"Really?" Lin Yi asked in disbelief. "The cup has no problem…. Right?"

"I say, Lin Yi lil bro, aren't you being overly cautious!" Jianwen smiled and shook his head: "But it's okay, if you think that the problem lies in the cup then let's switch our cups. You use mine and I'll use yours? I'll drink your cup of wine too without changing, what do you think?"

"Okay….." Lin Yi stood up and walked towards Jianwen with the cup in his hand when he was at the side of Jianwen, he rested his another hand on Jianwen's shoulder as in like he was unable to stand straight properly, staring at the cup in front of Jianwen for a while, only then he exchanged his cup with Jianwen and returned to his own seat.

"Lin Yi lil bro, what you did, actually hurt my face greatly. As your big brother I have never had the intention of harming you in the slightest, but you doubted me… never mind, let's drink up!" Jianwen gulped down the wine in the next second.

To tell the truth, the wine was actually drugged, but Jianwen had consumed the antidote beforehand, so the knockout drops was ineffective to him.

"It seems like it was my bad this time," Lin Yi laughed at himself and raised his cup of wine but there was something in between his fingers now- it was some kind of a pill that he had found in Jianwen's pocket. The pill was stored in a small bottle in his pocket.

Lin Yi licked the pill between his fingers. Confirming that it was the antidote of the knockout drug, only then he consumed it with the wine.

Clearly, with the antidote in his hand, Lin Yi had saved plenty of energy that would have been expended finding his way around the drug. Worse came to worst, he would have to secretly use his needles while drinking the wine.

Although, he didn't always have the antidote with him, he would never leave the needles aside.

Jianwen smiled secretly when Lin Yi finally gave in to his scheme. You might be cunning but never would you expect me to learn from my mistakes, right? I didn't only put the drugs in your cup but in all of them! The issue here was that I'd taken the antidote beforehand so I wouldn't be affected!

"Lin Yi lil bro, actually your brother, me, is in love of Chu Mengyao. Since you are aware of it, I won't explain so much to you. The point of inviting you today is to get your answer, I just want to make sure of the relationship you and Mengyao share?" No matter how much Jianwen wanted to fuck Lin Yi up, he still wished to know the truth behind their relationship.

"Ha, didn't I tell you before? Just employer and employee," Lin Yi said lightly.

"But, what Yushu said was totally different though…." Jianwen was slightly pissed when Lin Yi denied the claim- Mengyao didn't deny nor confirm their relationship yesterday, that was what troubled Jianwen the most. As far as he was concerned, the relationship between Lin Yi and Mengyao wasn't that simple.

"She always acts like that, didn't you know?" Lin Yi shrugged his shoulder and asked back.

"Really? It seems like Lin Yi lil bro, you are still treating me as an outsider here, why can't you be honest with me!" Jianwen got even irritated when Lin Yi didn't want to admit to anything, "Brother, I ain't no unreasonable person, if you and Mengyao are really a couple and Mengyao is happy and content with that, I'll give you my blessing!"

"Thanks then, at the very least we don't have any impure relationship as of yet. I can't guarantee if we will have one in the future, either," Lin Yi wasn't trying to hide the fact from Jianwen, it wasn't needed anyway.

"Ha, nevermind, drink up!" Jianwen raised his toast.

Lin Yi followed and clinked his cup Jianwen's lightly. Seeing the time was almost up for the effect of the drug to take place, Lin Yi used his hand to cover his forehead, "An bro, there's something wrong with this wine. Why am I feeling dizzy all of a sudden?"

"Impossible, this is the same Lafite we had drunk last night, how is it impossible?" Jianwen was delighted to see the effect taking place- on the outside, he acted like it was absurd, but on the inside, he was over the moon.

Jianwen wanted to point his fingers at Lin Yi and laugh at him out loud. He wanted to make him realise that he had messed with the wrong person, to fight for Mengyao with him?

I shall cut your kidney out, and see if you still have the strength to fight!

However, Jianwen didn't have the balls to do that straight away- he knew Lin Yi's true strength, he was at least a golden class master and was not a person he should mess with unless he was truly vulnerable. Who knew if he would make a sudden outburst at the last second before he lost his consciousness- that would be a great loss to him if that happened.

"But... I'm feeling very light-headed right now…." he fainted the moment he finished his last sentence.

Lin Yi was an expert in medicine so he knew everything about the drug from the top to bottom. At that time, he was supposed to act like an intoxicated person, which of course it wouldn't be hard at all for him. Even Jianwen failed to find any shortcomings with his acting. Furthermore, this drug was placed by Jianwen, so naturally, he wouldn't suspect Lin Yi here in this situation.

Looking at the fainted Lin Yi, Jianwen couldn't be any happier. Hequickly took out his phone and called the tattooed guy who had been waiting outside the room from the beginning.

"Come in, he has lost consciousness, help me get him out!" Jianwen only gave an order and ended the call as soon as he was done.

Not long, the tattooed guy came in, "Wen bro, is it settled?"

"En, done, get him out for me," Jianwen stood up and pointed at Lin Yi who had fainted on the table.

The tattooed guy nodded, and both of them, one on the left, and another on the right, carried Lin Yi out of the room together.

Although, the hotel was filled with customers and waiters, no one noticed Jianwen and the tattooed guy. After all, many came here to drink and of course, there were countless of drunks everyday, some were carried out, some were assisted, some were dragged on the floor, and some were nestled out… no one would notice if Lin Yi was just drunk or actually drugged.

"Lin Yi, you never saw this coming right? Fighting against me? I shall let you have a taste of losing one kidney!" After getting into the car, Jianwen threatened Linyi while glaring daggers at his still body lying on the backseat.

"Wen bro, removing his kidney... it wouldn't bring us any trouble, would it? Since he will surely find out that it's your doing after the event, will he report this to the police?" the tattooed guy couldn't put his mind at ease as he thought about the possibilities of getting caught. After all, Lin Yi knew Jianwen and after losing one of his kidneys- Lin Yi would only suspect Jianwen in this case.

"Nah, he won't. This kid is no good guy himself, he has taken lives like us. I doubt he will report this to the police!" Jianwen didn't believe that Lin Yi would report this event to the police because like what Li Cihua had mentioned, the two golden class masters were both dead under Lin Yi's hand.

"Besides, if he questions me, I'll just say that he was drunk and I left him in the hotel room, as for the culprit, I myself have no idea about it too. Besides, he wouldn't have any evidence to point his finger at us, either!"

The tattooed guy nodded- since Jianwen said that everything was going according to his plan, naturally, he wouldn't comment about it. He started the engine and drove off.

Lin Yi was awake from the beginning and had been listening to Jianwen and the tattooed guy's whole conversation. As expected, Jianwen was indeed connected to the kidney trafficking organization and now he was bringing Lin Yi to their HQ. This had saved Lin Yi plenty of time, getting closer to accomplishing his mission.
