Alpha Queen Kamilah
Gusev then kneeled as he grabbed Alpha Ace by the cheeks and made him look at him, “Ace, my friend, stay alive, you’re the Lycan king. You have the power with your elders, inform them about this disturbance or else other packs might get extinct. This would create an imbalance.”
I know what he’s trying to do, trying to comfort him but Alpha Ace seemed to not hear him.
As soon as Alpha Ace finished vomiting blood, Maximus shifted into his gray wolf and put Alpha Ace on his back.
I shifted into my brown wolf and let Gusev ride my back.
We instantly broke into a run, faster than ever, as if our lifeline depends on it. It took us an hour before finally reached Alpha Magnus and Alpha Kamilah’s territory.
“And we are here.”
We didn’t waste a second and Gusev turned into a bat as he flew off to inform Alpha Magnus first.
When he returned a few minutes later, he was in the hands of a tall dark, and handsome man. He stood around Kai’s height, which is about 6’3. He had emerald green eyes and hazel hair and he looked at us worriedly. But I looked at his hard-toned body down to his six-pack abs. I am not gonna lie, he is hot.
I bit my lip, knowing I just checked this man out.
The bat on his hand, Gusev, was trying to get out but his hold was tight. “Ah, I wonder what kind of bat flew off in our direction….” He mumbled, then let Gusev go as he transformed back into his human form.
“Ah, what a surprise Gusev.” The man said sarcastically, acting as if he did not just grip him tight earlier.
Gusev was fuming mad as he crossed his arms in front of him, “You always do this!”
The handsome man just ignored his outburst, “You brought company with you. Is that Ace?”
Gusev motioned for us, ”Yes, That is Ace, injured right there and I wanted to inform you to let us in because we need your help. Get your pack doctor.”
Gusev then turned to me, “Everyone, this is Alpha Magnus.”
I nodded at him and his eyes met mine, piercing my dark orbs. He tilted his head as he smelled the air and he furrowed his eyebrows, “What is Alpha Kai’s mate doing with Alpha Ace’s company?”
“Good day, Alpha Magnus, I am Arya,” I introduced myself and started to explain, “And we have just been attacked by the fowlers. We fought them back, Alpha Ace was shot down by their poisoned arrow, and his mate was captured, while I couldn’t hear about Kai…. Gusev helped us, saying you can help us.”
Alpha Magnus nodded, and then shifted his eyes to Maximus beside me and to Alpha Ace who was coughing up some blood again...
I wanted to be patient, and wait patiently, but with the amount of blood filled on the floor, I couldn’t wait anymore, “Please, alpha…the poison has been in Alpha Ace’s body for five hours. He needs to be treated now.”
I am surprised how Alpha Ace is handling the poison much better than Kai….I may have hated Alpha Ace but this is not enough reason for me to let him just die like that. And Kira would be surely mad…Also, having the Lycan king die because of a poisoned arrow hit by a human would cause an uproar and would be a shame...
I wanted to hurry Alpha Magnus up but we were just standing there all relaxed. Just the way he stands holds so much power and intimidates us…
“And? What does it have for me to help him? When this same alpha didn’t help us when we were attacked?” He answered, “Tell me a good reason for me to help him.”
Gusev stepped forward, “Magnus, come on, he’s your old friend. If he dies-”
“If he dies, then it is not my problem anymore.” Alpha Magnus cut his sentence off. “Remember, I am just giving him back what he gave us last time. A cold shoulder.”
I couldn’t help but get angry at the way this Alpha Magnus sounded. He’s a total jerk!
Silence fell, and I could feel that all hope was lost. Time is ticking, this would only make his situation worse! I have to do something!
Just then we sensed another presence arriving, and in the bushes, a tall and beautiful-looking she-wolf appeared.
It’s not just any she-wolf. She looked like a goddess and I felt both intimidated and felt like admiring her.
Her body was fit, her olive skin was smooth and glazed looking under the sun, and the way her sharp features matches well in her face. The way she moved gracefully and full of dignity shows. She’s elegant and strong, I am sure of it.
And most of all, as I could sense the air, she smells like Alpha Magnus. Marked by him already.
And I instantly new it was her. Alpha Magnus’ mate. Alpha Kamilah…
I stood frozen, completely awestruck by her beauty and presence. This is it, I am meeting her!
“What is happening here?” Her sweet voice sounded commanding as she asked her mate, and then glanced at Gusev.
“Gusev, you’re here. I see.” She sounded happy at the sight of him. Gosh, I don’t blame Gusev for falling for an alpha queen like her. She truly is a queen! To think she didn’t even have any guard beside her shows how powerful she is.
“Good day, Kamilah. Your beauty never fades.” Gusev said as he approached her and kissed the back of her hand. I swear I could see Alpha Magnus clenching from it. I suddenly felt happy just seeing him irritated like that. He may be handsome and hot, but not as hot as Kai…plus, he is a total jerk. I hope Alpha Kamilah is not the same as him.
From the way Gusev described him, I knew she would be kind. And if they won’t agree, I will convince them with my story. After all, this would make Alpha Kamilah relate to and pity me.
Gusev glanced at me, making sure I am watching him make his moves and I couldn’t help but smile, waiting for him to win against Alpha Magnus.
“Time may have passed yet you are still the same, naughty and flirty.” Alpha Kamilah chuckled.
Gusev winked at her, which made Alpha Magnus angrier and Alpha Kamilah kissed him on the lips to comfort him. “Awe, are you still jealous of him? Come on, he’s just a friend.”
“Yes, a friend that will steal her away from you if you keep on refusing help to us,” Gusev said, motioning for us.
“Help? What for?” Alpha Kamilah then looked at us then nodded, instantly understanding the situation.
“Never in my life did I think that the Lycan king himself, would ask for help from us.” Alpha Kamilah said, “This is the fowlers’ work, isn’t it?”
