~Amy~
After a good night's sleep, I stretched and got up. I slowly rubbed my eyes and made my bed. I would like to have a little longer...
Wait.. my bed?! I couldn't remember ever being in my bed in the last 12 hours. I fell asleep on the couch. Not in my bed. I quickly looked down to make sure I was wearing the same thing. Luckily that was exactly the case and I was able to calm down. I walked barefoot into the bathroom and jumped in the shower.
The water trickled down my body and on the fresh scar, it burned a little. I stroked the huge, oval, soft skin very slowly and winced a little. I lathered myself up with the new rose shampoo and let myself be sprinkled a little before I got out of the shower.
Stupidly, I forgot my clothes in my room. So I wrapped a long towel around my body and opened the door to my room. Immediately my leg and arm hair stood up and I got goosebumps. In my room, I sprinted as fast as I could to my closet, where I looked for some things and ran back to the bathroom.
The warm water vapor, with a note of roses, enveloped me again and the feeling of cold was gone.
I changed into my clean clothes and after doing my hair, went to the kitchen to have breakfast.
At the table, like every morning, I joined Mason, who this time was eating a sandwich with jam. "Morning," I mumbled and smeared one too. Again nothing came from him. I thought we were done with ignoring, I thought annoyed. I guess it wasn't like that. Which is why I just went along with it and said nothing. Talking to a wall was too stupid for me, too.
After breakfast, which was monotonous, Mason left the house and I was alone again. I should definitely get a job. Out of curiosity, I checked my old Insta account again. Josie had written to me again.
It's probably better that way.
We'll see each other again sometime. The world is too small to avoid each other
ok, help? Josie definitely had mood swings.
I just left her answer and swiped to my second account. My old pack has 35 new members. I'd seen one before, coming out of the Alpha's house.
"Amy?" someone gasped and knocked madly on the window pane. I had half a heart attack and opened the glass door to let Faye in.
"So, where do you come from?" I asked her giggling. "That's not funny. We have a problem, come with me" she said and pulled me out of the house. I was able to grab my keys and cell phone before the door closed behind me.
"What's up?" I asked her again. But Faye didn't respond. Not a bit. "Faye, I won't go any further if you don't tell me what's going on right away," I said and stopped. I know this is pretty childish, but in this situation, I wanted to know exactly what was happening.
"Mason is loose. Now come on" she said and pulled me to her house. What about Mason? And why exactly should I come? It all seemed pretty bizarre.
Faye pulled me into the house and put me on the sofa. "Stay seated" she ordered me and left again. Mary came in through another door with Peter. "Amy. That probably seems pretty weird to you now" Yes, definitely. Neither does who? You're sitting alone in the house, a gasping Faye brings you into her house and now I'm sitting here on the sofa where we watched TV 2 days ago.
"We have to tell you something that we probably should have said a long time ago." Peter began and sat down next to me. Mary did the same and occupied the other side. They both took a hand from me and I had to choose who to look at. "So Amy..." Mary started and took a deep breath.
"My parents are the alphas of this pack. They probably hadn't told you that before, right? I'm going to be the next alpha." Mason interrupted Mary and Peter. They both looked confused at their son and I had to realize what Mason had just said to me.
"And what does that have to do with me?" I asked uncertainly. That's why Faye didn't have to run and drag me here. "I'm 18 years old and when I've found my Luna, I'll take over the pack and so that you won't be surprised if you find out now." Mason said quickly, glaring at me. no not me His parents.
I looked at both of them confused, but they seemed to be exchanging something about Mind Link themselves. Mind link was something like WhatsApp in the head. Since I hadn't transformed yet, I couldn't access it yet, but I'd like to know what exactly they were talking about. Mason's eyes shone with pure anger. Mary and Peter glared back with equal anger until Mason turned and left. He practically stomped out of the house and transformed outside. You could only see him running into the forest.
"We're sorry we didn't tell you that right away." Mary said, but something told me they didn't want to tell me that. Nevertheless, I nodded and then made my way back. What should I actually call the house? At home? Rather not. Mason's house fits better. Or my free pension. No, that's terrible.
Once there, I unlocked the door and was instantly overcome by a smell. He looked very familiar and I wanted to leave.
"Oh Amy. I wanted to introduce you to a good friend of mine. Luis this is Amy, Amy Luis." Luis grinned at me and I got scared. sheer fear. I stared hypnotized at the tall man in front of me. It was still so huge that it could be compared to a coast redwood. Next to him, Mason looked like a dwarf. Okay, that's definitely an exaggeration. Mason would be a normal tree and I would be the dwarf.
"Hi Amy" Luis said. I was still looking at him. If I could, I would attack him right now. However, that would be suicide for me. what did he mean hi amy? Should we pretend we don't know each other? Still anxious, I looked at Mason, who was watching everything confused.
