914 Is it Accidental or Premeditated?

"It's very beautiful…" Tang Yun stared at the engagement ring, the diamond was beyond anything she has ever seen on display shelves. She couldn't help but ask "You… What does this mean?"

"Oh…" Lin Yi pulled out the ring and looked into Tang Yun's eyes "Are you willing to come with me?"

"I… I do!" Tang Yun nodded. She felt as if she had walked into a wedding ceremony as the bride.

Lin Yi held up her hand and slipped the ring on. Their hearts were racing.

His powers were gone, but he was able to bring home a wife. Lin Yi didn't know how Old Lin would react?

The dinner started with a solemn tone but ended with warmth.

Lin Yi had to leave, but that doesn't mean he would leave behind Tang Yun. Because it wouldn't be long before she joined him!

After they had finished dinner, Tang Yun placed the ring back into the box before leaving the room.

"Oh, why aren't you wearing it? Are you going back on your word" Lin Yi joked around.

"Only an idiot will go back on it! I'm afraid of having it stolen. You don't have any power anymore, so I want to remain low-key. I don't want unwanted attention," Tang Yun glanced back. She carefully placed the ring box in a more secluded pocket.

"Oh…" Lin Yi thought to himself. He had found a very understanding girl. She was a keeper, right?

Lin Yi paid for the meal and departed with Tang Yun. Little did he expect that in the parking lot of Starlight Hotel, Li Cihua had been planning a little stunt...

"Manager Zong, thank you so much for your help!" Li Cihua graciously thanked Starlight Hotel's General Manager.

"Ahh, whatever Master Bing needs, how can I not do my best?" Manager Zong smiled at Li Cihua. "It isn't a huge request, it is something I can do within my ability!"

Li Cihua nodded, "Okay Manager Zong. I won't hold you up on your duties, if you don't have anything else to do in this area then you should leave. I don't want anything to get traced back to you,"

"Okay, then I will leave now. I just hope that Brother Cihua doesn't do anything that will attract too much negative attention that will affect business!" Manager Zong voiced his concerns.

"No worries, I will keep that in mind," Li Cihua nodded in agreement.

As Manager Zong left, Li Cihua boarded into a parked Buick Van. The windows all around were all dark-tinted that didn't allow any light in.

In the parking lot, there was also a white Nissan van that was also prepared. It was an older version of a modified van, the type that triads love to drive!

These types of modified vans were low-budget costs. They were perfect for gangsters to jump out to slice and dice the enemy. If they get surrounded by police cars, then they could easily abandon the van since it only cost a few thousand yuan.

As Lin Yi and Tang Yun returned back to the parking lot, they boarded their car. Lin Yi ignited his car, but then the jade pendant vibrated a weak warning!

There was danger, but it wasn't a huge threat that Lin Yi couldn't handle. That was what Lin Yi thought when he got the signal.

Lin Yi surveyed his surroundings, then discovered that the Nissan van that was going to be blocking his car from going in reverse. There were already parked cars from the front and to his side, his only way out was in reverse.

Lin Yi frowned. Which idiot would park in such a precarious place? Could it really be an accident?

Lin Yi honked twice to signal that he wanted to leave, but the people within the Nissan van were ignoring him. They acted like they hadn't heard him.

There was no way about it, Lin Yi got off the car, he went to the driver side of the van and glanced in. One of the bald gangsters was wearing sunglasses while smoking a cigarette. This gangster didn't heed any attention to Lin Yi, he didn't even turn his head.

The jade pendant had sent a warning already. So Lin Yi was already on alert mode, how could situations like this happen? Lin Yi knew that something wasn't right already. According to the policy, the only people that eat these establishments are wealthy socialites. Even if these gangsters were wealthy, they wouldn't go causing trouble without reason, right?

What could these gangsters be plotting?

However, Lin Yi had lost his power, he didn't want to blow his cover. If he could swallow his pride and talk his way out of this, that would be for the best. He knocked onto the tinted window of the van.

"The hell?" the bald gangster rolled down the window to blow smoke to Lin Yi's face.

"I want to leave, can you move your van?" Lin Yi had a gentleman's attitude while he asked. If Lin Yi wanted to eliminate normal people like these, he still had his skills to do so.

Killing people didn't rely on power, it was the technique. However, with so many witnesses present, Lin Yi didn't want to risk it for only a few gangsters. Lin Yi was in a troubling situation.

"Leave? Where do you want to go? I'm waiting for someone!" The bald gangster rudely answered back.

"You can wait for your person, but I have to leave!" Lin Yi didn't want to court trouble, but trouble had arrived at his doorstep!

"I am waiting here. Can't you wait for a while longer?" The bald gangster waved his hand. "You should step away from me!"

"..." Lin Yi frowned. His eyes narrowed as he said "You don't want to do this, I don't want trouble. Don't force my hand,"

Lin Yi wasn't afraid of trouble, but his patience could be worn thin. If someone with evil intentions was watching him, then they will know immediately that Lin Yi had lost his power, so Lin Yi couldn't deviate too much from his original personality.

Even if Lin Yi could hold in his anger, he wanted to leave. But that would mean facing his troubles head-on! It was at this moment that Lin Yi found out how painful it was to actually be powerless.

"What did you say? We aren't moving from here!" the bald gangster barked in reply, then he pulled out the keys from the ignition. Following up, he got out of the car and five other gangsters got out too.

"I'll repeat this again. I don't want to stir up trouble today. Don't force me," Lin Yi calmly replied.

"Then, I will force you. I want to see what you can do to me," the bald gangster ignored Lin Yi's threat. He locked the van and started to leave.

Lin Yi went into action, with fast movement, he was able to strike the neck of the bald gangster. With these techniques, Lin Yi should've been able to knock him unconscious.

This was when Lin Yi discovered something odd. The bald gangster was beyond the average person; he was more agile. Right as Lin Yi was about to strike the bald gangster, he missed. The bald gangster had dodged the attack and calmly looked at Lin Yi "So you want to fight? I guess you don't want to live?"
