~Aurelia Williams~
"Sleep with me!"
"What?" Steven asked, immediately stopping all interaction and staring at me in shock.
"I know you want it."
"You don't know how much." He started kissing my lips again and I reached down to his pants to unbuckle his belt, moaning into the kiss.
I want it...at least I think so.
Then he stopped kissing again.
"No, Aurelia! I can't. I'd love to, but I think you've been drinking too much." He then said decisively and pulled away from me. "You have no idea what strength that requires of me on a full moon."
He got up and was about to re-tie his belt. But suddenly the door flew off its hinges and an angry Alpha burst into the room.
His gaze slid over the half-naked Steven, over to me. I was still wearing nothing more than my panties and lay on the bed like on a salver.
His eyes turned red. He looked menacingly at me and then back at Steven before starting to growl. Loud. Louder than ever before, you could have imagined the whole room shaking under his growl.
His fingers shot out his wolf claws and his hands were covered with black fur. He menacingly approached Steven and then threw him against the wall. Steven left a hole and then slid to the ground.
"YOU ARE DEAD!" the alpha roared between growls. And dammit, I bought it right away.
He was about to swing out his wolf paw and deliver a killing blow when Inala burst into the room.
"Vampires!" she screamed.
The Alpha immediately stopped and now glared at Inala angrily.
"What?" he asked again.
"Vampires on our northern territory. Costa has already advanced with the warriors. They are waiting for you."
"FUCK," he roared angrily. "If I come back, you're dead, little wolf." He threatened again before finally jogging out of the room.
"Vampires?" I asked, also shocked.
"Already forgotten? I should provide a distraction. But you should hurry before he realizes I lied." Inala said.
I was so thankful for her distraction. She acted so well that even I bought it from her.
I quickly ran to the dressing room and quickly took out a pair of jeans, a black T-shirt and a dark blue sweat jacket, which I then put on.
Then I ran to Steven, who had now stood up again and was holding his head.
"Are you alright?" I asked worried, then looked at the hole in the wall.
"Yes, I am a werewolf. I can take more than normal people." He gave me an encouraging smile. "Come on, we really should go now."
After Steven put his shirt back on, the three of us went to Steven's jeep. When I got there, I hugged Inala tightly again.
"Thanks for everything," I said.
"I liked doing it," she replied.
Then I broke away from her and gave her a grateful smile. She had done so incredibly much for us, I can't be more grateful. Finally I have the chance to start a new life. Far away from here and with the most important person to me.
"Aurelia, come on!" Steven ordered.
"I wish you all the best," Inala called after me as I got into the car and slammed the door.
Steven started the engine and pulled out. Then we set off at a fast pace, away from here. Inala was getting smaller and smaller in the rearview mirror.
I was very grateful to her for her help. It wasn't a given that she would help us and betray her alpha, but without her Steven would probably be dead by now. Because I was way too shocked at that moment. Fortunately, this shock took the effect of the alcohol. Maybe it was just the adrenaline. Doesn't matter now, at least I feel a little clearer now.
I looked at Steven and smiled at him. As always when he was driving, he was totally fixated on the road in front of us and pressed his lips together.
"Seems like we're both on the run now," he said, trying to make a joke out of it.
But I could imagine how it pained him to leave home and with him, his family.
"So where are you going now?" I asked.
"I think where the path takes us."
Well then, new life here we come!
