Wedding Day
Astrid's Point of View
"Are you ready? Trisha?" I finally was able to wear the new wedding dress that Margaux had made for me after I had lost a lot of weight since the previous time I had terrible hallucinations and was in a deep coma after one of those. Margaux had prepared the dress for me after that incident happened when I try to fit the previous dress that we made. The only thing I did was nod, and Margaux immediately started applying makeup to my face. First with my eyes, then with my lips.
"Trisha, you have such a perfect shape. I can't tell you how pleased it makes me see you wearing that stunning dress." Margaux was styling and combing my hair as she proceeded. as we are both staring at ourselves in the mirror simultaneously. For the first first time in my life, I find that I can't help but smile. Now is the time for my wedding, which I will be attending with my new family.
"Do you think I've lost my mind, Margaux? Because I recall that when we first met, I had just been running around in this region, and I didn't realize that the person I was running into would be my sister until after we had already spoken."
"Trisha, you're not imagining things. I can already hear the wedding bells from here. Everyone is currently waiting for you to arrive at the chapel.
"I couldn't be happier that our objectives are getting closer to being realized. If I am successful in becoming the luna and gaining power, I will track down Elijah and bring him to you, Margaux."
I reached out and gently touched her hand, at which point she broke into a broad grin and took a long breath.
"I'll track him down for you, Margaux; don't worry about it. We would be the rulers of this pack. You and I together."
"Are you sure, Trisha? Would you do it for me, yes by all means?"
"Of course, I will do it. We’re sisters, right? "
After that, she gave me a hug, and I gave one right back to her. Even though I wasn't sure why I was able to say these things to Margaux, the fact that I was able to say them felt very strange to me. Astrid, who is known for her hostility and rage, does not have this personality trait at all.
When I went through with the name change, it not only impacted me but also my family and my identity. It appears that Astrid's entire demeanor has changed in a way that is incomprehensible to me. I started getting really worried about Margaux and the rest of the Deveraugh clan. I have no idea if it is because they are essential to the accomplishment of the objectives I have set for this pack or whether it is anything genuine. At this point, I do not have any idea.
Peter knocked on the dressing room door and then said
"Let's go, and we'll be late," Margaux and I said, looking at each other.
"It's time now, Trisha." She whispered, then she escorted me with the help of our laborers to bring my set of clothes because, after this wedding, I'll be sleeping next to Zach Montreal. I'll be residing in their mansion, and now I'll be living my ambition as a luna of the Crimson Moon Pack.
After that, Peter opened the door for me, which rendered me unable to utter a sound.
"Come on, young lady, hurry up and enter the vehicle. We're going to be late." I let out a chuckle and clapped my hands on his shoulders.
"Thank you very much, Peter; after I start living at the Montreal residence, I'm going to miss seeing you every day."
"Trisha, it's alright, I'll miss you too; just don't mess things up for us, please. I have not stopped keeping an eye on you."
"As you should Peter, I'll do my best..."
After he gave me a kind embrace and smiled at me, I walked inside the vehicle to wait for him. My chest was heaving so hard, and I was getting a terrible feeling about what would take place if I messed up during the wedding. There were a lot of people outside of their dwellings along the streets checking on us, a lot of members of the Crimson Army were marching, and some of them were riding on their horses to protect the vehicle that I was in.
After what seemed like an eternity, I suddenly woke up and realized that I had just been fantasizing about this until just now. After some time had passed, I realized that every sacrifice I had made had been worthwhile.
When we arrived at the church, everyone's attention was immediately on me. The crowd was chanting, and the number of guests who came to my wedding took me by surprise. I had not expected such a large turnout. Outside, there are live bands, and everyone is clapping and rooting for me at my wedding. But as I was thinking about it, a recollection from when I was a teen popped into my thoughts. Alex and I were strolling through the woods together.
"Did I just see him just now?" I couldn't help but say something to myself while my eyes welled up with tears as I tried to comprehend how it was possible for me to see him despite the sea of people that had to be pushed aside by the guards so that I could enter the church.
"You're so beautiful, Trisha,"
"That's our future Luna!"
I heard a lot of chants and praises outside the church's gates, and now that I'm inside those gates, I'm hearing a lot of cheers and blessings again. When the massive gates were finally opened, I took my time entering the building and stepping onto the lengthy red carpet before I finally started walking down the aisle. The stunning quality of the furnishings completely blew my mind. Then, from a distance, I could clearly see Zach standing there, waiting for me, and Alpha Gregory was standing next to him.
When I got to the altar, I looked over and saw Zach looking happy at me. He then put his hand on my shoulder.
"My darling, this is it. My most awaited day. "
But when I tried to respond, I didn't see anything at all. The darkness completely obscured my view. I could only hear voices, and I was screeching at the guests that I was there to tell them that I couldn't see anything.
"Are you okay? Trisha?"
"I'm not seeing anything, where are you, Zach? where are you?"
I started to panic but I felt Zach's presence when he embraced me.
"It's fine darling, I'm here. Let's continue the ceremony, okay?"
I let out a sigh, and all I could do in return was nod. Right at this moment, I've just gone completely blind. Because there was no longer any vision, I can no longer consider these to be hallucinations. I was aware that I had lost my sight.
Yet, something deep within me tries to convince me that this might have something to do with Atasha. It's possible that she initially discovered the church of the witch and learned that she's under a curse from there.
