SORA
Walking up to Kane's house, with his large hand in mine had been like I was in a dream.
Not only is this man my... "mate" but he's a freaking werewolf and he turns into a massive wolf... oh and I'm his freaking soul-mate. I'm still processing all of this and I still can't believe werewolves are real and they aren't the only mythical creature that is real.
His house is freaking huge by the way. It's absolutely gorgeous.. just like this man, no- focus!
"I love your house!" I say admiring everything as we walk in. The smell of pine is everywhere and I love it.
Although there's not much stuff inside, it definitely needs a woman's touch...
"I'm happy you like it mate." Kane gives me his drop-dead smile and gives me a tour of the house.
"I actually built it, I finished it 2 years ago."
"You built it alone? But its huge! It would've taken you years." I say, amazed.
He laughs and nods and looks at me with a look I can't place. "I built it for us, I.. I needed something to do when I couldn't find you.. so I built us a house for our family." He states with a small smile.
Our family. This is insane! He wants to have kids already.
Is this moving too fast? I seriously do not deserve this.. wolfman in front of me. He built us a freaking mansion. "This is crazy" I mutter quietly to myself. I feel like I have whiplash, too much is happening too fast.
"I want to show you something before we eat." He says, leaving no room for a reply as he guides me up the spiral stairs.
"Is there where you handcuff me to your bed to stop me from running?" I tease him.
He chuckles. "No, not today mate."
I don't even think he is kidding either. The thought makes me shudder but makes me feel light in my stomach. I really wouldn't mind this guy holding my prisoner.
We stop outside a door and he looks a little uneasy. "I hope this isn't too forward." He says as he opens the door and I am completely speechless.
An art room. A top-of-the-line art room with everything I can think of inside. I don't even have words to express how I'm feeling.
He is the best and I do not deserve this man.
I don't realize I'm crying until he is looking at me with panic. "Fuck, is it too much? When I learned that you liked to paint...fuck, please don't cry." He says as he wipes my tears away with a frown on his face. As he silently whispers 'shit' to himself.
I shake my head and I feel a fist in my throat, I can't speak. I walk into the room and he thought of literally everything. Admiring the paintbrushes and not the mention the large glass windows.. and the view. Holy shit. I could stay in this room for the rest of my life and paint.
This is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me.
"Sora?" Kane grabs my hand and I stare at him. I stare at this beautiful man in front of me who moments ago I was terrified of. Terrified of how deep our connection is so soon and how everything is happening so fast. I'm terrified of falling in love again.
His dark brown hair, beautiful green eyes with a splash of yellow. His perfect jawline and sharp eyebrows, not to mention how he could make a simple outfit look amazing. He could quite possibly crush me with his pinky finger.
"I love it."
He grins and sighs out, running his large tan hand through his hair. "Thank the moon goddess."
I giggle at how this scary intense yet incredibly handsome man is worried about freaking me out.
"Let's eat." He says kissing me on the forehead.
The kiss gives me butterflies in my stomach and all I can do is nod.
His kitchen had everything, it's perfect and I can't help but watch as he cooks me food.. for once someone is actually cooking me something. I can't remember the first time someone had done that.
"Tell me more about you Sora." He smiles at me as he chops onions.
I shift as he gazes at me. "Um.. okay, I'm not as interesting as you though.. " I laugh nervously.
He snorts. "Bullshit."
I laugh and take a deep breath. "Well.. my full name is Sora Collins, I'm 24, born in London and until recently I lived in Paris for 3 years.." I grimace but continue. "I'm an only child, my parents passed when I was 14, I went to an all-girls boarding college... and that's where I met Amanda." I smile at the memory. "I guess that's it." I say with a nervous smile as he listens quietly.
He hums. "Tell me about your parents." He says and I freeze.
He notices and frowns. "Sorry, how about you ask me something and we take turns asking questions." He suggests and I smile.
"Sure, you go first.." I shyly smile at how different he is acting right now. Free and relaxed.
"What's your favorite food?" He asks and I grin widely.
"Pasta Bolognese, definitely," I say and he nods smiling.
"What's yours?" I ask him as he tosses the steaks on the pan.
"Easy, any meat." He says instantly and I laugh.
I watch him move around the stove and I'm mesmerized by how his back muscles flex each time he moves. Woah.
"What's your favorite color?" I ask curiously. I always see him wearing the same colors. Blue and white or black.
He stares at me and smirks. "Your eyes are my favorite color." He says and I feel my neck get hot. I thought he was joking the first time he said that..
I groan at him. "You are such a flirt." I hide my face. How can he get this effect on me so easily without even trying?
He shrugs. "Not really." He says handing me a plate with a steak, salad, and chips on and my mouth starts to water. "I haven't flirted before." He says and I snort.
"Yeah right." I nudge him playfully as he sits beside me with his plate.
"I'm serious." He seriously states with a straight and 'deadly serious' expression.
I look at him. No freaking way. "How is that possible? Have you seen yourself?" I say without realizing I said that out loud. "I-I meant you are really good looking, and you are an Alpha, which is good isn't it.. I mean I don't know.. " I ramble on as he just looks at me smiling.
"No one else mattered to me." He says with a shrug as he digs into his steak.
"Are you a virgin?" I blurt out.
OH MY GOD SORA WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY.
Before he could reply I interrupted him. "Oh my g-god I didn't mean to say that out loud... I'm so embarrassed" I mumble as I groan into my hands. I hear his chest rumble with laughter at my rambling.
"I am yes, it's an old tradition for wolves to wait for their mate." He smiles. "I know it's different for humans so I don't expect you to do the same.. not everyone respects the old ways."
