~Arsen Storm~
I was sitting in my office alone with my thoughts. Hands over my face while trying not to despair inside. But that's exactly what I did.
I despaired. I sent out wolves last night to look for Aurelia and Steven. I myself tried to track them all night. But all I smelled was exhaust fumes and these mixed with others as I reached a major country road.
she was gone
I had to find her. If Alpha Black really did tell the Elders about her without me being able to explain it to them, they would be looking for her too. And if I didn't find her first, they would kill her.
"FUUUCK," I yelled desperately. How could it have come to this? Why didn't I tell her earlier what she means to me. Of course I didn't want her at first, but now I don't have her just as people anymore I also met the person behind the beautiful face. We may not have spent much time together but I'm sure there is more to her than that.
And now? It's too late now.
Suddenly there was a knock on the office door.
"WHAT?" I yelled tensely. Everything was getting on my nerves right now. Especially when it wasn't about someone finding Aurelia.
Costa entered, followed by a young man with curly brown hair and blue eyes. However, I have never seen him before or I don't remember him.
I looked at them both confused. Why was a wolf from another pack here?
"There's a wolf from the Blackshadow pack who wants to talk to you," Costa said, avoiding my tense gaze. Even he didn't know how to calm me down.
"If he doesn't know where Aurelia is, I don't want to know about him."
"Well, Alpha Storm," the man began. "I think the information I have will interest you."
I nodded my head and Costa closed the door. Alas, it is not important.
"So?" I asked annoyed.
"My name is Theodore Green, as I just mentioned, I'm from the Blackshadow pack."
"And?" What do I care who he is or where he's from?
"I'm Savanna's mate," he said, and I immediately pricked up my ears.
He then continued: "I met Savanna at the full moon 2 months ago and spent the night with her. Yesterday I went to the ball to see her again and found out that she is pregnant. At that time we were so dizzy from the full moon that we did it as wolves in the forest and had unprotected sex with it. Unfortunately she ran away right after that and I couldn't find her anymore."
I leaned forward on my desk and looked into his eyes. I realized he had to tell the truth.
Hard to believe... But didn't Savanna come to see me that same night?
"May I ask what month it's coming?" Theodore asked.
"She's now in her third month," I stated.
I kept thinking to myself. Savannah and I slept together that night, but I used a condom, unlike Theodore, as I always did when sleeping with other wolves, moonlit or not.
Wait, does that mean Theodore is actually the father?
Holy full moon. Even if I felt disgusted because I fucked Savanna shortly after Theodore. But fuck it. Savanna is not pregnant with my puppy at all!
"Savanna isn't pregnant by me at all!" I stated with relief. I could have kissed the young man's shoes for the sheer joy. But I'm an alpha. I don't do that.
"Well, I don't know what you two have together..." He growled a little unhappily. "...but I would like to ask if I could take Savanna and my pup with me into my pack. So be it because they really plan to make her Luna of this pack. Because then of course I would want to fight for her. No matter what the cost."
I shuddered at the thought that someone would willingly die for her. I was beyond grateful that problem 'Savanna' was now in the past. Now I could concentrate on my mate alone.
"I grant you your request," I said. I then connected to Savanna via the Mindlink. "Savanna, I'll expect you in my office in a moment!"
Anger welled up inside me when I realized she lied to me from the start. She just wanted to plant a child on me that wasn't even mine. In addition, it could have been the next alpha, even though it wouldn't even have alpha blood in it. All these things made me even more mad. My mate is sad because of her. I'm not with her now because of her. Because she tried to be Luna. Maybe I should rip her head off instead of letting her go.
No matter how good I thought my plan was, I discarded it again because the innocent puppy in her abdomen couldn't help her actions.
A few minutes later, Savanna entered cheerfully. But when her eyes fell on her mate, she stopped laughing. Funny. Whenever I think of Aurelia, if I didn't control myself well enough, I could wear a permanent grin on my face.
"Theodore?" she asked, slightly shocked.
However, Theodore just gave her a big smile.
"So, nice that we can clear that up now," I began my speech, "Savanna, since you lied to me, your alpha, about your puppy's father, I'll release you from my pack with immediate effect and hand you over your mate's pack, the Blackshadow pack. I'll leave all further decisions about you to Alpha Hayden Black, your new Alpha."
Savanna just looked at me in disbelief.
"Baby please?" she tried and both Theodore and I started to growl.
"Still alpha for you," I growled at her angrily. Her mate then stepped protectively in front of her, but I could do that in a blink of an eye.
"Now I advise you to pack your things and then leave my pack!" I growled. The sooner she was gone, the better.
"Of course Alpha," Savanna said after hearing the seriousness in my voice. At least she was smart enough to know she had no other options.
After the two left my office, Costa gave me a puzzled look.
"Seems you haven't gotten a successor yet, after all," he said.
"Honestly? I'm relieved it's not mine. Now all I have to do is find Aurelia and tell her the whole truth." I ran a hand through my hair in desperation.
"We'll find them Arsenic," my beta encouraged.
"I hope so." I really hope so. My life wouldn't be worth living without her. She's the only woman in this world I want.
"Well, I have one more thing I need to tell you."
My head suddenly turned to Costa. What's up now?
"What?" I replied hopefully.
"The wolves sent out searching for Aurelia have picked up a scent."
