Love you."

I sighed, alone once again. I stood up and stretched, looking at the mess around the room. I told the maid she no longer had to clean the room and boy did she look pissed. She wasn't an older woman, she had to be a few years older than Veloces. I could tell by the outfit that she didn't have any self respect or class. Her boobs were practically falling out and the skirt was way too short.

I was glad she didn't clean the room anymore, goddess I hated her being around Veloces. I would see the look she gave him every time she looked at him. She would only show me disrespect, but that isn't going to continue. If I'm going to be the Luna of this pack, then some of them need to learn to respect me.

As I cleaned up the room I started to have thoughts of her going into Veloces' office while I was up here. I know Veloces is a little...frusterated because of my heat and all, but he wouldn't cheat on me, would he? I bit my lip and glanced at the door, tempted to walk down there. I then shook my head, I have to trust him.

I picked up another shirt when he burst in, an annoyed look on his face. He threw a file down on the bed before sitting down. I frowned and stood in front of him, I gently grabbed his jaw and made him look at me.

"Hey, what's the matter?" I asked.

"Please tell me you fired that maid." he groaned.

"Why?"

"She doesn't leave me alone! My goddess, doesn't she see that you're my mate?"

"Then why was she your maid?"

"I made sure I was never in here when she was. I can't stand pack sluts and that's what she is. She has no respect for herself and she doesn't have any class. She just opens her legs for every damn male. She's a walking STD!" he complained, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I honestly hope her mate is in a different pack."

I smiled to myself, well, clearly he doesn't like her. I sighed and hugged him, even though his head was resting on my boobs. He didn't do anything sexual though, he only stood up and kissed me.

"You're worried about something." he whispered, looking at me.

I bit my lip, "I was worried that you...you...would...um...cheat on me, with her." I admitted quietly.

He frowned, "Honey, I promise you I won't cheat. That is one thing I hate the most, a man or woman who cheats. If you're going to be with someone, then you should make sure you really want to be with them. It's not fair to the other person, while the cheater is blinded by his or her lust for someone else, the partner is only feeling betrayal and hurt. Almost like Crudelis, that is what blinded him to the fact he was abusing me for many years. That, and his hatred for me since I was considered a bastard child.

Which I technically am, since Marcus wasn't planning on getting my mother pregnant. The dumbass didn't use protection. I have no idea what he expected, maybe that she wouldn't be able to get pregnant, but she did." he blurted out.

I kissed his cheek, "But if you weren't born then I wouldn't have you as my mate."

"True."

I smiled and sighed, remembering what my wolf said. I felt as if that wall was slowly crumbling down, I looked at him. He watched me with confused eyes as I just studied him.

"Can I tell you something?" I asked.

He nodded, "Yeah, what's wrong?"

"Nothing...I...I just want to tell you how I really feel."

He nodded and sat down, I sat beside him and took a deep breath. "I don't think you're a monster, you're the best damn thing that has ever happened to me. Yeah, you abused me in the beginning, but I'll get over that eventually. It only brought us closer, which doesn't usually happen. Yet, it did bring us closer. In your defense, I was a total bitch and did everything I could to hurt you. To make you hate me so I could leave. You're everything I could ever want in a man. Tall, handsome, dark, mysterious, loving, caring, and so on.

I'm beyond lucky to have you and I was an idiot for ever rejecting you. I would be a totaly dumbass if I never returned. If Jeremy and Crudelis killed you...I would be lost. I can't see my life without you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to be that girl that you just can't get out of your head. The girl who dreamed out. The girl who you look for, for guidance and love. I love you more than anything and would give my life for you. I love you, Veloces."

My heart was hammering against my chest as I tore my eyes away from his. I looked down at my hands, afraid that he'll reject me. He carefully grabbed my jaw and made me look at him, my breathing hitched as I saw the wave of emotions pass through his beautiful blue eyes. Love, lust, passion, everything. We just stared at each other, completely lost in each other's stares. He then kissed me and I went along with it. Both of us put all of our love and lust into it. He pulled me close and then on top of him as he fell over on the bed. I straddled his waist, our lips dancing as we continued to kiss.

He placed his hands on my butt, but didn't make any sexual moves. We only kissed, lost in our love. He then started to trail kisses down my neck and to my collar bone. I gasped and moaned as he sucked on a certain spot. It was right in the middle of my neck and shoulder. His canines gently grazed over that area, making me moan even more.

"Can I?" he asked, his voice husky.

I pursed my lips, but then nodded. "Yes, mark me."

He sunk his canines in, the first thing I felt was the pain. Then, pleasure swept over it, as if it never hurt. It went through me in waves, making me smile and moan. I wanted to mark him right now, but that doesn't happen until we fully mate. Veloces licked the blood away before planting a small kiss there. He then brought his lips back to mine and continued kissing me.

After a long time we parted and I just laid beside him, enjoying this moment with him. He wrapped his arms around me and peered into my eyes. We smiled at each other, nothing but love dancing in our stares. I then cuddled closer to him and closed my eyes, falling asleep in his warm embrace.

I growled, punching the tree to my left. I then proceeded to throw random trees, my anger growing as I watched them. It disgusted me. To see that love. To see romance. I ran my hand through my hair, I never had that type of love. I never had a mate, I probably did at some point, but she's most likely with someone else now. My wolf howled in pain, wanting to find his mate.

I watched their house, loathing their love for each other. I'll admit, I'm jealous, but he doesn't deserve it. He never has and he never will. I shifted and ran off, needing to release some frusterations and get my mind off things. As I reached our camp I grabbed some she-wolf's arm, dragging her to my cabin. I threw her onto my bed and ordered her to undress.

Fear was evident in her hideous hazel eyes, but I didn't care. I quickly undressed; she tried escaping me but I slapped her. Hard.

I threw her out when I was done and slammed my door closed. Ignoring her comments of "You're such a disgusting pig!" I winced as those words came out of her mouth. For some odd reason her words hurt more than anyone else's words.

My wolf wanted me to drag her back in here, but I refused to. A random she-wolf shouldn't be taking over my mind like this. That's alright, I'll just kick her out tomorrow morning.

I quietly stared out the window, a strange feeling washing over me as I saw a few bushes move. I swear I saw bright blue eyes watching me. I quickly turned my attention to Veloces as he walked into the room. He seemed tired as he slumped onto the bed, not holding the regular strong Alpha stance. I got up from my chair and walked over. Sitting down beside him, I gently rubbed circles on his back and waited for him to talk.

"Someone's attacking my patrols again. I don't recongnize the scent either." he mumbled, running her hand down his face. "What am I going to do? I mean...if...or when we start a family, I want them to be safe."

I smiled softly and kissed his cheek, "Veloces, no matter what we do there will always be some type of danger. The world is a very...complicated place and being a werewolf just adds onto the complications. Rogues run around these forests like madmen and other packs try murdering neighboring packs. You're doing the best you can, that's all we can expect from you or anyone else. You're being a wonderful Alpha and if we're thinking about starting a family soon, that's exactly what you'll need to be. That and a loving father."

He looked at me and smiled, "Where would I be without you?"

"Underground, dead." I replied, smirking.

He rolled his eyes, "Always the one to reply with a serious answer."

We kissed once more before he got up and grabbed a towel. While he took a shower I took my place at the chair again, watching the forest outside my window. My wolf growled, not liking that feeling as it came over us again. I was lost in my train of thoughts, not even noticing Veloces' shower ending.

I jumped and shrieked when he suddenly grabbed me, his eyes laced with amusement. I playfully slapped him on the shoulder before looking out the window again.

"Hey, are you alright?" he asked, now concerned.

I sighed, "I think this intruder who's murdering our patrols...was outside our window. I saw the bushes move and I swear I saw two blue eyes. I know they weren't yours, there was something in them...something that would send chills down someone's spine."

"Then I'll have to double up patrols around the packhouse as well. No way in hell is he or she ever getting in here." he said, pulling me close.

We laid beside each other in bed, kissing for a while. After a little bit we parted and cuddled up, both of us closing our eyes and drifting off to sleep. Something tells me that Crudelis was only the beginning.
