I couldn’t contain my eyebrows raising. Excuse me? Jealous? Me? To them? Psh, as if. The oceans may turn dry and the moon might drop to the world but I will never think of that.

Wow. Who knew that this simple meathead of an alpha could believe her words like that? I guess he doesn’t have time to think sometimes since all he ever has was muscles and bloody “alpha hormones”.

Maya was now glaring at me. She’s jealous that I got her mate’s attention.

“Let’s just go, now babe. I’ll reward you with something.” Maya suggested, clinging to her mate’s arms.

Alpha Elijah nodded, his eyes gazing at me one last time before letting Maya drag him out of the room. The rest of their guards left too, except one who stayed to watch over us.

I glanced at Alpha Kai in front of me who was still silent.

“Are you stupid?” I asked him, “You made that darn alpha angry.”

But he was not even moving or looking at me.

I tried to reach out to him but my chains pulled me. It was not long enough to reach him.

“Watch? I won’t just let them kill me now. I still haven’t made you and your brother pay!” It’s crazy to think how I consider them as the enemy and now that we are both faced with a common enemy, I don’t have any choice but to team up with him.

We then went in silence. We were treated like pigs, no, I mean worse than pigs… as expected.

We weren’t even given any food or water. We just say there in silence. Letting hours pass by.

I wonder if Alpha Zef even noticed that we are gone for a long.

Or he would come after us and find our scent.

Well, I want to mind link him, but I know it would not reach him so it would be useless.

“No matter how strong you are, you’ll die out of infection if we don’t treat that,” I muttered, pointing to his wound and he just scoffed.

“If I die then that means I was too weak to fight off a mere infection.” He responded.

Alpha Kai, who had chains but was not tied to a spot was able to move around. So without the guard noticing, he broke my chain.

I rolled my eyes at him. This damn alpha. What was he waiting for or if he could do that?

I know that he could easily let us escape here with his strength but he didn’t. It was probably because he was still waiting for his wound to completely heal which I doubt.

“Now go.” He muttered, and I turned to him in disbelief.

“What? You’re letting me go and you to die here? No, I won’t accept it. I want to kill you both in my own hands.” I said through gritted teeth.

“I won’t let you die here.” Our fight was stopped as I heard the door open and I went back to my place and put my chain back to avoid getting suspicious. Alpha Kai went back to sitting where he was previously.

To my surprise, the same reeky smell appeared. It was Alpha Elijah who showed up, without Maya clinging to his hands.

His eyes landed on me. “I’ve been dying to meet you. I heard rumors about you. How you were a great fighter, just like your father.“

I blinked, wondering what he wants from me to come all the way here just to spew some nonsense at me.

“I heard you had already mated with Alpha Zef.”

Wow. Words do come fast.

He seemed to notice my reaction and smirked, “Surprised? I have a source.”

Oh, whoever his source is, he must be someone dumb enough to report even a mere matter like that.

He then inched closer to me, too close that I could feel his breath. “I wonder what it feels to be inside you. And make you compare which of us f*cks better.”

I uncontrollably took a deep breath.

Damn. So that is what he wanted.

That explains his nasty stares at me earlier. To think he was with his mate…

This is against the law. The moon goddess forbids someone who has already made will mate because she would place great punishment and curse it.

I could see Alpha Kai stiffening at that. “Don’t.”

Alpha Elijah turned to him, “Don’t what, bastard-“

He wasn’t able to finish that as Alpha Kai’s fists landed on his face, “Don’t you dare touch her!”

He pushed him away and Alpha Kai shifted into his black wolf. He then bit down Alpha Elijah who was fighting back.

“Yes, yes! That is what I want! The Alpha Kai that I know!” Alpha Elijah laughed maniacally as they both fought.
