Fifty-three

~A month later~

~Aphrodite~

"They look fine to me. Your wolf really healed you up nicely Luna." Vivens says as he pulls my shirt down and helps me to sit up.

Yeah. I helped nicely.

Shut up Eris.

"This should be your last check up. Just come to me if you feel any pain or anything else you feel unsure of." He walks away and walks towards his clipboard and writes down whatever he needs to write down.

"Well thank you for checking on me." I said as I got off the bed and stood tall as I stretched up.

"You're welcome Luna." He says as still continues to write down in his clipboard. I sigh and then start to walk towards the door.

My hand rested on the knob and I turned to say something but I didn't know what to say, so I left awkwardly. I walked out of the pack house with some wolves avoiding me at all coast.

I walked faster towards the estate but I was stopped. "I have to leave."

"I want to stay here Aphrodite but we can't."

"What?"

Cadmar and Zeka took a step forward and pulled me into a tight hug. I stood in the middle of them, not moving as they hugged me with all their might.

"My mother is going with her cousin. He can't live off by himself. He doesn't know how to survive well." Cadmar said.

"And she's forcing us to come. She's afraid the Alpha might ban us too. She doesn't want to risk that." Zeke says.

I shake my head and grab their hands. "Valdus is fixing himself. I promise he won't ban you two, and I'm sorry about Wilson, but you guys are old enough to decide if you want to stay here. And plus you guys have a title to hold."

"Tell that to our mom." Zeke says.

I roll my eyes and let go of their hands. "It's up to you guys. I really can't stop you, but that means you guys would turn rogue to this pack."

"Yeah. We know. Sucks." Cadmar says.

"Just talk to her, I'm sure she'll understand."

"I guess." Zeke said.

"We'll try. But if it doesn't happen and you hear about a little pack running off the territory, than you know we couldn't stay and don't chase us too hard." Cadmar said.

"Don't say that."

"Bye Aphrodite." They both gave me a tight hug and then took off.

I rubbed the side of my jaw and sighed. I walked back to the estate and walked inside, closing the door softly behind me. The whole house was quiet and no matter how much I tried to hear something, nothing.

I couldn't hear anything. I walked cautiously in, and towards the stair case. I walked up the stairs and continued to listen if I can hear Valdus. He was here before I left to go see Vivens. I'm not sure if he left somewhere, or he went to go see his fathers grave.

I walked down the hall and I don't know why but it felt like I was walking into danger. Like I was on high awareness. I looked behind myself and the dark hallway was all I can see.

I didn't know it was already sundown when I came inside, but that's how the house started to become darker. I walked towards his door and knocked. I don't know why I waited for an answer, but I did, but I never received one.

I took a deep breath in and walked in. The room was dark and the window was open, so it wasn't helping when the darkness from outside was creeping in. I turned on the lights and I held my breath waiting to see someone in here but no.

I sighed the breath out and walked further in. I walked towards the bed and flopped myself on there. My face was submerged into the bed and my body started to sink in the bed. I was about to turn my head to the side to breathe, but when I heard the door close behind me, I tried to turn around but I was already being flipped onto my back.

My arms were pinned above my head as my legs were underneath him. His face was close to mine and I was already breathing heavily. His eyes were dark. He stared deep in my eyes and he was only centimeters away from my face. He didn't move at how close he was. He was already straddling my hips, pinning my whole body on the bed.

My arms moved but that only caused him to tighten his hold on me, not letting a chance of me slipping away. "Valdus." I breathed out.

He tilt his head to he side but didn't say anything. "Valdus." I said once more as I squirmed around.

I moved my arms again but this time I was trying to get out from under him. But he held them tight and pushed them harder into the bed. I stared at him somewhat frighten. This is a new emotion he's been through.

All he was been showing was depression and sadness. His emotion never changed. So seeing him like this is shocking. I haven't seen him like this for awhile.

I still breathed heavily and he looks down to my chest where it moves up and down somewhat fast. My cheeks heat up and he looks back to my eyes. He then slams his lips down on mine and is hard.

It's a bruising and no emotion kiss. He's forcing himself to feel something. I don't move my lips with his and I move my head to the side. He moves his lips down to my neck and teases me with his teeth. I squirm around and then moves to my mark. He kisses it and slightly scrap his teeth over it and that sends me over the edge. I try to move my arms and push him off but he holds them tight still.

"Valdus!" I yell. He then looks up to me and raises an eyebrow. I shake my head, "What is wrong with you?!" He blinks and then tried to steal a kiss from me but I bite down on his lips. He growls and pulls away. "Valdus, what's wrong?!"

He gets off of me and takes a couple steps back, away from me. I sit up and he has his eyes closed and his mouth is moving and he's softly talking to himself.

"Valdus."

He shakes his head and continues to talk to himself. I stand up and walk over to him. I walk up to him and place a hand on his cheek, "Valdus, what's wrong?" I say softly.

His eyes are back to his normal hazel but they hold sadness. The emotion I'm already used to seeing.

And it hurts seeing it.

"I want to have a pup. I want to have a family to see if that would help me, but I can't even do that again because I already scare you with the monster I am, and I know I would hurt you again in the end." He says as his face drops and his hands covers mine over his cheek.

My face drops and my heart picks up.

"I want to try." He says.
