~Amy~
Not much happened for the rest of the day. Mason left the house around 7 p.m., leaving me alone. I sat on my bed and decided to just go to sleep because nothing exciting was going to happen anyway.
I woke up in the middle of the night because the door opened. Not the front door, but my room door. In this stood a drunk Mason. Did I mention alcohol could kill wolves? No? Good, then you know now. I was a little scared he would hurt me, but something inside of me knew he wouldn't.
"Why are you sleeping here?" slurred the drunken wolf in front of me. I ignored what he said and led him out of my room. At that moment, that was probably what was speaking inside me that I didn't know anything about until now. "Where is your room?" I asked him. He wagged his eyebrows and winked at me. I ignored it and he led me up the stairs. As nice as he was then, he gave me a short room tour.
"Here's my study. Oh and there's the bathroom."
I wasn't really listening to him because I was just tired. I probably would have found it funny in some way if I hadn't been annoyed myself. "Can't you just go to your bedroom?" I asked him and again he raised his eyebrows.
"You must be in a hurry. Well, then let's deal with my princess' wishes." he said and turned around on the spot. Natoll and I thought he wanted to take me to his bedroom immediately.
We actually got to his room. Unfortunately, everything was dark, so I couldn't really see much. He got into bed and before I could leave he pulled me onto his bed. "Where are you going?" he asked and lay down on top of me. My inside said nothing more and I felt uncomfortable again. I shouldn't have done that. Anxious, I tried to wriggle under him, but he held me so tight that it was useless. Tears slowly ran down my cheeks. Why was he drinking? And how much anyway?
He started pulling his t-shirt over his head while kissing my jaw. He pressed his lower body against mine. My tears didn't stop and I started to sob louder. I did not want that. At least not yet. The only one I wanted to sleep with was my mate and Mason certainly wasn't. He continued kissing my jaw and now moved further down to my neck. Right where the mate was supposed to bite you, he started sucking. I moved my head and tried to stop him, but I couldn't do anything against him. He looked at his work with a grin and began to take off his trousers. I looked at the ceiling and tried to kick him with my feet. But it didn't help. His hands slipped under my sleep shirt and touched my fresh scar. It sent a shiver down my spine. "Please stop," I whimpered. But Mason didn't think of it. He kissed me and I smelled the alcohol. I got really sick.
But before he could continue, he fell onto the bed next to me and slept like a bear during hibernation. Relieved, I relaxed and let tears flow freely. I slowly got my breathing under control. I stood up slowly and with shaky legs. Mason lay in bed like a baby and slept. If he had been sober, he wouldn't have done this. Thoughtfully, I covered him with the blanket.
Since I was awake now anyway, I went down to the kitchen and got two glasses of water. I drank one and took the other upstairs. On the way I looked for aspirin in the bathroom. I put both on Mason's bedside table. He hadn't wanted it.. I looked into his face again. His features were relaxed and he was breathing calmly. I quietly crept out of the room and lay down in my own bed.
The next morning I woke up to the sun tickling my nose. I stretched and noticed that my back was now completely healed. Satisfied, I took off the bandage in the bathroom and looked at the fresh scar. It was really huge. One day I would get back at that aunt. I looked in the mirror and got a shock at first. Mason gave me a huge hickey last night.
I put on the fresh clothes that Mary had given me and went to the kitchen to get something to eat. I tried to cover my neck with the sweater. Mason had buns on the table and was eating one with jam. "May I as well?" I asked him shyly, because yesterday's action was still deep in my bones. He nodded and pointed to the space across from him.
I gratefully took a seat and cut my roll. Of course, smart as I was, I cut my finger. "Oh crap, are you okay?" he asked holding my hand. Immediately my skin started to tingle under his touch and I pulled it away from him. "It's okay," I mumbled, taking my hand in my other.
At that point I forgot to cover my hickey and Mason had a clear view.
"Who was that?" he growled and you could tell from his voice that his wolf was pretty close to the surface. Confused, I ignored him and finished my bread. "I asked who that was?" he cried now angrily. Startled by his tone, I winced and crouched down.
"You" I answered in a whisper and continued to eat. My eyes glazed over and I couldn't look at him. Mason got up immediately and went into the living room. There he got something and ran outside. All I could hear was the front door slamming. Sadly, I sat there and ate my no longer tasty tasting roll.
I cleared the dining table and then went into the living room. I wanted to go home.
At half past one Mason came back. He seemed somehow different than before. "Can we go to your mother's?" I asked him and waited for an answer from him. "Why?" he asked me. "I wanted to thank her before I go any further." I meant. Mason nodded. We went outside through the large entrance area and walked towards a large house together. Mason just walked in and I followed him.
"Mom, Dad?" he called and only got a growl from the kitchen as an answer. I ran after him quickly.
In the kitchen, Mary and Peter sat at the kitchen table and ate. Next to them was a girl who must have been about my age.
"Amy. What are you doing here?" asked Mary first and came to me. "I wanted to thank you for letting me be here. But I have to keep going, otherwise my pack will find me one day," I said. "Too bad. We would have liked to have you here. Hopefully you will find a new pack" she said sadly. She sounded really sad, like she wanted me to stay here forever.
"Amy. We got off to a bad start, but it would be a real shame if you left." said Peter and got up as well.
Peter didn't want me to go?
