House Yu valued Miracle Doctor Guan Medical Company's products since they knew its effects. The deluxe version of Injury Medicine was easy to use! House Yu smelt a business opportunity and wanted to take over their agency before the company became famous. They won't have to worry about it in the future if it will bring them a great fortune!

From House Yu's perspective, it is a small company despite the good products. They thought that the company must be anxious to launch their new product: If they were working with such a prestigious clan, they would be delighted! They might even give them extra portions of the profits earned!

Yu Kun was so arrogant because of these thoughts. However, Fatty Lai rejected him. and he lost all his dignity! His initial arrogance seemed like a joke!

Fatty Lai never intended to give the authority, and he overthought too much!

"It isn't a decision I can make myself. I said that I'm only a manager," Fatty Lai smiled, "Mr. Yu, what other benefits can you possibly give us other than this?"

Fatty Lai's words sounded like a taunt in Yu Kun's ears. His face flushed with embarrassment and looked at Fatty Lai with hatred, "The remains of the map. Give me a price."

"Sorry, I don't need money. I gave it away to someone else anyway," Fatty Lai shook his head.

"You gave it to someone else? You did?" Yu Kun's good attitude disappeared. He could no longer control his emotions. He was one of the most outstanding students in the third generation of House Yu and he was worshipped whenever he went. He couldn't believe that he didn't get what he wanted here and felt humiliated after losing his patience.

"I bought it with my money. I can't give it to others?" Fatty Lai shrugged.

"Well, very well! Just wait and see!" Yu Kun stood up abruptly and paced out of the client room, "I'll show you the price of offending House Yu!"

"Offending House Yu?" Fatty Lai laughed coldly at the direction Yu Kun left. This is a student of House Yu? What the hell! He spoke kindly and modestly. How had he offended them by declining Yu Kun's overbearing demand?

If House Yu continued like this, they wouldn't survive the third generation.

Perhaps Fatty Lai was scared of House Yu before, and he was afraid that House Yu would stand in the way of his company, but now he followed Lin Yi. Lin Yi felt almighty. If he compared House Yu to Lin Yi, House Yu was nothing!

After Yu Kun left, Fatty Lai immediately called Lin Yi!

"Boss, can you talk right now?" Fatty Lai asked.

"Yes," Lin Yi just arrived at his school, and there was no class today, so no one noticed him picking up a call in the classroom.

"House Yu sent someone over just now," Fatty Lai informed, "A young man called Yu Kun, he's probably just over twenty years old."

"House Yu? Yu Kun? What did they come for?" Lin Yi took a deep breath when he heard the name.

"They wanted to know about the remains of a map that you got at House Yu's auction last time!" Fatty Lai replied, "They asked me if I knew what it was for and whether I've seen anything similar to it…"

"Oh? Don't tell me they intentionally made it an auctioned object?" Lin Yi suddenly remembered the young man who tailed him! That young man wasn't weak and he thought that the man was from House Kang. But when he thought of it again, how did House Kang have such skilled young man? Other than the noble houses, who was capable of commanding a master of gold division around?

Was he from House Yu? Did he follow him for the map as well?

"It is possible," Fatty Lai nodded, "Otherwise he wouldn't want to buy it back from me. If they wanted it, they could've bought it during the auction without going around."

"Ha…" Lin Yi smiled slightly. So the remains of that map were really some treasure, huh? Lin Yi stored it in the drawer without studying it, since he didn't know what it was used for.

Perhaps they knew the secret behind it?

"And what was funny was that this Yu Kun kept mentioning benefits. The so-called benefit was to take the agency authority. It's ridiculous, how is that a benefit to us? Isn't he the one who wants to get money from us?" Fatty Lai scorned.

"If we were just another small company, it could probably be thought of as a benefit," Lin Yi smiled and warned him, "House Yu has many skilled men. Watch out for your own safety. Don't fight them face to face."

"I know. I was neither servile nor overbearing. It was Yu Kun who was too arrogant," Fatty Lai shook his head.

"He left like that? Did he say anything else?" Lin Yi didn't believe that House Yu would stop so easily. If they really targeted the remains of the map, they would most likely act again.

"He told me to wait and see. He'll make me know the price I have to pay for offending them…" Fatty Lai said.

"Ok," Lin Yi's lips curved upwards. House Yu, huh? No matter you are a hidden noble house or an enormous monster, you better not provoke me or you won't end well!

Lin Yi hung up without letting it get to him. Since House Yu wouldn't stop here, he just had to wait for them to find him. He checked the text message on his phone which appeared before the call.

"Daddy is treating you to dinner tonight!"

The message was from Miss. Chu Pengzhan was treating him? Lin Yi wondered why and figured out it was most likely because he saved Chu Mengyao yesterday.

Since Chu Pengzhan invited him, he wouldn't decline the offer. He texted her back, "Understood."

Miss checked the message and never replied again.

Lin Yi felt like her attitude towards him changed after yesterday. She always looked for trouble since she disliked him, but their relationship seemed to ease a little… But, she was still keeping her distance?

The attitude she had towards him was like that of a stranger, unwilling to let him in.

Lin Yi didn't know what his Miss was thinking and in fact, even Chu Mengyao didn't know what she wanted her self. How will she face Lin Yi in the future? Could she let go of the fact that Lin Yi had seen her body? Chu Mengyao suffered from insomnia as she thought of her relationship with Lin Yi for the whole night.
