Chapter One Hundred and fifty
Final chapter
Damien's POV;
It had been way over an hour.
She squeezed my palm so tightly as she pushed, screaming her lungs out while at it. I just wanted to cry but I had to be strong for her.
"I'm tired, I'm so tired." She sobbed, her voice had gone hoarse from all that screaming. She had hair glued to her forehead due to sweat. It broke my heart to see her like this but she still looked so effortlessly beautiful.
"Come on babe, we can do this." I encouraged her. She was panting heavily.
"You're crowning, you're almost there!" The nurse yelled.
She pushed again with all her might, grunting deeply until we heard the first cry of a baby.
I wanted to jump and pump my fist in the air until I remembered we still had another baby to think about.
She laid down breathing heavily for a minute or so before she pushed hard again at the nurse's instruction and once again, we heard the cry of our second child. Our twins were finally here!
I kissed her before joining the the family to celebrate with hugs.
"I love you babe, you're the best!" I said to her. She gave me a tired smile. I kissed her hand before leaving the room for them to get cleaned up.
"Congratulations man!" Aiden hugged me.
"Thank you!" I said sighing in relief while I bent over and placed my palms over my knees.
"My little bro is now a father!" Amy practically jumped on me. I laughed, holding her tight.
"Mom?" I asked when I saw her kneeling on the floor.
"She's just in her feelings." Fiona said before pointing at the nurse who was coming out of the room.
"Congratulations!" She beamed, facing all of us. "You have two healthy baby boys as well as a healthy mom. Congrats once again."
"Thank you so much!" I could not contain my excitement, I wanted to scream to the heavens how grateful I was.
"Two boys?! Now if that ain't skillfulness, I don't know what is." Aiden said, making all of us laugh as always.
I couldn't wait to hold my boys in my hands.

"Mom you can stop crying now." I rolled my eyes.
She had been standing by the cots since forever, praying and crying her eyes out in joy.
"Let me be would you?!" She scowled. I raised my hands in mock surrender.
I felt the beautiful woman laying beside me, stir in her sleep. She had been asleep since she breast fed the babies for the first time.
"Hey mummy." I smiled at her the moment her eyes came open.
She softly chuckled.
"Hey." She gently responded as she sat up.
"You're so beautiful." I felt my heart soar every time I looked at her.
"Don't flatter me Damien, I feel like I just ran a marathon." She said.
"You look flawless all the same." I said back.
"So cheesy." She giggled.
"You're such a strong woman. Thank you for giving the best gift anyone could ask for. I love you more than anything." I told her from my heart.
"Oh babe, you're going to make me cry." She whimpered.
I locked my lips on hers, hoping she could feel all the love I put in that action.
"Oh come on, you two get a room!"
That was jelly Amy.
I pulled away and smiled. Then I gave her the finger before going back to kiss my wife.
"They're awake!" Fiona said.
Just like Mom, she had been glued to the cots where the babies laid.
"Damien, please bring them over." Ariana said.
"When's the last time Damien held Sky? How's he going to hold them?" Tracy actually looked terrified.
I laughed.
"Come on Trace, have some faith in me."
"Ariana, are you sure I shouldn't be the one to carry them?" Mom said worriedly.
My jaw dropped. These people had absolutely no faith in me.
"Babe tell them we've been practicing for this." I turned to Ariana.
"We've been practicing for this." She reiterated without any zeal.
"Come on, say it like you mean it!" I whined.
"I mean it. I'm just saying we've been practicing, but it doesn't mean you did so well while at it." Such savagery to the father of her children! Despicable! Unacceptable!
"I'll prove you all wrong." I got on my feet and strode confidently to the cots.
"Stay close everyone." I heard the mockery in Amy's tone. It pushed me to prove her and everyone else wrong.
I bent over the cots and with Mom's help I was able to carry both of them at once.
"They're so adorable." Ariana cooed, holding on to one baby while I sat next to her with the other.
The look in her eyes meant everything to me. I couldn't believe I wanted to deprive her of this happiness that she felt all because of my silly fears. I promised I would always keep her happy and that is what I would do for the rest of my life.
"What are we going to name them?" We actually never decided on names, we just bantered back and forth whenever the name issue came up and in the end we'd forget about it.
"I want to name one of them after my father." She was seeking my permission.
"Of course babe, anything that makes you happy." I agreed without hesitation.
"What do you think about Darian and Damon?"
"Why do they have D as their initials? You're not playing fair." She pouted.
"There's an A beside every D, just like you're the woman beside me."
"Nice save." Aiden coughed out. I glared at him.
"Very corny lines but I like them." She grinned.
"Darian Juan Kingston." I named our first born who had a blue band around his little hand for identification. I kissed his head while his little eyes came open just a bit
"And, Damon Luis Kingston." I dubbed the second.
The coos poured from all corners while I just sighed, relieved at how things had fallen in place. My life had turned out to be better than I thought it would after all.
I held her close to me, just as we brought the babies next to each other. Our little family was everything I needed. I felt complete, fulfilled and most of all truly and genuinely happy.

Ariana's POV;
"Finally home." I sighed, plopping down on the bed while Damien placed the babies next to me.
Staring down at our sons brought more than enough joy to last a lifetime. I felt complete.
Two years ago, I didn't think my life would feel this great. I didn't think I'd find love and happiness like this but here I was, with the man that universe had chosen, showering me with all the love I never thought I would get. It was amazing and made my heart soar at the thought.
Now, I had become a mother. This was the beginning of another journey. I was scared, anxious about what the world would throw at us but I believed that with our love we could go through anything and come back stronger.
Darian and Damon had come into our lives for a reason and I was going to love and protect them to the best of my ability. I was going to teach them to always be humble and thankful for the lives they were going to have. So help me God.
This was true happiness, all that pain from the past was forgotten. It was all worth it in the end.
"I love you." I said to both of them, dropping kisses on their little foreheads.
"Do you need anything babe? Hot water? Tea? Oats?"
Damien had been such a doting husband and father, it was both adorable and hilarious to see the all tough and buff boss being such a lover boy and family man. What a change...
"No babe, just come here." I patted the other side of the bed.
"Come lie down, you're stressed out already." I said.
He took his shoes off and climbed into the bed, leaving the babies as the only boundary between us.
"It's going to be different now." He said, adjusting Darian's cap.
"Yeah, but in a good way, don't you think?"
"Of course. We have more responsibilities to worry about now. Now in every decision we make we have to put them into consideration." The aura of responsibility he oozed was infectious.
"I couldn't agree more." I concurred.
"You know I love you right?" He said.
"You tell me all the time." I rolled my eyes with a smile.
"Well, I'd never get tired of saying it. I love you babe."
"I love you too."
I stretched over to lock my lips with his and just before our lips could touch, Damon got fussy, breaking our kiss before it could even begin.
"He's going to be a real trouble maker, this one." Damien commented with a cute frown, making me laugh.
"We better be on the lookout for him." I said in agreement.
Intertwining my pink finger with Damien's I quoted our favorite line;
"Nuestro amor es por siempre." (Our love is forever.)
"Siempre." He smiled. (Forever.)
Forever and Ever...
