Chapter 32
They are asking me questions again. Working in another company and being a simple employee is better than being a boss. I don't like to face different meetings every day and think about how to solve big problems. The intensity and pressure are just low.
I bit my lower.
“I will help Kier in the future. I just need a lot of experience and knowledge,” I answered.
Kyran rolled his eyes, “tell your husband to train you instead of doing illegal things.”
I look at Kyran when he says something. His voice is lowered with every single word he is spitting.
Nate nudged at him. I look at them suspiciously; they are not telling me something. They are like hiding something from me.
Why does Kier suddenly leave the country? I get my phone in my pocket and look at it. He still hasn't texted or called me.
They stop walking.
“You better resign before your husband takes action to get you,” Nate advised me, messing with my hair.
“We gotta go; I still have to attend a party and launch meeting,” Nathan said.
“Take care of yourself here, sister,” I nod at brother Nate.
“I will go to my company. My wife is waiting for me there,” brother Kyran nodded at Kyran.
My heart is heavy that they will go; I am not seeing them every day, just when there's a celebration and occasion. I hope my brother Nate will visit us in the house. I am just alone at our home with the drivers and security guard.
I don't know when he is coming home.
“Bye!” They bid their goodbyes before they got in their cars. I wavered my hand at him.
I smiled bitterly. I want to go home and sleep or lay in my bed.
I sighed.
I go back to my department, and a scene welcomes me.
“You are a stupid bitch who acted like a manager!”
“And how about you? You gave yourself to our boss so he will promote you!” Lufita said furiously and
I gasped when Lufita punched Nina in the stomach. That was so hard and hurtful.
Everyone is trying to stop them, and the whole mess is so easy; they push each other, trying to get out of their holds.
Lupita's friends back up, and they are raging mad.
They finally separated when two parties separated them; they held the two tightly, trying not to let them go from their holds.
They are glaring at each other.
My knees are getting weaker in this scenario.
Their hair is messy, and I saw scratches on Lufita's face.
It's been 5 hours since they calmed themselves, and the accident was heard from above, and we didn't notice that the accounting department was looking at them when they were fighting.
20 minutes more, and where are you going home. Works are done.
“You stupid bitch!” Lufita yelled at me.
“Why are you so stupid, huh? This is not the coffee that I ask you for! I said ‘creamy and black!” I bowed my head when she yelled at me again.
“I-Ill just changes it,” I stammered in fear.
She is turning his madness on him, it feels like she is mad at me for no reason, and she wants to eat me alive. I'm silently doing my job at the corner when she asks me to make her a coffee.
My instinct is right that I shouldn't have said yes.
I am not an assistant here, but she treats me like her assistant.
My hands are shaking, and my knees are still getting weaker.
“Stupid!” She Yelled when I accidentally threw the coffee in her bag, and the coffee split too in her clothes. She glares at me.
"Why are you so fucking stupid?! I always get bad luck when I command you to make me a coffee! How come you got chosen to be the department representative when you are so clumsy and stupid as fuck?!” Her words are so hurtful and tattooed in my soul.
My mom said I am now stupid and that making mistakes is nasal. Just learn from it and never do it twice.
I cleaned her bag, but the stain spread on her tiny white bag.
She slaps my hand. I cringed in that intensity, “get out of my sight before I pour all my wrath on you!” He roared.
She poured out all her wrath on me.
I bow my head while walking to my seat.
“Oh, it's the time! I gotta go, Jen. Are you going overtime again?”
I wiped my tears.
Why does she need to be mean? She can talk to me nicely; she shouldn't yell at me that much and embarrass me. Her words are so hurtful.
I am suppressing my tears; I should not be crying for hire; it will just embarrass me more.
Why do you need to embarrass someone when they make a mistake?
Why do you need to throw your wrath at innocent people?
The world is already chaotic; why don't you do good things for other people? That way, it helps to make the world at least in just a little act.
The vibrations in my heart are all pain and embarrassment; I can't show myself anymore in this company. I don't know what more faces I am gonna demonstrate. I embarrassed myself two times today.
It was so hurt, so hurtful.
I am not stupid; I just made a mistake, and that's normal. I tried to cheer myself up so I wouldn't cry. I hurriedly fix my things for the person who knows me well and will comfort me.
I wiped my cheeks and fixed my things abruptly.
"Oh! My God! What happened?!"
As soon as I saw my comfort person, my tears came down like water, and I hugged her tightly.
It hurts.
It would be so heavy in my heart if I didn't release it now.

<Third Person>
“Tell me the truth, or I will fucking pull this trigger in your brainless head!” Kier points the gun at a man sitting in the chair, almost lifeless.
He clenched his jaw; he lost almost 25 minutes trying to get information from this jerk.
Conrad is smoking on his back while his feet are on the table.
He split the blood in his mouth to him. He smirked.
“I am loyal to my master, and I won’t say anything to you; go on, pull the trigger; I am not scared of death,” the man challenged Kier.
Kier didn't think twice about hitting him; he kicked him in the face real hard; he coughed blood; the man had been tortured, and what the sense of telling the truth if he would face death.
Might as well kill him.
“You won't find a lead; we are m-making sure of it.” He coughs again and has difficulty talking; his left-hand gets broken, and his clothes are stained with blood. There's also blood running to his head.
The man’s body ached so much.
Kier's patience is just thin, so he pulled the trigger. He wasn’t satisfied with the one bullet; he shot him in the head, chest, and legs.
“Clean this mess.!” He ordered Conrad's men to clean the mess, and he exiled the gun on the man.
Kier furiously sat on the chair near Conrad.
“What’s with you, Saltzman? Just relax and let destiny give you an answer to the missing piece of yourself,” Conrad said and hit the cigarettes.
Kier runs his finger through his hair; he has been stressed and never rests; that's what he expected when he got here.
“When did you believe in fucking destiny? Destiny is just a human illusion!” Kier gets a cigar from the table and is about to light it when he hears his wife reminding him not to smoke; he exiles it furiously. “Fuck it!” he came to Europe for a critical reason.
“If I let destiny help me, I already died at that moment. If I don't make any move, I will die without knowing it.!”
Conrad looks at the exiled cigar, picks it up, and puts it on the table. He is wasting a damn expensive cigar.
“Stop wasting my treasure, luxury black; I just bought these cigars yesterday,” Conrad glares at him and lights up another stick.
Conrad leans in the chair, so relaxing. His men already clean the mess. “You already killed twenty men. Are you here to kill everyone?” He asked jokingly.
“Oh, your agent is here,'' Conrad informs Kier when someone gets in with his all-back custom.
Kier just nodded at his hired secret agent and hacker for decades. He put down his laptop on the small round table and opened it.
“I am having difficulty finding your sister; this is a tough mission,” Conrad said while shaking his head. The agent gave him the folder he was holding.
“I got the information, but I am unsure if they were true. I am More than a hundred percent that your sisters already die,” Conrad said.
Kier looks at those papers.
“Don't you have any pictures of them? It's hard to find someone without a source; I need strong proof of pictures or something about that person,” Conrad added.
Kier didn’t give him anything; he just said he had a sibling, and I guess he wasn’t sure about the gender.
“I found many people that may be related to you, and I have been searching the orphanage you mention,” Conrad is a hacker and a secret agent. He is an Italian agent.
“I lost her picture accidentally!” Kier yelled out, losing hope. They have their picture together as he is carrying the baby.
The agent sighed.
“I'll try my best to find a lead about her, but my instinct is saying that he already died; if he dies, I'll make a further investigation of her death,” the agent informed and licked his lip.
Kier just looked at the papers intently.
Conrad gets the folder from Kier, “Ah, you look like this child, man,” Conrad commented when he saw the child.
“He is too young, and you have the same eyes,'' Conrad said and looked at the other pages.
“Conrad, we have six that look alike in this world,” Kier said while looking at the papers.
“Yeah, why are you trying to find your siblings? Are they going to inherit something?” Conrad makes a joke.
Kier glares at him.
“That's the only family I have except my wife.”
“Oh, I see; you are such an understanding husband, Under.” He mocked and laughed.
The hacker snickered.
“Why are you trying to find your siblings? You have your wife and build a family with her.” Conrad suggested.
“You can't just forget an important person in your life,” Kier sincerely said.
“But bro, you said he or she was still a baby when you separated; you didn't even know if she was a girl or a boy.” Conrad snorted out.
“You are crazy; you want to find your sibling wherein you don't have anything to remember.” Conrad shakes his head in disbelief.
“At least we need something to look up to,” Kier.
Kier’s brain goes to his feet.
Conrad is laughing at him; he already wasted a million dollars because of his siblings; this is his second time coming here because of his siblings. His hacker is here, not in his country.
“But, have you seen your cousin again? You, to look the same,'' Conrad said suddenly and continued flipping the papers.
“Same eyes and same shape of the face. Maybe Layla is your sibling?” Conrad asked unsurely, but he also retracted what he had said.
“But it's impossible; she is the real daughter of your auntie,” Conrad accidentally saw the picture of Layla.
Kier gave him a hint.
“Kier, man, sometimes destiny is playing at you. You don't know; you two already met each other; you just don't know,” Conrad said in deep meaning.
The agent is just busy looking at the screen on his laptop.
“Look at this, sir,” The agent showed him a picture on his computer.
The moment Kier saw it, he clenched his fist when he saw who it was. His jaw tightened. His face became dark.
