Chapter 70
<Nate>
“What are your plans? You know that your sibling is alive,” I ask Kier.
“I’ll let destiny cross our path,” he said and drank water.
Since he got married, he doesn't drink much anymore. Since finding out that his wife is pregnant, he only drinks water when we go out for drinks. He said he didn't want his wife to smell him.
"You're not going to look for your sibling?" I was curious about him and looked at the glass he was holding.
He did that he would not drink anymore. Wine is so good when life is bitter.
That's why I drink alcohol to make me immune to life. Life is not yet done to give me shits.
"Ma'am! Wait, don't go in!"
Kier and I looked at the door when it suddenly opened.
The door spat out Heidi and a woman carrying the boy.
“I finally found you,” the woman grinned at Kier.
She let go of the child she was holding.
"Sir, I'm sorry. I don't want to listen," Heidi apologized to her boss, knowing she would be embarrassed again later.
“You can leave us,” Kier ordered his secretary coldly.
I wink at her when Heidi looks in my direction.
I just laughed at his abuse, and he turned away.
“Who are you,” Kier asked the woman.
"Huh? I know you're rich, but you speak Tagalog," the woman slapped him.
I almost laughed.
I looked at the child she was carrying. She even brought her son here. Because Kier's company is child friendly, even though he seems harsh to his employees, deep inside, he cares for his employees, especially those who have families. The company's policy is that the child can be brought if there is no one to take care of it.
There is a playground inside the company.
I looked at the woman whose soul was outside. He also has a lot of earrings and tattoos on her body.
This woman in front of us is a prostitute.
"I know you won't remember me. I'll introduce myself anyway, I'm Jiselle, and I work at cloud top bar. I was a prostitute there. I am one of the women you slept with and impregnated," she revealed.
"That boy is your son."
I looked at the boy and examined him.
This child is maybe a year old. The child is thin and looks malnourished.
"What?! Woman, I can sue you for defamation," Kier threatened her, and he glared at her.
"I'm telling the truth. I've been looking for you for a long time because I can't raise that child. I have many children with different men. I am here to sell you the child."
This girl is very straightforward.
In fairness, she knows his personality, and she admits it.
"What?! Are you insane?! How can you prove that you're telling the truth?! I never bed any women! And I'm fucking married!” Kier hiss.
He is angry.
"Hey, you're stupid! You're pregnant, but you can't stand it. If you want, you can DNA the child! I have no money for such a thing, so you do it yourself!” the woman is also interested in him.
"If you are unsatisfied, get the CCTV camera from last year. October is that month! And if you don't want the child, I'll have him adopted! I'm not rich, and I can't afford him! Milk is expensive!”
The child seems neglected.
“Bro, we can do a DNA. We can call Ethan. It would be bad if we try, so we can find out if she is telling the truth or just for money," I suggested.
Kier didn't speak and was stunned by the boy playing in his office.
An ugly son. The child looks disgusting.
"Give me your number; I will call you when the result is finished. But before that. I will call our friend and the Doctor for the DNA test for both of them. Will you be able to wait?" I said gently to her.
“No! I still have work! You take care of that child! Call me when the result is there! I'm going to leave that child because you are the father," the woman answered to me, and Kier was dumbfounded.
"I know you are married. When the DNA results are positive, all I ask for is money, and your child is yours,"
I was stunned by what she said. Greedy.
"And then that's your condition," I answered.
"I want money in exchange for that child," she said.
She also left, and Kier was still stunned.
I can't believe she left her son with us. What if we are bad people? She has nothing to care for the child.
"Bro, the child was left with us. What will you do?" I asked him.
“Shit! That woman said it couldn’t happen. That boy can’t be my son! My wife will get mad if she finds out that I get someone pregnant. And I don’t fucking remember that I bed a woman since I got married!” Kier said problematically.
"Okay, I'll go home and take care of the child. I'll send Ethan over here first to get you a sample."
"Nate, I want you to get the copy of the CCTV camera at the cloud top bar. The date she mentioned," he ordered me.
My service is expensive.
"Okay, noted."
I will do what he ordered later tonight. If Kier doesn't want the child, I will take care of him instead of having him to the orphanage.
If the result is negative, I will adopt it.
I know Kier will take his son and give him a good life if it's positive.
My friend is not that stupid.
"Don't overthink too much. Maybe that girl is trying to get you money."
“Damn! I will be dead if she’s telling the truth!” Kier reacted, stressed.
I just shook my head and approached the boy.
The child was beaten, and his clothes were torn.

“Do you want to see your parents?”
I look at Ken.
Ken was playing with my finger while I was leaning on his shoulder.
Do I want to see my parents?
“I found your parents. I know where they are living.”
I didn't speak.
“I don’t know,”
He sigh.
“Someone gave me a lead where they are, and gladly I found them. You have little siblings,” Ken smiled at me while telling me I have siblings.
“I wish I had siblings,” he muttered.
“I have a sibling, but our paths separated when mom adopted me because she couldn’t bear a child, and her husband left her for his mistress. Dad has a mistress, decides to live with his mistress, and leaves mom. I was young when it happened, but I know how sad mom was; she was diagnosed with depression, and I’m glad that mom’s healed.”
There’s sadness in Ken’s eyes.
“I badly want to see my sibling, but destiny doesn’t want us to meet.”
I hold his hand.
“I want to see my parents,” I said to him.
“Are you sure?”
I nodded in answer.
“I want to know what my parents look like, what kind of life they have. And how my siblings look and how behave. I wanna see them,”
Kier kisses my forehead gently.
“I’ll bring you to them.”
Because we had money and a car, we left to go where my real family was.
“That’s their house,” Ken pointed to the house in front of us.
The house is not that big, and I can tell they have a comfortable life. Its exterior door is green, and motorbikes are parked in front of the house.
“Mothercuker! What kind of child are you, huh?! You don’t know how to help me! Get out of here!”
Suddenly a woman and a man came out. The woman was angry, and she threw a slipper at the man.
"Don't go home, ah!"
"That's your mom," I looked at Ken when he spoke.
"And that man is your brother. It looks like your mom and your brother are fighting.”
I'm still looking ahead.
