Chapter 61
<Shielyn>
Since we got home, he hasn’t left me behind.
“Good evening Ma’am,” a man I saw cooking in the kitchen greeted me.
I wiped the remaining tears from my cheeks.
Ken was still fast asleep, and I was lucky to get out of his arms. He didn’t even wake up from my crying and waking him up.
“By the way, I am your chef. You just saw me now, hehe,” he said shyly.
How many people do I have?
I looked at what he was cooking and the delicious smell.
“What are you cooking?” I asked him and looked.
“Steak Ma’am,” he answered me.
“I’ve cooked something; maybe you’re hungry. I’m about to finish that and go home,” our chef said, even though I didn’t ask.
“Wait, I’ll get you a plate,” he added.
“I just saw you in this house, ma’am,” he began.
Me too, I just saw him.
“Are you the one who cooks the meals here at home? Why don’t I find you cooking?” I was curious and tasted what he cooked. I took a lot because I was starving.
“Because I’m coming here early and you, sir, are asleep. Sir orders me to cook until lunch, and sometimes I also cook dinner for the two of you.”
It’s delicious, or am I just hungry?
I looked at what he cooked and the amount.
“I’m leaving after I cook,”
I keep eating.
“Ma’am, water,” he offered me water. He must have noticed that I eat one after another.
“Thank you,” I said shyly.
“By the way, how old are you?” He asked me.
“Twenty-seven,”
“Oh, my daughter is the same age as you,”
I looked at him. He is also old.
“That’s why he’s dead. I didn’t even see my daughter because she died after giving birth to her. My husband said that he was entertained immediately. I was at work then, ma’am,” he said sadly.
“How many children do you have?” I’m curious.
“One. sadly, my son also died,” he smiled at me when he said that.
“I think you are as beautiful as my daughter if she is still alive.”
He just smiled at me.
“Wife!”
I was startled by the loudness of that scream.
“Wife!”
I closed my eyes tightly.
Why is he screaming?
“I think sir is angry,” said the chef.
“I’m here in the kitchen,” I shouted back.
I heard Ken’s footsteps, and his angry face greeted me with a frown.
He doesn’t seem to be awake well.
“Good evening, sir,” our chef greeted but ignored him.
“I told you not to leave me until I’m not awake!” He was angry with me.
“S-sorry, because I’m hungry,” I said sadly.
“You should have woken me up!” He shouted.
I woke him up several times.
His expression calmed down when he noticed that I was crying.
“I’m sorry, I was damn worried when I realized that you’re not at my side,” he said softly and kissed me on the forehead. He sat next to me.
“What are you doing?” He asked me.
Ken turned to our chef.
“Did you cook healthy foods for her?” He asked rudely, so I elbowed him.
“Yes, sir, everyone is healthy. Congratulations, by the way,”
“Thank you,” I said because the man beside me was in a bad mood.
“Why are you still here?” Ken asked the chef.
“Oh hehe, I’m sorry, sir, I’m late. But I’m about to finish cooking it, and I’m going home with that,” replied the chef, and Ken ignored him.
“Do you want to eat?” I offer to him.
Ken didn’t answer me and took the spoon I was holding.
He ate what I ate.
“Hey! That’s mine!” I growled at him.
“I’m your husband,” he answered me.
“Get your plate!” I said to him, annoyed.
He takes what I eat.
.
“A husband and a wife should share everything,” he hissed, making me sneeze.
“Open your mouth,” he ordered.
He pointed the fork in my mouth with a freshly cooked steak.
Kier and I ended him testing me while we shared a utensil and a plate. I didn’t even notice that our chef had already left.
Ken didn’t go to work for three months. The two of us are at home, and he takes care of me.
He also accompanies me to my checkups.
“Where’s Fiero?” Jase opened up to me.
He is at home again.
He often visits Kier at home.
Kier and I also went on vacation but only for two weeks.
“Sleep,” I answered him briefly.
“Can you wake him up?” Jase, please me.
Huh? That man was awake. Even though he is at home, I know Ken will still work.
“Does he always drink his meds?” Jase was curious.
I played with my fingers.
“How’s his mood recently?” He asked me next.
“He is okay, and his wounds have healed. He’s not that angry anymore,’
Jase nodded his head.
“Does he always drink his meds?” Jase was curious.
I played with my fingers.
“How’s his mood recently?” He asked me next.
“He is okay, and his wounds have healed. He’s not that angry anymore,’
Jase nodded his head.
“Can you tell him to stop his bullshit? He sued the twins for faking the DNA test,”
I was shocked by what Jase said.
It’s been three months, and that’s still not over.
What is this again? I thought Ken was not serious.
I remember what Ethan told me when we were in the hospital.
“Ethan is not into our idea; we just forced him. Save Ethan licensed,”
Wait, I’m still thinking. I still can’t believe what I found out.
“How many days has Ethan been in jail? And why didn’t I know about it?”
Jase sighed.
“Of course, Fiero won’t let you know the good things he does. Ethan is inside the jail for five hours, and I can’t get him out. Now, if you know how to feel sorry for Ethan’s son and our friend who is in jail, ask Fiero to let Ethan out of there,”
I still can not believe it.
“Ethan struggled with his license. Save Ethan,”
“Whore! I’m right. You’re here!”
I looked at Nathan, who was angry and sweaty. He also has a wound on the side of his lip.
“I couldn’t get in, so I beat Fiero’s guards,” Nathan informed us.
I gasped at what Nathan said.
“Where’s Fiero? Tell him to get my twin out of jail! If he doesn’t, I will kill him!” Nathan growled.
“I thought you were inside the jail? How did you get out?” Jase asked Nathan.
“Basic!”
The twins are imprisoned, but why does Jase seem unmoved? The calmness of his aura.
Jase looked at me, so I backed away.
They both scare me.
“Wake him up,” Jase ordered me.
“I thought you were going to talk to Fiero, huh?!” Nate is interested in Jase.
“Can you fucking shut up?!” Jase shouted angrily, and he even glared at her.
“Please, don’t fight anymore. I’m sorry for what my husband did, and I will talk to him, I promise.”
“You better be!” Jace.
“Yes, b-as long as you promise me that you won’t do anything bad to Ken,” I begged them in fear.
“Do you think this man will hurt your wife?” Nathan exclaimed.
“Jase loves your wife so much that he can’t hurt her,” Nathan said mischievously, causing Jase to glare at him.
“Do you know, Shielyn, that those two used to go live?” Nate asked me. He’s back to being mischievous.
“Jase is your rival for your wife and not the other woman,” Nate said and laughed.
“Look at you! Shut up!” Jase was very angry with him and walked out.
Jase looks like he’s getting sick.
