The Anger

It was past 12 noon but I decided to stay at my father's room while watching a movie when Sheina came in "Vern, have you already taken your lunch?" She asked.

I just smiled at her knowingly.

She sighed and walked closer towards me, "Oh Vern, don't skip lunch see you are getting skinny. Here," She took my hand and handed me some money, "Go buy your food."

My eyes widened, "Oh no, I'm fine. I could buy my food." I said to her as I gave back the money she handed me.

She shook her head and did not accept her money when I gave it back to her, "Save your money for later Vern, I want to assure that you will spend this money to buy your food. I know that you are thrifty to the point that you limit eating just to save your money."

I sighed as I smiled at her, "Thank you, Shen. I promise, I will pay you back."

She shook her head once again and smiled, "Now go, don't starve yourself okay?"

I nodded, very thankful to have a friend like her in my life.

After our conversation, I went outside and looked for a place to eat and I knew exactly where to go.

Alpha Hade's POV

"Right, just keep your guard, Hade." Leo said as he smirked.

I grinned after he said those words. "You afraid of them? Oh well, knowing you, I know you couldn't touch even a single nail of mine."

His face suddenly turned hard, "We'll see, it will be a surprise for you, dear Alpha." Leo suddenly stood up from his seat and walked away.

I smirked, tch. "Stupid rogue."

Leo is a rogue that came from the Northern Kingdom but because of betraying his land, he was prohibited to step foot in the Northern Kingdom anymore.

'Follow him.' I ordered Andy through telepathy and he immediately obeyed.

I don't know the story behind that Leo and his Clan but it is not in my care. However, since he stepped on my land, I won't let him slide this time. I may have let him stay for days but his vacation here is over.

I stood up and looked around, it seemed like a lot of people were coming inside this luxurious restaurant and I felt suffocated with their scent and so I walked out.

As soon as I got out of the restaurant, I suddenly smelled that familiar scent. It was a usual human scent however it stands out among the people roaming around the area.

Out of instinct, I stopped and looked around, and there, on the other side of the road walking the girl that caught my attention. She has this wavy dark hair that cascades through her waist, Her fair skin and heart shaped faced compliment very well on her simple floral dress. And when she smiled, my heart skipped a bit. What was that? I hold my heart, it was too unusual for me to feel something like it.

'My lord, we caught him.' Andy said to me through telepathy referring to Leo.

'Take him to the cell and wait for my order, I have something to do.' After I replied, I blocked my head for receiving messages from the others.

I immediately headed to my car and started the engine. I don't know what I was doing as I realised I was following her. Vern Felisia... Even her name affects me in an unexplainable way. I have to find out why.

Ever since I saw that girl, something has definitely been wrong with me.

I sighed, and now the man who could not even get too close to girls is now chasing a girl. This is fucking insane.

After more minutes she stopped in a public eating place, it looked like a restaurant but a little compared to a normal restaurant. What do they call it again? Carinderia? Yeah, I think so, the banner above stated, 'Rita's Carinderia'.

Why is she eating here? It looks dirty as I see it, their cooking utensils seem not trustworthy. This place is not an eating place at all. But I just watched her as I sat in the driver seat of my car but there was a pull inside me wanting to drag her out of there and take her to a luxurious restaurant. I shook my head, that would make me so stupid. I've never been so stupid in my life but because of her my system is making me doing such stupidity.

I clenched my hand and took a deep breath, "Take it easy, Hade."

And now I am fucking talking to myself! Shit.

I tried to calm myself not to do ridiculous acts until she came out of that so-called Carinderia and after more like a century she at last came out probably finished eating her lunch. I looked at my watch and it's already 1pm, what is she up to?

She started walking once again, but I just distanced my car from her so as not to be noticed.

Why is she walking, doesn't she use a cab? Where are you up to Vern? Shit, this isn't me anymore. I am not the person who wasted time following someone for nothing. I have no gain from this stupidity. When I realised my actions, I decided to go back to the Company and there I am sure I will have a lot to gain. When I was about to turn my car I heard a voice of a guy calling her name through my wolf instinct.

"Vern!" He called once again which made a sudden rise of heat on my head which I know is anger.

Through the windshield of my car I saw a guy from the park, he was pale and somewhat at my age, he was calling Vern. I looked at Vern, she saw the guy and then... she smiled? I clenched my hands tightly holding the steering wheel. How could she smile to that guy? She already signed the contract, she shouldn't smile at some guys other than me.

Isn't she aware that her smile could seduce a guy? I watched as they walked closer to each other but I could feel the anger radiating off of me getting bigger, the monster inside me was coming out and I do not know why I am acting this way.

She is not my mate, I shouldn't be like this.

They talked and smiled together, oh fuck this!
