~Amy~
In the next moment there was a knock on the door. Mason jumped up and opened it. We all couldn't believe our eyes. It was an abnormally pretty girl. She had long brown hair that hung slightly in waves over her shoulders. In her round face, her perfect lips stood out through the red lipstick. Her even more perfectly plucked eyebrows over the hazel eyes made the picture even more perfect than it already was.
Everything inside me growled and I wanted to rip her head off.
"Mom, Dad. I know this is really bad timing, but this is Felicitas. She's my mate." Mason said, ignoring my searching eye contact. I started shaking and tried to stop it. Terrified, Peter dropped a glass and Faye and Mary could only see the transparent liquid on the floor. They both jumped up and got a rag to wipe up the water. I jumped up and picked up the shards. Mary took it out of my hand and carried it away. I was somehow out of place next to them and looked between Peter, Mason and Felicitas.
"No" mumbled Peter. I knew things were going to escalate here and took quick steps towards the door. "Amy," Mason mumbled, but I didn't even look at him with my ass. I would definitely bring my stuff here.
When Peter threw his glass around, I realized everyone knew. Everyone in that family knew that I was actually his mate. Mary and Peter wanted to tell me. Before my birthday.
The only thing that could cheer me up now would be my wolf form. Then I wouldn't feel so weak. I sat down on the steps on the porch. I couldn't be in the same room with him any longer. Suddenly a girl came up to me. "Hiiiii" she exclaimed and giggled. The girl sat down next to me and kept giggling. "Hi" I said softly. "Ooh, I'm Elizabeth. I don't care if I call me Lizzy or Liz or Eli. That's what everyone calls me here, but you can also choose something new," the little girl continued to giggle. Cute how excited she was to see me. "Okay Liz. I'm Amy" the girl giggled again. "I've known that for a long time. You're a bit of a celebrity around here. Everyone in the pack was praying for you to wake up. So that Mason could have a Luna.
"Mason did something really bad. I still have to think about it," I tried to explain to the girl. "That's mean. He shouldn't harm such a beautiful Luna," she murmured. "Come on, let's take a little walk. Maybe then we'll think differently." I meant. But Liz shook her head. "I have to go to my mom. But maybe another time." I nodded and smiled at her as she turned and jumped across the paths. I sighed loudly and ran into the woods next to the house. I stopped at a good tree and climbed up. I swung from one branch to the next until I was in front of the Alpha's large living room window.
Honestly? It looked terrible. Two black wolves faced each other and bared their teeth. The living room was devastated. The couch knocked over, books ripped off the shelf and in the middle the two wolves. Across from me I saw Faye, Mary and that Felicitas whose neck I would still wring. Mason now walked towards the big wolf and tried to bite him. With every yelp from him, everything in me contracted. Tears ran down my cheek. I couldn't watch this any longer. With a big leap I jumped onto the fence and balanced to the end. From there I jumped down again and landed on my feet.
"Stop!" I called into the room and both wolves looked at me. Peter got even more angry at the sight of me and started to attack Mason again. "Tell me, what's the matter with you?" I let out an annoyed scream. "Can you guys behave yourself?" My head was rattling like crazy and I was about to fall over. Maybe I should have stayed longer. "If it's that important to you to be with someone who isn't your mate. Please. But then I won't live here anymore because I couldn't bear to see you two like that." I pointed to Felicitas and to Mason. I really didn't want to leave here, but if Mason would rather have a girlfriend other than me, let him be happy. It's not worth fighting anymore. Mary looked at me sadly and Faye was just about to contradict me when I started to speak again. "Mason, the choice is yours. Should I go or not?" my voice had grown quieter and more pleading. That wasn't my goal. I took a few steps back as Mason approached me. I didn't want to be influenced by him. Peter had transformed back and was now sitting on the floor. Everyone in the room seemed to be holding their breath. Everyone except Mason and me. My heart was pounding in my throat and my headache was threatening to faint. I broke light eye contact with Mason and held my head. It hurt so bad. I gasped and was dragged to the ground by an unknown force. Mason immediately transformed back. In a few steps Faye was with me and sat down in front of me.
Mason wanted to do the same, but Peter wouldn't let him. He pulled him away from me, causing not only my head to hurt but also my heart. I tried to collect myself and looked down at my hands. On my wrist, a black tattoo appeared. It showed a girl and a wolf. Both stood head to head, back to back, together. It hurt too. My whole body started shaking and I was doubled over in pain. I could hear my bones cracking. Was that my transformation? My legs became shorter and my knee slowly receded. My arms, on the other hand, grew a little longer. Dark fur grew on my hands. It wasn't black, more grey. But in between grew sandy-colored hair. The color split on my arms. From the elbow it finally turned sand-colored. I gasped out loud again. My spine buckled and then everything went back to normal. Well, except for the fact that I was now standing in the living room of the Alpha family as a sandy-colored wolf.
