~Amy~
I turned on the spot, my back to Mason and Luis. "Amy wait, where are you going? We haven't seen each other in a while. How are you?" Luis asked me, still grinning furtively. I only saw that because my gaze wandered back again at his words.
"Whatever you want from me. My new life is none of your business and I don't care if you were ever my alpha," I hissed and walked out of the house.
I headed for a very specific house and rang the bell. Immediately the old man opened the door and all the dams fell on me. "He's here," I breathed against my wall of tears. My old alpha hugged me tightly and walked me over to his sofa. He put me down there and went into the kitchen. I just sat on the sofa and let the tears flow.
"Hot chocolate?" Donald asked me affectionately. I looked up and saw him holding two cups of cocoa. I nodded and took a cup from his hand.
"And now tell me what exactly happened," he said and sat down next to me. I told him I went to Mason and there he was. Also what he said and what I thought. Donald listened to me carefully the whole time. I hadn't even touched my cocoa and now it was a little cold again.
"Let's go to him together. He's not your alpha anymore, this is Peter." he said and got up with his empty cup. I, with my full one, did the same and walked behind him to the kitchen. Donald took my cocoa from me and put it on the sink.
"And now let's talk to him first" he said. I nodded a little and ran after him. A little excited because I didn't know exactly what he wanted to talk about, I started biting my fingernail.
"Will you open the door?" Donald asked and I nodded. I lingered for a moment before taking a deep breath and unlocking the door. "Hello?" I called. No Answer. Donald closed the door behind me and we went into the living room where Luis was sitting on the sofa. And exactly in the corner where I had been sitting for the last few days. I growled softly. Donald also seemed tense at the sight of Luis.
"We haven't seen each other for a long time." Luis grinned. Donald growled softly and locked eyes with him. Mason came out of the bathroom and looked around in confusion.
"What exactly is going on here?" asked he. His gaze lingered on me and I quickly looked down at the floor. He probably saw my tears. He looked at everyone else in the room in confusion. "My nephew can tell you that" Donald said and calmly sat down in front of Luis.
"This is the old alpha of our pack. My uncle, who gave me his job when I found Josie because he has no other relatives apart from me. After that he ran away." Luis explained and raised an eyebrow provocatively. "I don't want to know what you did to my pack." growled Donald softly.
"I didn't do anything. It's all your fault that they couldn't stand Amy." Luis hypocritically said. I seethed with anger. How dare he! Donald certainly wasn't to blame for Luis banishing me from the pack. "But now that we're here, we might as well make it short, wouldn't we Amy?" Luis said and got up. Luis came towards me with quick steps until he was less than 2 meters away from me.
"Leave me alone Luis. I did what you asked of me. My parents rejected me, I no longer have contact with Josie. The only one I have is Donald." I whimpered and made myself small. I submitted to him, like every time. I was afraid. Fear that he would kill me. If he could, he certainly did. "That's exactly why we're going to keep this short. Also, I can vaguely recall saying that if you're seen again, anywhere, you'll be killed." With every step Luis took, I took one back. However, his were almost twice the size of mine.
If Mason hadn't intervened at that moment, things would have looked bad to me. "Amy doesn't get killed in my area." he growled. "Then just in another" said Luis and before I knew it I was between the teeth of a wolf. He had transformed in a flash and I saw brown paws. His fangs dug into my flesh and the more I twisted, the harder he bit. I cried out in pain and my tears came back. "Let her go!" exclaimed Mason. Luis ran towards the door and I could only feel my legs against the door. Since I was vertical in his mouth, my legs slammed straight into the window and I cried out again. That was probably enough for Donald, too. Both transformed and ran after us. The tears of pain never blurred my vision. Still, I could make out Mason and Donald running after them. We walked out of the little village and straight into the forest. I wanted to contract in pain, but the wolf wouldn't let me. His teeth dug deeper into my flesh and I cried out a second time. When I looked back again, I saw not only the two black wolves but also many others that looked like Peter's pack. His teeth dug deeper into my flesh and I cried out a second time. When I looked back again, I saw not only the two black wolves but also many others that looked like Peter's pack. His teeth dug deeper into my flesh and I cried out a second time. When I looked back again, I saw not only the two black wolves but also many others that looked like Peter's pack.
We were getting closer and closer to the border and I could already smell it. Desperation spread through me and I got even more scared. I still hadn't found my soulmate, and neither had my real parents. Dying now wouldn't be fair, would it? Luis ran faster and faster the closer we got to the border. However, apart from the border, I could also make out another smell. It smelled like more wolves, as if they were already waiting for us. My heart was pounding in my throat.
Luis just kept running. Was it our old pack? Then that was definitely my end. He took a running start and jumped over the border. He let me down in a clearing. "Now we're going to do the world a favor," Luis said, putting his paws on my chest. Around the clearing I saw a few dark shadows that didn't seem to bother Luis. I gasped under his paws. Before my eyes, the dots were already beginning to waltz. I could slowly hear the music.
Then I should probably say goodbye.
Josie, you really were the best friend anyone could have, even though I don't like you as much now as I did before. You will always have a small part in my heart, although in yours I was probably banished by Luis.
Donald. You were the very best alpha I've ever had. Almost like my non-existent grandpa. I could talk to you about anything.
I didn't have to divorce my parents. They weren't really my parents anyway and they gave me the scar on my back.
Mary. You are the very best Luna I have ever seen, you are so incredibly smart, kindhearted and just too good for the world. I will definitely miss you.
Peter. We may have had a confusing start, but thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me into your pack.
Mason. We also got off to a bad start and I'm not sure what to think of you yet. Sometimes you're totally dismissive of me and sometimes we could also be good friends. I kind of like you, I don't know exactly how, but there's something. However, I'm glad I can't feel it now, I can't put myself between you and your mate. If I were yours, you would have mentioned it. By the way, I like your eyes. They are so beautifully blue.
faye You have become so important to me in this short time. You are more than just my girlfriend. You're almost like my best friend. No, my sister. I will definitely miss you the most. Stay the way you are. Don't change yourself just to please others. With your wonderful pushy nature you are just perfect. I would have loved to have met your mate too. He's definitely the quiet type. Or just like you. I already miss you. Don't forget me Faye.
After that I was gone. It was like being sucked into a black hole.
