Chapter 48 Anak
<Mia>
“You don't have enough evidence, wife… anyway, I wouldn’t let that happen. Hmm.” He caress my cheeks using his thumb.
I felt like a statue, unable to respond. I didn't know what to argue with him about. I should be picking a fight with him, right? Why is he like this? He's already fixing the problem right away.
"Why? Don't you have CCTV cameras here?" I tried to hide my nervousness in my voice.
He shook his head as an answer, "We don't install CCTV inside the villas because we protect the privacy of the customers. But, there are CCTV cameras outside and in the parking area. Also in the swimming pool area."
He's right again. He's always right... and it's so annoying!
"I know you want to pick a fight with me. Please, let's stop fighting again. I don't want us to fight anymore," he pleaded. "I love you, and I don't want us to be fighting."
"She's not important enough for us to fight about," he added.
I just nodded in response.
"Do you want to eat now? Our dinner will be served within five to fifteen minutes," he changed the topic.
Err, he didn't cook? Lol, I heard that dinner is free here for overnight stays.
"You didn't cook? I thought you'd be cooking when I left," I said with a frown. Maybe that's why he didn't look for me in his resort and let me enjoy my time alone here. I like this resort; it has such a relaxing vibe. He also told me it's eco-friendly.
"Tomorrow, I'll be the one cooking," he assured me.
"Let's watch something while waiting for our dinner, and you can tell me where you've been," he pulled me to sit where he was seated earlier.
He turned on the television.
"Tell me what really happened earlier," I confronted him.
"I already told you everything," he said.
"Repeat it," I demanded. "Are you getting close with anyone else?"
"Lol, I'm a loyal man."
"Seriously, Ethan! I saw her undressed in front of you, and you were looking at her body!" I raised my voice, the type that might annoy him.
"Hey, I didn't look at her body. I was looking at her face. I never looked or took a glimpse of her body. You're still sexier and hotter than her," he said with a slight smile.
Okay, I'm not mad anymore.
"I don't believe you!"
He smirked, seemingly amused by me being angry, "let me call one of my friends to support my claim. I'm a loyal man, and besides, why would I cheat if I already have you?" he said while calling one of his friends, "I only want to make love with you and the mother of my fifteen children."
What?! Fifteen children?!
"What fifteen children are you talking about?!"
He shrugged, "I want a big and contented family."
"Fifteen is too much! Can you afford to support them?! The cost of living is so high, and raising a child is difficult. It's expensive!"
"I can," he replied succinctly.
"Are you turning me into a pig?!"
He kissed me on the lips. It was a quick one.
"Shut up now, okay? Take a rest from complaining."
I glared at him for what he said.
"Hello, bro!" I heard Moonraker say.
"How's it going in America? Is it cold there? Send us some dollars, pesos," he said and laughed.
"Bro," Ethan said in a deep voice, sending shivers down my spine. "My wife is listening, can you tell her that I'm a loyal man? She's not at ease and doesn't want to believe me. I've never been with another woman since we got married."
"Oh? Don't believe that, Mama Mia! It's true that he didn't have a girlfriend, but he had plenty of ex-FUBUs!" Raker burst into laughter, "Don't believe him! He might have some FUBUs among the nurses in his hospital. Those nurses are so young and sexy! And you know what happened—"
Ethan ended the call.
"Wow, seriously?!" I reacted.
“Don’t believe him! He was lying!” I resisted this man.
"You know what, don't sit close to me. I thought you were a good boy! Turns out you're a fuck boy! My gut feeling about you was right!"
"Wife, I don't have any other woman! He is lying. When I saw you, I cut ties with all my former FUBUs. I promise."
"Let's just eat; I'm hungry," I changed the topic.
"Wife—" He tried to speak, but I stopped him.
"I believe you. Let's eat; I'm hungry."
I do believe him. I believe he has never lied to me. I don't have the energy to fight, and he is a good man. He's just not lucky to have me; I'm a diamond.
"Are you sure? I don't want you hiding any grudges against me, and I don't want you thinking of things that aren't true about me."
I nodded at him and smiled to be effective. I also pinched his cheek, just like he always does to me whenever I'm being difficult with my actions and words.
"It was just a joke. I just wanted to tease you, and I do believe in you, really."
He moved closer and hugged me.
His left arm caressed my left arm, and his hand felt warm.
"Baby..." he whispered hoarsely. It sent shivers down my spine and a strange feeling in my body. "Please stop picking a fight with me. Every time you fight with me, I feel like you're going to break up with me or leave." He said with a hint of fear in his voice.
Was he that afraid when I was gone? I didn't know it would have that kind of impact on him.
What if I actually leave him? I bit my lower lip. What about my plan? I'm planning to leave because I'm not happy with both our families. I feel suffocated with my own family, and his family has such high standards. I'm not close to all of them.
I felt him lightly kiss my neck.
"Ethan, please give me some space." He was too close to me again.
He groaned when I tried to push him away, but he didn't budge.
I let out a moan when he suddenly kissed me, and his hand slipped inside my shirt. He cupped my breast and squeezed it. He's so fast. It's like he's eager and craving. His kisses were so wild, making a sound as our lips clashed. It's like he wants to devour my lips. I felt my lips reddening due to the intensity of his kisses.
I found myself getting carried away with what he was doing.
He stopped kissing me and whispered against my lips, "I miss you." He said hoarsely.
I felt him unlock my bra.
"Hubby!" I screamed his name in surprise.
"Damn it! Get out of here!"
He buried his head inside my shirt, and I moaned as I felt his hot mouth suck on my nipple while his other hand squeezed the other one and touched me somewhere else.
His touch was scorching, and it felt like I was burning from what he was doing. I scratched him like how he would tickle me when he finds me annoying.
He twirled his tongue and sucked on it. I closed my eyes tightly as he did that and ran my fingers through his hair.
"E-Ethan..." I weakly uttered his name. His breathing was heavy too. When he was satisfied with that, he kissed me again on the lips.
Our teeth were clashing as well.
A man's kiss still felt good. There's something different about men.
His hands roamed all over my body, and he kissed me in various places, giving me a right and burning pleasure. Pleasure that makes me feel sane.
He was about to undress me when the doorbell rang.
Lol, we have a doorbell?
The doorbell kept ringing repeatedly, and it wouldn't stop. Ethan didn't want to be disturbed.

He undressed himself again and attacked me with his kisses.
As I grew impatient, I stopped our kissing, and he let out a faint groan. He was protesting.
"There's someone outside," I said in a hoarse voice.
"They'll leave," he whispered back. His voice was husky, like a dog's.
He was about to kiss me again when I pushed him away, saying, "It might be important." It was my excuse.
"I'll handle it. Don't show yourself like that," he said, pulling me to sit down. I fixed my face and myself.
"Fix yourself," he told me before opening the door.
"Good evening, sir. Here's your dinner. We apologize for the delay; we have many customers," I heard a man say. I couldn't see the man's face because Ethan didn't fully open the door.
"Leave it here," he said in a cold tone. "You can go now," he added.
The man was about to protest, but he kept silent.
Ethan arranged the food in the dining area, looking grumpy.
I found him amusing. I watched him with what he was doing, and he seemed to be pouting. He was so cute; he looked like a dog.
"Are you okay?" I asked and smiled, teasing him.
He glanced at me. "Tsk! Stop it!" he said, scowling, and returned to what he was doing. I sat on one of the chairs nearby as he neared completion.
"Why are you smiling? Tsk!"
I burst into laughter. He was already getting annoyed even though I hadn't done anything yet. I loved teasing him because he got irritated so quickly.
"Let's make a baby."
I stopped getting a plate when he said that.
"Why?" he asked suddenly, seeing my reaction.
I'm still young, and I'm not ready to have a child yet. I don't even know where this marriage is going. Even though we've been married for a long time, I'm still not confident. Many things can happen, and he might change his mind.
"I have my period," I just made an excuse and scooped some rice. I couldn't eat without rice.
He helped me serve myself.
"You told me you had your period last week, why do you still have it now?" he asked, frowning.
I bit my lip. He remembered that?
"I don't know either." I handed him a glass of water.
He sat in front of me, still frowning.
"Are you avoiding me?" he asked seriously.
"No, of course not!" I really wasn't ready to have a child yet, emotionally and physically.
"I don't know why either. Maybe it's just an excessive flow, or I've had too much blood." I gave him a silly reason.
"Let's have you checked. That's not normal. A woman's menstruation usually lasts four days, up to one week, but not two weeks."
"No, it's fine."
"No, I'll call my sister to schedule your check-up. You need to get checked; that's not healthy."
He's making decisions for me again.
"It's not heavy. It's not as strong, and I feel like it'll be gone by tomorrow."
"How did you know that? Are you a doctor?" He asked with an annoyed tone.
I was surprised by his question. Sometimes, it's tempting to smack this man for his overly honest mouth. His mother should have named him Honesto.
"It's just a feeling, right!" I replied a bit irritated.
"Why are you mad?"
He stopped eating and looked at me seriously.
"I'm not, okay? You're just too much. I was just surprised...just surprised," I said in a joking manner to calm him down.
"Still, we will get you checked. I'll ask my sister to schedule it," he insisted, and I slapped my forehead in exasperation.
