There were two chairs by the window where she made me sit, while she was sat directly across from me. She mumbled a spell as her hands softly glided in the air and a table with tea and cups appeared out of nowhere..

I refused to even touch the cup as i just stare at her, “How would I know its not poison?”
“I’ll drink t first then,” She did as she said, “See? It’s completely harmless.”
“I understand your hesitancy and alertness to me, given that you’ve been far to exposed to the dangers outside, please forgive me for only taking you now…I should have been quicker..”
Still refusing the drink, I just stared into her eyes, trying to make a sense if she’’s lying. I’ll continue questioning her and playing along with al of this…but once I get out, i’ll make sure to leave this place.
I cleared my throat, “You’re late, I had experienced everything, far worse than you can imagine.” As if being sold as a teenager by your own damn dad to a random teacher tat ended up as your werewolf mate made ny sense…meeting for werewolf and being alone as the only human in the pack, plus having a delicate pregnancy there….and ended up kidnapped to another strange realm ending up as the witch realm that claims to be my birthright and the rightful heir to the throne given to my witch mother..
Yeah right, as if that was enough to convince me that I was not losing my mind….I wonder how I even stayed sane in the whole process.
I am thankful that Ace was there for me throughout the sad times.

She said in a gentle voice, trying to comfort me, “Forgive me for the tests earlier. That was made as a trap for anyone who dares to enter my palace without my blessing…and so not everyone can see me.”
“But isn't’ that strange? Then how come you’re a queen if your subordinates don't even see your face?”
“I prefer it that way, this way, I could continue watching over my subjects at ease without worrying about my safety.”
I nodded, she has a point, but that is still strange for me. Calling her subordinates as her subjects as if they are not beings…and staying in this highest islands in a tower with nothing to do but watch over the realm….that must be boring to do. It feels suffocating and hard to watch.
“You must be angry about my tests.” She said amidst the silence.
The angriness i was feeling suddenly resurfaced. I could feel my blood boiling now, “You showed me my parents in that damn mirror, so how could I not feel angry?”
“That mirror shows what you desire.” She said, “Did you desire the truth then? It showed you that.”
I breathed deeply, still not able to move on from that. How my mother cried selflessly having to sacrifice everything just to carry me, even her love for my father,…

“By birthing you. We were attacked by the werewolf clan and Vampire clan….and she, along with her sister Elsa hid in a remote island to protect you.. your mother died in the process and your aunt gave you or your father.”
“We lost everything. The whole witch realm was starving, the whole place was burning and stink of dead bodies….everyone lost hope for tomorrow….If I hadn't rose to power and risked everything, leading some rebels, we wouldn't even be here now, living in harmony.”
I nodded, appreciating her for that.that seems to be hard to do, I have to give her credit…
“And my baby?”
She nodded, glancing at my stomach with a smile, “We managed to keep it safe.”
I breathed in relief, knowing I can be at peace now. Do anything to me, but once someone dares ot harm my baby, I will never forgive them, I’ll make hell loose.
“I believe we need to save the rest of your questions next time..you seem tired, take a rest, Princess Kira.”
I stood up, and she stopped me.
“Remember, no one knows here except me, Samira and Lana. Keep everything I said a secret…They did not know that the late queen had a daughter in secret…”
“Why? Did you not informed them about my existence?”
“I kept it a secret for now because they might take it rather….harshly…the witch realm are sensitive when the topic is about your mother…”
I nodded, not sure what thatw as about. I thought they viewed my mother as heir hero, but judging to Queen Haelyn’s reaction, they must be having second thoughts and hate my mother for what she did….
Loving a human….and choosing to live remotely than helping the realm….this might have been a taboo for them….if that’s the case then my existence might have been a mistake for them….
I’ll make sue to ask this again when i return here next time. For now, i must rest and explore the whole lace without getting attention to myself.
The queen snapped her fingers and in a blink of an eye, I was faced to face with Lana and Samira who was sitting by the entrance of the floating sky island..
“Oh, you’re here already?” Lana asked, “How was it?”
I shrugged, “It was fine…”
“You’re lucky you got to see the queen and talk to her,” Samira mumbled.
“Samira, of course, she;s our future queen, Princess Kira has the privilege to anything in this realm. She owns all of this.” Lana lectured Samira who huffed.
I shook my head, “Let’s go for now.”
