The formal ceremony
Ace shifted in his black fur as he let me sit on his back. He was being protective of me as always, making sure no other werewolves were in the area before we cross the borders.
Since it was too silent, I decided to annoy Maximus who was too serious tonight.
“Hey Maximus,” I called out as he was facing ahead.
His eyebrows raised at me soon, “Yes?”
I smiled, “You seem to disappear these days. Where were you!”
“Can you shut up “
I widened my eyebrows at him, almost laughing as Ace stopped walking below me, glanced at his subordinate and Maximus looked down.
“Oops, you should be careful, your mouth slips here.”
I swear, seeing Maximus act all mighty when he’s with me and forgetting Ace was just around is too funny to watch.
Mark, who was ahead of us, heard the commotion and looked at me. He must have thought something happened to me that he was on alert. I smiled at him and he returned scouting ahead.
Ah, this is my kind of entertainment.
It took us a whole day and night to reach the Crimson pack.
It was dawn, and the sun was just starting to set. Everyone was asleep in the packhouse, all the remaining werewolves were mostly she-wolves and children, with just a few fighters or the deltas.
They looked at us and smiled, “Alpha!”
They were too happy to see Ace, and they welcomed us warm-heartedly. I feel guilty for them to be left without alpha and knowing how dangerous it would be, they might have been attacked again or something.
I guess the heavens were in our favor now.
We settled in and I find myself in Ace’s room.
I wasn’t able to do anything when Ace’s hands flew to my chest and were groping my body.
I lightly tapped him, “Ace! We just returned!”
He leaned in for a kiss, “And I am hungry.”
“But I am dirty from the travel. I still-“
“That’s the point. I wanted to take you in while you are in that state.” He said, “Inhale you from every inch.”
I wanted to facepalm myself, now caught in his trap again. I should have expected he would do this soon!
Now that we are in his pack, of course, he would do what he wants!
Ah, it felt like I did nothing productive but let Ace roam my body. To think that we were just in each other’s arms last time.
“I have to prepare. Didn’t you promise me one thing when we return here?” I was fighting back the temptation and distracting him.
“Promise what?” He was not fondling my breasts, his eyes looking up at me.
“The formal ceremony,” I answered. He then paused, “Can we do that later?”
“No. I want it now.”
A sigh escaped his lips, “Alright you have a point.” He then put his lips, “But I can’t promise you after that ceremony that I won’t inhale you.”
Ah, to think I would know he would finally get enough of me. I mean, it is a good thing that an Alpha is all over me and it has its perks, but sometimes, I feel suffocated by his over possessiveness. I guess I have to voice it out soon.
I nodded, knowing I would regret saying yes to that. He instantly ran outside and made the preparations. I let him do his thing and took a nice and lovely shower.
Ah, this is good. It feels like forever since I last took a refreshing bath like this.
I guess there is no place like home.
I let my body relax in the warm water, feeling all the uneasiness leave my body.
Everything felt like a dream. Our adventure back there was too long but now, it felt too short.
Getting my revenge on those Red Crows was too satisfying, and meeting Arya and the rest was memorable.
I’ll take note soon and ask Ace if we can visit Arya.
I looked at the wounds I got. The scars and scrapes were visible, a sign that I just overcame all of those things.
Ah, I should have journaled everything si I could not forget it!
I want to get a notebook and a pen. I should ask Ace so I could journal now and then.
A knock on the door came followed by Ace’s voice, “I left your dress here.”
“Alright.”
Silence followed and I knew he would ask this, “Shall I join you there?”
“Ace!” I yelled and I could hear his laughter echoing in the hall.
“Alright, I respect your alone time. I’ll have someone help you prepare.” And with that, he left.
I let a minute pass before leaving the body and wiping my body with a clean cloth. Leaving the bathroom, I was faced with a she-wolf waiting for me.
She bowed at me, “Future luna. I am at your service.”
I smiled, but knowing every female here hates me because of Ace.
I wanted to ask her name but she was too silent so I didn’t bother. She was here to do her job, to help me prepare and when she was finished, she got out without another word.
I looked at myself in the mirror. Wearing the lilac-colored dress that Ace got, I don't even know where he got it from Such a short time. It’s not like he had time to go shopping.
My hair was up in a low bun with a few decorative pieces of leaves hanging to my forehead. My lips were red as she put a squashed red fruit to my lips earlier, and I didn't know the name of that fruit. She could have bought lipstick to make it easier but I guess this was more organic and the werewolf way.
Overall, I looked like a fairy. I know I looked good, and I am confident with my looks and I stood up and left the room.
“I’ll be waiting at the field, my love.” I heard Ace mind linking me.
passed through the hallways and walked to where Ace wanted the ceremony to be held and went to the wide field where various flowers were placed. A few lights were present and I knew they were fireflies placed at each corner to brighten up the place.
They were clapping as soon as they saw me walk down. All of the pack members were present, and I could see Maximus in the crowd giving a side eye at me.
Mark instantly got beside me and guided me in front, “Congrats, future Luna. I mean, our luna.”
He corrected himself and I blushed.
It feels so magical. And I feel like I am in a fairytale, a fairy at her wedding. In front, there he was, Ace, standing with all his glory.
His jet-black hair was pulled in a neat styling, it looked like silver against the moonlight now. His dark eyes were sparkling against the night, golden rings encircled them with a hint of gray.
He was waiting for me there, with a warm big smile.
Mark guided me in front and as soon as I reached it, I gasped at Ace, hugging him, “How did you prepare all of this?”
