931 Unexpected Visitor

"Fuu…" Lin Yi let loose an exhale upon leaving the villa. Guan Xiaoxiang's sudden interruption did sort of solve the problem for him, otherwise, he wouldn't know how to respond with an answer.

Even though he would miss Guan Xin—this girl had left a deep impression in his heart. But Lin Yi couldn't stay. There was no other reason: he had to find a way to regain his strength.

Xuemin's words were right. He may have lost his fighting ability, but his medicine skills were still there. He could very well achieve a high position with that alone. Although to Lin Yi, medicinal skills were just a support utility. Having strength was the most stable asset.

What Pengzhan didn't expect was for two more uninvited guests to appear at his office right before he was getting off work at dusk!

The employees had all more or less left, except for Chu Pengzhan. He gritted his teeth and made an extremely difficult decision, and that was to say yes to the Xiaos and to Qibin's demand as well.

He wouldn't be able to realistically fulfill the entirety of House Xiao's demands, but he would be able to give out the shopping center and the hotel. As for the two hundred million funds, Pengzhan wasn't thinking of giving that out at all. He was a smart person himself, and he could tell from the Xiao brothers' tone that this price was negotiable.

Qibin, on the other hand, wasn't willing to give negotiations. He'd asked for the biggest and most valuable company Pengzhan had right from the get-go! The real estate company itself wasn't worthy of much, but he few pieces of land in its grasp was, along with many top quality villas worth a few dozen million each.

But Pengzhan knew that this was what the opponent wanted—he had no choice but to fulfill it.

His only hope now was that the Xiaos and Qibin would leave him alone after he'd given them these many benefits! Pengzhan Industries wouldn't have much left, but it'd be enough for it to barely get by and go on with business.

But, just as Pengzhan had made the decision, his office doors opened once more.

He'd already gotten used to the invaders today—from Zhizun at the start of the day, to the Xiaos, to Cihua and Yao Wang, and now these two.

"Yu Haitian?" Pengzhan knew one of the visitors. He knew that he was the one in charge of House Yu's business, but didn't know who the other middle-aged man was.

"Not bad, Chairman Chu! You know who I am!" Yu Haitian laughed, but his gaze told him that this was someone who saw himself as a superior being. He may be a businessman, but he was a businessman managing House Yu's business—he was levels above Pengzhan's.

Pengzhan's face hardened at the hostile visitors. The sudden appearance of House Yu gave him a very ominous feeling. Were they here to cause trouble as well?

One couldn't blame Pengzhan for thinking that way. After all, two groups had already come to him to do exactly that. Back in the villa, Lin Yi and General Wei Wu had also gotten into conflict with Yu Kun, crippling him. It wasn't a surprise that the Yu's would come.

"And may I ask why Mister Yu's made this visit…" Pengzhan hadn't finished speaking when the man with Haitian spoke up.

"So you're Chu Pengzhan? You're quite the bold one, aren't you, giving birth to a daughter like that, ordering the destruction of my son!" Yu Bide had come to cause trouble and find relief for the tragedy that had befallen his son. He couldn't hold back from bursting at Pengzhan anymore.

If it weren't for House Yu's benefit, he would have slapped Pengzhan to death, and then marched on his daughter and Lin Yi.

Pengzhan tensed up. So they did come to cause trouble, and for that exact reason.

"Correct, I am Chu Pengzhan. May I know what Mister Yu has come to grace me with?" Pengzhan smiled, knowing that he wasn't going to avoid this today.

"Grace you? Hmph! My son's crippled. He's a cripple who lies in bed and can't get up! What do you think I've come here to grace you with?" Bide raged. "I'll kill your entire family, but even then it'll be tough to quell my rage!"

"Uncle, please calm down. We're businessmen, we can't be talking about things like killing!" Yu Haitian smiled. "Plus, we're here to talk compensation with Mister Chu Pengzhan. Of course, if he doesn't pay up then, it wouldn't be unfair to just that—kill his entire family!"

Rage. Pengzhan felt nothing as he trembled with only rage! Haitian's words were threats, coated threats! They would kill his family if he couldn't pay? What madness!

But, in the face of the leader of the four big houses and five small houses, Pengzhan simply couldn't muster up any of that rage. He didn't think that these were empty threats. After all, with their position, killing him would be akin to stepping on an ant.

Even if investigations were made, the amount of scapegoats at their disposal were uncountable.

It was Yu Kun who'd invaded their home in the first place, and now they're blaming him for his injury! Pengzhan felt the injustice deep in his heart, but had no way of talking it over with House Yu! With the way they were handling this, it was clear that they wanted to cause trouble!

Talking sense with them was useless—they were simply being straight out thugs, and there was nothing he could do!

"You're right" Bide nodded. "I'll let you do the negotiations, Haitian! Tell him our terms! If he doesn't agree, we'll do just that!"

"Mister Chu Pengzhan, my uncle is a little short on temper. After all, Little Yu Kun is his only son. I hope you understand!" Haitian smiled. "As long as you fulfill our requirements, he won't kill your entire family!"

Pengzhan's face went green—he'd never felt such injustice, and he'd never felt so helpless in the face of it! There was nothing he could do about what they were saying, simply because they weren't even on the same playing field!

"What terms?" Pengzhan said after a deep breath.

From House Yu, to Qibin, to House Yu—none of these were anything but strong forces. None of them were people he could anger! Pengzhan didn't know if there would be any more people coming to his doorstep, but the people here were simply out of his league.

"Let your daughter become Yu Kun's mistress, and give your Pengzhan Industries as a marriage gift!" Haitian announced.

"What!" Pengzhan froze, his face changing instantly. This was way over the demands the other people had made, it was simply unfathomable!

They were bullies! How could he answer such ridiculous demands!

"What, do you reject the demands?" Haitian asked evilly as he looked at Pengzhan.
