New bond
Soon, the three of us were added to Alpha Kamilah. She appeared by the bushes with her glamorous long hazel hair. Her tanned skin shone through the moonlight and her body accentuated all her curves. She had a deep set of enchanting ocean-blue eyes, matching with plump lips and glowing cheeks.
“We apologize for running late to the party, we had to finish some matters..” Her beautiful voice spoke, but I felt like I never understood a word she uttered as I was focused on her walking figure as she approached us.
Alpha Magnus stood beside her, looking paler than her and had raven hair. He looked intimidating until he broke into a smile. “Don’t worry guys, I am finally here to lighten up the
Alpha Kamilah rolled her eyes at her mate and greeted the alphas first. Her eyes caught mine and she slowly walked to our group. “You must be Nyra.”
I nodded, pursing my lips and gulping now that she was finally nearer.
She noticed my distraught and frowned, “Forgive me, did I scare you? I have this intimidating face and I often scare people away with this, this is just built in, I can’t control my features.”
I shook my head, “No, I uhm…was just amazed to see you in person. I could only hear about you like a legend.” I honestly did not know that I would meet her…and talk to her like this!
She giggled, “If you still doubt my existence, then you’re welcome to hug me to ensure that I am real.”
“Awe, you’re taking the attention of our new friend!” Kira commented.
It seems Alpha Kamilah only noticed their presence now, “Oh, how are you two?”
“Good. We couldn’t reach you.”
“I just got busy training all our pups and managing the pack.”
“Well, it is not like we don’t have a pack of our own too.” Kira sighed.
It’s suddenly lively in the whole pack house with their arrival. I felt so happy learning about their struggles, their life, and how they run the pack. They gave me advice, especially Alpha Kamilah who seems to be the oldest among us and had more experience.
I stood up to return to the packhouse and pee, and I completely forgot how nervous Creed was earlier now that he was looking at me. As if in que, he stood up and followed me inside.
We reached the comfort room and he instantly pulled me in a kiss, tracing kisses to my neck and I giggled, feeling tickled. “Hey, where’s this sudden sweetness? Don’t leave me some hickey, we are in the middle of welcoming our guests.”
“Yes, but I just missed being away from you.” I looked at him if he was serious. That was just for a few hours!
“How come you’re the most beautiful just standing among them? You stand out, Nyra.”
I shook my head, “Stop complimenting me, they are much more beautiful than me and I know that.”
“No, it is you.” He interjected, and I felt like we’d go about this for the whole night so I just agreed.
“How do you feel about them?” He asked, his eyes searching my eyes. He’s making sure I am comfortable with the females.
“Great. I feel like I am going to get along with them. We have the same perception in life. How about you?” I asked back.
He nodded, “The other alphas are okay, I think we’ll hit it off too. I am just not used to talking with the others, but Alpha Kai was a bit hard to talk with, speaking with Lycan King Ace feels like he’s my father always giving me advice, though I can handle Alpha Magnus a bit since he’s always cracking jokes.”
He said, and I pinched his cheeks, “Why are you so adorable?” I giggled.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, followed by Boris’ voice, “Lovebirds, I know it has been a fun night, but I hope you two are not doing what I think you are doing.”
We both paused, and I chuckled at how nervous Boris sounded.
“If you’re done doing what the hell you wanted there, then please return soon. I mean, just stop doing anything suspicious there and come back. They are noticing that you both are gone and it is stressing me out how we are the host and we are leaving them to wait. It’s rude for the alphas.” Boris was rambling on and I just opened the door.
Creed looked at him smugly and pulled me in a kiss, and Boris cringed in disgust.
“Cuz, you have to stop that or I’ll have to resort to other methods and pull her away from you.”
“Hey, you need to start calling me alpha, don’t you forget?” Creed complained.
“Yes, I’ll start that when you act like one.”
I just couldn’t help but laugh at their banter. The night is young, and they are both keeping it livelier.
“Babe, please stop him for me.”
“What? You deserve that, he’s right.”
“I’m your mate, you should side with me!”
Boris sighed, face palming, and looked at me dead in the eye, “How did you manage to fall in love with someone like him? How can you endure that?”
My shoulders were shaking from laughter at this point, and Creed was not having it as he fought with his cousin.
“You’re just jealous that I have a beautiful mate!” Creed retorted.
Boris, not affected, just looked at his nails, “Yeah, and I am happy to be single. Now go back there.” What I like about Boris is he has no filter and just says whatever he needs to be. He’s not even threatened by his cousin being the past ”Ravager” who could kill him in seconds if he wanted to. A perfect match for a not-so-talkative type like Creed. He just brings out the childishness in Creed that I didn’t know he had.
“I am proud you managed to pull this off,” I interjected between their banter.
Boris looked proud and smiled, “Well, of course, it is me, I have been trained since I was a child, this is an easy thing.”
“It was because of me.” Creed added then leaned to me, “Compliment me too, baby.”
Boris rolled his eyes, “Yes, alpha. But then, this is not possible without me so I have to give myself credit.” The two were fighting again and I left them in their world.
I quietly returned to the fire and where the females were sitting.
“Where did you go?” Asked Irina.
Kira wiggled her eyebrows, “She left with Alpha Creed, of course, they did something back there.”
“Oh, did you make some pups back there?”
I chuckled at their teasing, how they jumped to conclusions amazed me... We couldn’t hold a large banquet, and I know the alphas deserve more than this, but the alphas were already good with what we offered. All my misconceptions were wrong.
