I look to Kane horrified, confused about how he knew. Kane smirks and shrugs. "Your scent changes when carrying babe, soon everyone will know." He says with pride.

"Oh.." I mutter out, embarrassed that he can literally smell me and others can.

Kane brings me into his wide and kisses my forehead then whispers in my ear. "Mine." Which causes my whole body to get tingles.

"The Luna and I have something to discuss, inform Lucas that stage 1 is operational." Kane says with authority towards Larson.

What is stage 1? I look at Kane to see him giving nothing away as he does not look at me but at Larson.

"Yes, Alpha." That is all he says before he is gone in a blink of an eye.

I blink my eyes and look around bewildered by how fast he went. Holy crap. Did he teleport or just go invisible? Just when I think I know everything something else surprises me and then I realize I don't know a single thing

"He is a trained shadow." Kane says as he smiles at my shocked expression.

His expression turns serious as he looks at my face. The wrinkles are beginning to form and I know what he says next is not going to be good. It never is when he gets that face.

"Sora, things are going to get dangerous, I know you are a strong woman and I respect and admire that about you so much, it's something I would never change." He says softly as he moves the hair from my face to behind my ear.

"What's wrong? Why are you telling me this?" I ask him.

"This war is going to affect not only my kind but yours. Do you understand what I'm saying?" He asks me.

What does that mean? "What? But isn't this between The Vale and-"

Kane interrupts me. "No." His voice is hard and cold. "Your leaders know of our kind but not the Vale, not many know but they have no way to protect themselves for what is about to come." He places his large hand on my belly. "Millions will die Sora, I fight not only for my kind but for yours. I know I have kept some hidden from you but it's time for me to tell you about stage 1." He says as he goes into a folder that was inside his jacket and hands it to me. "It's in English."

I nod and grab the file with shaky hands.

I stare at the big bold words and begin to get nervous. What the hell is going on?

I thought this war was just a small thing but now the whole damn world is a part of this?
