Mates' Showdown

Kira suggested and I didn't even reject her suggestion as she went to grab a bucket of water I helped her carry it as we walked through the backdoor and towards them.

“Magnus came to ask us for help. There is a war coming. This is what wanted to discuss with you.” I could hear Alpha Ace telling Kai and Kai nodded.

“We’ll talk about it next time.”

It seemed that they were talking so seriously and were in a deep conversation before we even got there.  And upon our arrival, they suddenly stopped They must have not wanted us to hear it.

And alas, with their alpha abilities, their eyes simultaneously turned to us. I could see that Alpha Ace smirked at Kira.

He dropped the axe he was holding as he wiped Kira's cheeks,  “Did you like the view, sweetheart?"

Kira smiled at him, "Definitely." Kira then grabbed water and let him drink it.

"You know we could sense you two watching us and gawking there. " He added, and I acted nonchalantly to Kai but he dropped the axe he was holding and came to me too.

“Hey, you finally befriend each other?” Kai asked.

I nodded and pointed at the sweat on his abs. "You're sweating."

He raised his eyebrows, "Am I? Wipe it off then." Something tells me he has some devious plan and was suggesting another thing to me.

I cleared my throat, almost doing it but then I remembered we are in their presence so I paused, scoffing at him, "Wipe it yourself. I do not have any towel with me."

Kai, for the first time today except when we do our business at the night, smirked at me. "Use your tongue then. What more do you use it for other than licking my whole body?" He whispered it in his deep voice...so low that only I could hear it.

Well, except for Alpha Ace beside us who managed to hear it as he chuckled while Kira looked at him with a confused expression. Good, she must have not heard it.

I almost choked on my saliva, and I was beyond shocked that I am trying hard to regain my confidence again.

I gave him a look, “Kai…” I had to think of a quick retort to this, but he already caught up with it.

“What? It was just a suggestion.”’

Oh, my pride was badly affected. I knew I have to save face when I instantly moved without thinking.

I walked closer to him until we were one inch apart, and I knew that the two lovebirds beside us were watching us as they became quiet.

Kai seemed a bit shocked that I was doing it and I could sense some panic in it, which only urged me to continue. My hands traveled to his abs as I lightly touched them and I could feel him slightly shiver at my touch.

“Arya…” He mumbled, and I didn’t stop, I stick my tongue out at him and playfully glided it on his chest, and he sucked a deep breath.

I caught a taste of his sweat and as much as I would like to regard it as disgusting, in the heat of the moment, all I could think about is how satisfied I am with his ragged breathing. I teased him a bit more as I leaned down and went to one of his abs before pulling back up to lick his collarbone before letting out my warm breath purposely on the back of his ear that seemed to turn red from my actions.

When I was finished, I raised my eyebrows at him and asked in a mocking tone, “There. Done,”  and I could hear Alpha Ace teasing his friend from the back and Kira hyping me up.

He clenched his jaw and whispered to me, “You started this, Arya. Do not blame me for what I’ll do to you tonight.”

I rolled my eyes at that, surprised at how far my ego could get with easing him. I knew I would regret this soon but I do not care, “Then take a bath first. I think you need it.”

“Get a room you two!” Alpha Ace said beside us and Kira added, “Damn girl, and yet you were shocked earlier when you could do this!”

I widened my eyes at her and she just shrugged her shoulders and acted as if nothing happened. Strangely enough, I do not feel one bit embarrassed doing that in front of these two. Ha ha….

Kai’s eyes were calculating and I knew he wanted to get back at me when he said, “Ace, don’t you want to watch something amazing for now?”

Ace nodded, “Yes, mate. What is it?”

“I know you’ve been training your mate….and my mate is strong. Want them to have their training now?” He suggested.

I glared at Kai and he just gave me a deadpan look.

Ace thought about it, “Hmm, how about they have their little sparring and then we’ll bet on who’s going to win.”

No sh*t sherl*ck. This damn alpha just second the motion him! Alpha Zef might not have been around but Alpha Ace made up for it!

Well, I knew I could easily win since I am a werewolf against a human but this is Kira. I do not want to hurt her.

I knew I wasn’t the only one who didn’t want the idea as Kira grabbed her mate’s hand, “Wait that is not fair. I am only a human! And she has experience fighting.” Kira retorted, “Besides, you’ve only trained me sometimes as the rest was in the bedroom.”

Alpha Ace nodded. “That’s the point. I trained you well enough there for you to have strong stamina too.”

Kira crossed her arms in front of her and shook her head.  “No! Ace!”

"My bet is on my mate of course." Said, Alpha Ace.

"I'll bet on Arya." Replied Kai.

I shrugged, sighing, "Guess we'll just need to try it then?"

I turned to Ace angrily, "You brought this to your mate. Don't blame me if I injure her."

"Don't you even dare hurt her?" He said, clenching his hand now but I could an eyebrow at him, "Too late to plead."

"Awe, get easy on me!" Kira asked, clearly scared of me and I nodded. "I'll try."

Kira pouted but just sighed as she started to get in a defensive posture. Alpha Ace was smirking proudly behind her. I didn't bother looking at Kai's expression as I know I will only get annoyed.

I let Kira attack me first and I just dodged all her punches. I only mustered 25% of my abilities so that I wouldn't hurt her.

She punched and kicked and even faked some attacks on me but I just go easy with her. I only managed to scrape her knee and she didn't even manage to lay her hand on me.

Damn this was a bad decision. I have to end this soon. This only makes me look bad. It's like comparing a child with someone that has years of experience.

"So? Is it clear now who won?"

Alpha Ace glared at me, to which I returned with a silly smile. Yep, you deserved it. "Your mate is really feisty, Kai." H said to Kai and Kai only looked at me smugly.

"I won the bet then."

"Good for you." I retorted and then helped Kira up, "I'm sorry. Did I hurt you badly?"

She smiled at me, "It was just a scrape, nothing more." She then accepted my hand, "So? What now?"

I thought about it and sniffed the air. I could hear the dripping sound from the distance. It must not be that far from here but I know it's a river. great.

"Come on, let's wash ourselves up. There's a nearby river."

Her eyes instanlty light up, "Oh finally! I could use some bathing!" She was giddy now, "Is this your way of making up to me?"

I shrugged, "Let's just go."

"Can we come?" Asked Alpha Ace and I shook my head no. He really gets on my nerves. too arrogant. Well,  he's equally arrogant as Kai so I guess birds of the same feather flock together.

"No. I'll cut your balls off the moment I smell your scent!" I yelled after them as I drag Kira with me and Ace just laughed at me while Kai looked a bit...distraught.

Oh well, I do not even want to smell any scent to men now. They just bring out all the anger bottled inside me.
