Chapter 28
Kier’s voice is calm and doesn't make any sense of anything.
He is not mad or irritated.
He asked in a plain tone of voice.
"Ma'am Layla left her, and she's now in the company of sir Jase," The driver informed Kier.
A long silence in the other line.
"Sir?"
The driver looks in the mirror, and Shileyn is just looking outside. She won't notice that he's talking to Kier through the mouthpiece. She's in deep thought.
"Sir?" He repeated.
"Keep updating me about her," He said.
The driver silenced the call.
"Ma'am,” he called her attention.
"Sir, I want to talk to you," the driver said slowly.
Shielyn nods as a sign. The driver removed his earpiece and gave it to Shielyn.
"H-hello," she said utterly.
"He-hello," she repeated when no one answered.
A long silence.
"Why don't you want to talk to me?"
Finally, he spoke.
Why doesn't she want to talk to him? Maybe he left without saying anything? She doesn't know.
"You're not answering my calls and messages," she played with her finger. She doesn't know what to answer.
She's hearing his footsteps.
"Don't you really don't want to talk to me?"
Even though they are not together, she knows that he is frowning.
She wants to see him right now.
"I…" She thinks of reason.
The driver is looking at her in the rear mirror.
"My phone is a dead bat,” she reasoned.
He sighed in the other line.
"Where are you?" He asked.
"You… Where exactly are you?" She returned his question.
"I'm in Europe."
She holds the phone tightly.
"I asked. Where exactly are you?" She presses every word.
"Wife, are we going to fight?"
She heard the door unlock.
Maybe, that's why she heard that he was walking because he was on his way to the hotel.
"You sent Layla, so I wouldn't see you are going, and now, I'm asking you, where the hell exactly are you, and you don't want me to know. Tell me, Kier, are you hiding something from me?"
He thinks she won't know?
"Wife, please, let's not fight over small things," he pleaded and massaged his forehead.
"I'll come home sooner, okay? Don't be mad. I love-"
She ended the call and gave back the bodyguard's phone.
She doesn't want to talk to him.
The other line.
Kier sighed when his wife ended the call. She knows that he sends Layla, so she won't see her leaving.
He massaged his forehead in frustration. He will meet with the board of directors; he hasn't had a rest. It motivates him to finish his work on time.
"Ma'am, are you okay?" Her driver asked, and she nodded her head.
"Can we go to the southeast? I'll be meeting with a friend,” she lied.
The driver thinks twice, and a minute passes; he nods and U-turns the car.
"Ma'am, what are you doing there? And where in the southeast?"
"In the house, darn,” she replied shortly.
"Can I borrow your phone?" She asked the driver.
The driver gave his phone to her, and she silently tapped on the keyboard. When done, she deletes the conversation and returns it to the driver.
"Just park there,” she pointed to the tree.
"Just left me. Thank you."
When the driver parked the car, she went out immediately.
"Ma'am!" The driver tried to call her, but she ran.
She passed on the other side and went into the canto.
A lot of coffee shops are found in the house den. The place of the coffee lovers.
"Shielyn!!"
A man called her name. She turned back, and she smiled.
He's just laughing at me again.
"You're hugging me too tight,” he chucked, and we released from the hug.
I pout.
"I miss you,” I am looking at his hazelnut eyes.
I rub my neck when I feel I will have a stiff neck again.
Why am I surrounded by tall men?
He chucked me when I bowed my head. I saw his shoes shining. He's elegant and clean.
He messed up my hair.
"You didn't grow. Drink a grower so your height will increase. You still have a chance."
I glared at him, and he was just laughing at me.
He looks handsome in his outfit, a black shirt and a blue coat. His clean haircut.
"Don't look at me like that, babe,” he winked.
"Why are you so proud of yourself?" I asked him, irritated.
"You are so arrogant!" That's what I don't like about his attitude. So full of himself.
"Nah-uh. I'm just telling the truth. You look me differently,” Sean leaned closer to me.
"Am I too handsome?" He raises his right eyebrow at him.
I simply looked at his shoe, and I stepped on it.
"What the hell, brat?!" He screams in pain.
"You're not just a small but a devil."
We got some people's attention.
He suddenly put his arm on my shoulder, and his other hand was in his trouser pocket.
"Where do you want to eat, babe?"
His face is too close to me.
"Are you going to kiss me?" He is looking at my lips.
He laughed.
"You like a woman; you are so loud," I commented.
"Why? Do you want me to kiss you?" He asked playfully as his face was getting closer.
One moment, I felt his soft lips on my cheeks and blinked twice. He really kissed me.
"There," He smirked.
"You don't have to ask; I will kiss you; you just need to ask,” he said arrogantly.
He just kissed my cheeks.
"You are so annoying."
I slap his chest.
We walked.
There are a lot of people here since it's the weekend. I look around. And every coffee shop that we pass by is full. A lot of people and customers.
"You should marry me."
I interrupted him and asked.
"So, you will tease me every day?" He laughs.
"Nope,” he said and silent the letter N.
"Not every day but every hour,” he mirthfully.
I raised my head to see him but didn't see his eyes. Every time he laughs, I am not seeing his eyes.
"I'd rather be single until I die than marry you."
I looked at the kid who passed by us. She is running while laughing while her father is chasing her.
"Baby, don't run too fast," the father said. The kid wore a pink headband with a ribbon design and a flowery pink dress. Her cheeks are too chubby.
"Do you want to have kids?" He noticed the kid too.
"With me? We can make it later,” he joked.
I punched his chest harder, and I even bit his arm.
"Look at your face. Your nose is smoking,” Sean is making fun of me again. Every time we are together.
"You so pervert!" I hissed. I am annoyed.
He didn't mind what I did to him because he was laughing like there was no tomorrow.
"Can you be serious just for once?"
I walked fast, and he was behind me.
"We can try 69,” he chuckled.
"Huh?! What is 69?!" I asked.
He is now beside me.
I don't know where we are going.
"Let's do it, babe,” he whispered in my ears, sending shivers down my spine.
He said it in a husky. Yeah, husky? Husky is dog bread, right?
"Where are we going?! Stop dragging me!" He suddenly pulled me.
"You moron! I will call the police!" I threatened him.
"Hey! Let go of my hand!"
"If you experience heaven, instead of calling the police. You're gonna call my name in pleasure." He stopped pulling me, and he bit his lower lip.
He looks like a maniac.
"You are so dirty! I won't give my innocence to you!" I shouted, and I got attention.
Kier and I haven't done that and are not yet ready. How is he? I already miss that arrogant moron.
I miss him even though I am mad at him. Who wouldn't get mad if he planned to send his cousin and bring me to the mall, so I wouldn't see him leaving the country?
He is such an asshole.
My husband is an asshole, and this man I'm with is so naughty and maniac.
"Really?" He smirked. He comes closer to me.
I stepped backward, but he put his hand behind my waist and pulled me closer to him. I tried to push him, but it didn't work.
"What are you doing?" I whispered.
I looked around, and everyone was busy with their business. I don't like public displays of affection. I am not comfortable.
His smile didn't leave his face.
"Try something I don't want; I will kill you," Based on the reaction he is giving me, he looks amused.
"You will like this, babe,” he said huskily. Husky dog.
"Do you want a dog husky?" I asked out of a sudden.
He didn't blink or change his aura. He is so playful.
"Can you let me go? I am so shy about our position." I whispered, and I felt my heart beating fast.
He gets closer and closer, and I close my eyes intensely. I am praying. I don't want to commit a sin. Lord, spread me from this evil in front of me.
Seconds passed, and I heard him groan in pain. I open my eyes, and he's holding his head. I laugh at him.
What happened to him? He is in deep pain.
"Bro, I'm sorry. My Remote broke," a young man approached him.
I saw a small airplane on the ground; it was not too small and looked heavy.
He is holding his remote control.
"I'm trying this. Are you okay? I'm really sorry. I didn't mean my airplane would fall to you,” he checked his head but flinched.
"No, No. It's okay, I am fine,” Sean removed his hand from the man’s head.
He got the airplane on the ground and gave it to the young man.
"Just go. I am fine. Just be careful next time, young man,” Sean smiled at the child.
"I am sorry, bro, the child bid his goodbye, and I laughed when the young man left us.
"That's what they called karma," I laughed at him, and he just glared at me.
"What the fuck is that?" He looked shocked.
His eyes widened. Sean is looking at my back.
"Look,” he pointed at my back.
What the hell is that? I was getting nervous because of how he acted.
"What is that?" I asked nervously without looking at it. He makes me nervous with his reaction.
"Let's run!" He pulled me again.
He is holding my hand while we are running. I am still confused.
What is happening?
