"Where are you, bro?" Jianwen sounded calm. There was no trace of anger in his tone. However, this only made Lin Yi more concerned.

"I'm in school. An bro, are you looking for me?" Lin Yi smiled coldly inside. Jianwen was definitely looking for trouble.

"Hehe, I drank too much yesterday. Please excuse me if I wasn't being myself last night!" Jianwen smiled, "Are you free? Mind grabbing some lunch with me?"

"Now?" Lin Yi asked.

"Yeah, I'm just right in front of the middle school gate. Would you join me for lunch?" Jianwen smiled as he asked.

"Sure, wait for me right there. I'm coming!" Lin Yi couldn't be anymore happier at his invitation. This call had saved him out from his troubles. If only Jianwen wasn't actually holding grudges against him, he would be very grateful for him.

After ended the call, Lin Yi faced to Mengyao and Tang Yin, "I've got something to settle for a while, perhaps you guys can start first?"

"Oh, shield bro. Did you set an alarm beforehand just so you could avoid eating with us?" Yushu asked.

"Ha, it's An Jianwen." Lin Yi had gotten used to Yushu's antics as he replied honestly.

Mengyao didn't say anything since Lin Yi had his own stuff to settle. She, naturally, wouldn't stop him.

"Be careful," she reminded.

Tang Yin, on the other hand, let out a sigh of relief. Lin Yi didn't have to pick either one of them now. In fact, Tang Yin was pretty nervous about it. Mengyao was Lin Yi's boss, after all. If she were to insist and order Lin Yi to sit with them, no matter how depressed Tang Yin would be, she could look at a bigger picture and wouldn't force Lin Yi to be at her side.

Despite that, Tang Yin would still be unhappy at that result. It would feel like she had lost a match to Mengyao. But now that Lin Yi had something to deal with, he didn't have to pick a side and could pretty much make sure this situation didn't happen again.

"It's okay. Go do your job. I'll be fine myself." Tang Yin gave a light smile and forced herself to look happy and proud.

"En, just call me if anything happens." Lin Yi nodded and left the cafeteria swiftly.

"Ordering so much, aren't you just wasting food?" Xinwen looked at Mengyao and glanced at the food on the table. "No one is eating with you guys now. Such a waste!"

"We can eat this ourselves, can't we?" Mengyao faced Yushu, "Shu, both of us will finish all the food here!"

"Oh…. but I'm scared of eating too much now, or else I'll puke like the last time!" Yushu chickened out when she remembered her previous misfortune.

"Fine, I'll eat them all myself!" Mengyao didn't want to lose her dignity in front of Tang Yin and Xinwen. She took the chopsticks and started eating.

Xinwen curled her lips and pulled Tang Yin to the next table along with Xiaobo.

Meanwhile, Xiaobo was watching the drama with an open mouth. It wasn't until Xinwen pulled on him that he said, "Boss….. And them?" He was flabbergasted.

Xiaobo was never told about the complicated relationship of Lin Yi, Mengyao and Yushu before, so he was lost at the moment. Xinwen walked him to the table and explained things to him.

Lin Yi stepped out of school grounds and saw Jianwen's car parked at the side. Jianwen honked twice and stretched his head out of the window, "Lin Yi bro, over here!"

Lin Yi got into the car, and Jianwen pressed on the pedal, "I'm truly sorry about yesterday, I wasn't being myself after drinking too much. Let's go grab something, shall we?"

"Anything" Lin Yi knew Jianwen must be planning something. He could see the flash of hatred in Jianwen's eyes after Yushu's provocation. Lin Yi knew that Jianwen had already classified him as his love rival.

But, Lin Yi was too lazy to explain. He didn't come to talk about this, after all. He was here for Lingshan. He wanted to dig some information out from Jianwen.

Jianwen nodded, "Let's go to Starlight hotel then. Just the two of us. We can have a man to man talk."

On their way to the hotel, Jianwen spoke once in a while, but he never touched on the main subject. Lin Yi nonchalantly replied back as well. Soon, the car was parked at the hotel's carpark, the duo came down from the car, and under Jianwen's guidance, they came to a room, a room smaller than yesterday's.

Evidently, Jianwen had everything planned out beforehand. The wines were already placed on the dining table, and when both of them were seated, the delicacies were immediately brought out.

"Lin Yi Lil bro, I, as the big brother here, will give you a toast as an apology for not behaving well yesterday!" Jianwen raised up his cup and drank down.

Lin Yi didn't raise his cup. Instead, he waited until Jianwen finished his wine as he asked, "An bro, is everything alright?"

"Yes…. but Lin Yi Lil bro, let's drink up, and we'll talk about that later!" Jianwen poured Lin Yi a cup of wine, and poured his cup full: "Come, let's drink!"

Lin Yi nodded and raised his cup, but his jade had a reaction to it instantly, sending him signals of danger.

Lin Yi smiled coldly inside. Jianwen was really plotting something evil, but he wasn't trying to expose him. Nevertheless, he still raised his cup, tasted a little of the wine, put back down the cup, and started thinking of a counter plan.

Jianwen used a pretty common drug in the market. Once the effect of the drug had taken place, the person would experience dizziness and soon lose consciousness.

The strength of the mystic class was not strong enough to force the poison out of the body with their internal forces. Without the help of needles, Lin Yi was certain that he would be unable to remove all the poison out from his system. So naturally, he wouldn't be so stupid to just drink down the whole glass of wine knowing that it was harmful to him.

This drug was very frequently used. Lin Yi, himself, was able to neutralize the effect of the drug with his own antidote. During his old days in Africa's virgin forest, there were a lot of herbs and bugs that had the same effect as this drug. It was dangerous to not bring his antidote around in the old days, but now that he was in the city, those situations didn't exist anymore. Unfortunately, this meant that he did not bring any with him now. He lamented a little for not carrying his antidote with him like he used to.

"What's wrong, Lin Yi Lil bro, can't you just give me some respect and drink the wine?" Jianwen panicked when he saw Lin Yi putting down the cup instead of drinking all down.

"An bro, are you sure the wine is safe to drink?" Lin Yi pretended.

"Ha, what's wrong?" Jianwen paused, but his face remained solemn as he waved his hand: "Didn't I drink this just now? It's from the same bottle, if the wine is not safe to drink, I would be in trouble first, right? Say, I sincerely want to have a proper man's talk with you today. Why would I lie to you?"
