Chapter 68
Part 68
Sunlight peeps inside the room, breaking the beauty sleep of Mrs.A. She frowned and opened her eyes to see her Brown-Eyed Monster sleeping closer to her, brushing his hair away from his brow and focusing on his sharp features. His pointed nose, kissable lips, and sharp bearded jaw. She felt tingly thinking about how his stubble rubbed against her thighs when he was busy savouring her.
Her eyes moved a little down to his shoulder and veiny arms, where he found the scratches of her nails, and he remembered how hardly he fucked her the previous night, but she enjoyed every bit of it. He knew how to bring the wild side out of her.
"I know I'm hot; take a picture and stare at it," she said, breaking her train of thought."You are so self-obsessed, Neil," she muttered, and he laughed.
Hearing his sudden sweet words, she raised her brows.
"Ahaa, why are you buttering me, Mr. Ahuja?" She asked and he shook his head no, "I am not buttering you, I am just telling the truth."
"Neil, I am scared," she said, all of a sudden. "And why so?" His fingers gently tucked the hair strands behind her ear.
"Maa was a little angry with me yesterday when I said that I didn't want to divorce you," she muttered, remembering the talk she had with her mother Brida. "She wasn't really opposing me but she wasn't happy either. She was like, it's your life and you are mature enough to take this decision by yourself," she further added.
"Everything will be fine, chalo," he said, and she nodded, getting out of bed. "You look hot in my shirt," he said, passing her a cheeky grin.
"I can look hotter without your shirt." Winking at him, she ran inside the washroom before he could catch her. Smirking, he got up and took out the spare keys to the bathroom.
"You think that I will leave you, huh?" She turned towards him, encircling her hands around his neck, and he locked his lips with her, kissing her softly, then roughly playing with her tongue. While she was no less, as she responded back for a second, he took the lead again, literally slamming her on the wall, and she moaned feeling his hard on pressing against hers.
"Wrap your legs around me, Anya," he commanded, breaking the kiss, and she nodded, obeying his demand.

He tried to lighten her mood."I have to stay there all alone," she muttered.
"You know Sharanya, when I was just 11, my bastard uncle and aunt sent me to boarding school. I was also scared because I didn't know anywhere there, but then I made myself strong. You are going there for study, so just do it and don't think about anything else. You know, California University is one of the best. I completed my studies there, so just kick out all the negative thoughts and take a deep breath. You want to become independent right? You want to do something on your own, so do it, Anya. It's your time now." His words were soft and soothing, which did wonders for her heart.
Kissing her forehead, he hugged her tightly. "It's just a matter of 3 years," he whispered, and she wrapped her hands around him. He was just controlling his emotions for her. He didn't want to cry in front of her.
Her phone started ringing, breaking their moment. "Hello?"
"Sharanya, we are waiting outside. Come fast, otherwise you will get late for the flight." It was Yashvi..
"Yeah yeah dii, I am coming," she said. "Neil, won't you come to drop me off at the airport?" She questioned him.
"Umm Shar.anya He lied to her because he couldn't bear the thought of her leaving him.
"Ok, all the best for your meeting," she said, and he forced himself to smile. "All the best for your future," he said.
He called his bodyguards and told them to take all her luggage outside.
She was about to leave when he stopped her, "Just a minute." His hand went to her neck as he opened her nupital chain. "What are you doing?" She asked, clutching it tightly.
"You will be Sharanya Iyer there, so it's not needed," he said, and she shook her head no. "This doesn't define who I am."
"Still, keep it with me; I'll give it to you when you return," he said as he wrapped it around his wrist, and she smiled."I'll miss you," she whispered, placing a soft kiss on his lips.
"Shut up, stop being an emotional fool." He slapped her head and she made a scowling face. "Ok, see Ishaan is calling me, so you should leave," he said, showing his phone.
Nodding, she walked out and walked inside the elevator with one of his lady staff as he didn't want to accompany her because of some sudden weird emotions.
He smiled, waving his hand, and the door of the elevator closed with a sound. The tears he was controlling just rolled down his cheek.
______________________
Travelling all alone for the first time wasn't really on her list, but here she was on a long flight to California.. She stared at his picture, which was inside her book. Filmy much? She thought then laughed while the other people were staring at her weirdly...
She submitted herself to him. It was unexpected for her also when she said she wanted him to take her. She knew that she didn't love him, but she still wanted it. Maybe she was desperate or she wanted to assure him that she was, was and would belong to him alone.
She said countless times that she hated him, but she herself knew that she didn't. She could never be.. Neil Ahuja was always special to her and no one could take his place in her life in her little heart.
When she yelled at him that day in his cabin, saying that his love was some sick obsession, she was angry. She was way more angry at him because somewhere she thought he was going to cage her or maybe he would play some more nasty games, but this time he didn't do anything. He supported her decision.
When she talked with Ishaan and Yashvi, and when Ishaan said to her, "Nandini, this time he changed for good." He himself stated that this time he "won't come between you and your dreams."
"He was just 10 When his dad died and his mom got kidnapped, his aunt and uncle sent him to boarding school. You know, when we were in university, he was also the silent person. He was a total introvert and didn't talk much with anyone. Only I and Anusha were his friends. "
He might behave rudely with you.. or shout at you, and that was his nature, but he still cares for you. And you are the only girl in his life, "Ishaan further added."
"This is not love bro, it's obsession. He is obsessed with me. He himself said today that I am toxic." He never cared for my feelings; he just knew how to order me and force me to do everything single thing, "Sharanya said."
"He lost everything in his life." First dad's mom, and then after 14 years, he found his mom, but his happiness was short-term as his mother also left the world.. I trusted Pratik, which led to a huge fight between us and even Anusha betrayed him. Sharanya was just listening keenly to him.
"He lost everything; his parents, friendships, family, and now it's only you, Sharanya." And he doesn't want to lose you. He might be obsessed with you, but his love for you is way more than some obsession, "Ishaan said softly, trying to make her understand..
"I had talked with you and Yashvi a few days back and at that time I made my mind to not divorce him. I went to his home to tell him that I was ready to give our relationship a chance, but from that day he started behaving weirdly and even shouted at me because of the California University thing."
"You didn't tell him about California University earlier?" Yashvi asked, widening her eyes.
"I didn't find it important to tell him." She answered, shrugging her shoulder.
"You didn't find it important? "Like seriously baby" Yashvi was shocked.
"So it means he is not on your priority list?" Ishaan questioned
"He tops the list," Sharanya answered. "You don't want to give it a chance. He is obsessed and blah blah blah and he still tops the list. Why Sharanya?" Yashvi questioned her younger sister.
"Oh My God, my head is spinning. Why are you both bombarding me with so many questions?" Sharanya held her head while the other two shook their heads in disbelief.
"Explain why he is important," Yashvi demanded.
Listen, I don't want to divorce him. But sometimes I am scared of him, scared of his bipolar nature. "He is a softie and another second he is a monster with a totally changed personality," Sharanya answered..
"Do you love him?" Yashvi questioned
"No it's not love, but yes I have feelings for him dii but I am scared, I am confused. I don't know. It's like I want to give it a chance but then ---ughhh just understand what I want to say. aap dono toh love guru ho na." she stared at Yashvi and Ishaan like a lost kid..
"Sharanya, you're like my younger sister..."I am not taking Neil's side but yes he has changed. He is trying to be a better man for you and now it's your call to accept him the way he is. Don't force him to become all softie because it's not his thing. Either accept him or free yourself and him from this relationship. "He gave her the advice like an elder brother..
But one more thing, Sharanya, you are the only person in his life. He isn't expressive at all, but with you he is another person.
"I am not the only person, Piyush is there with him," she said.
"Ayee ladki (girl) bhai isn't really my bhai; he's my boss and teacher; have you ever seen him talking softly to me or us having fun huh?"He is always a strict brother with me and with you. He is comfortable with you. He smiled and laughed. He is totally changed with you, Sharanya. " The owner of the voice was Piyush.
"Even though we did Facetime that day, you still saw how much effort he put into it for you." He cooked your favourite dishes and even decorated the terrace, but then at last me, Rahul, Robin, and Farhaan sara khana khaa gye because you didn't come pouring ice-cold water on my brother's efforts and feelings. "The way he said, make them laugh..
"Listen Sharanya, you don't know what is good for you and what is not, so think wisely," Piyush said, patting her as they left her in deep thought.
Flashback ends.
She was right that he had no one in his life except her, and finally she made a decision that she wouldn't divorce him, she would accept him the way he was, and she did. She decorated the terrace the way he did. She surprised him by cooking his favourite dish. She accepted him and submitted herself to him. It wasn't really in her plan, but still she wanted to give him the assurance. She wanted to create memories with him, and she did. It was for two or three days only, but they still enjoyed going out for dinners or watching some movies, going shopping or late-night street food.
She smiled, thinking about all the memories, then opened the motivational book which he gifted her to read.
