56. Blossoming Spring Days

The overwhelmed joyful function turned to unexpected distress within a minute. The crowd were dispersed and there were unnecessary rumors. Sanjay and Ruthra avoided unnecessary doubts with the business people and others because it was not nice to doubt the guest. The police cops and security guards didn't allow any one to leave the place in order to trace the culprit but to avoid misunderstanding Sanjay and Ruthra tried to make everyone leave the place because it is not right to check each and every one with their knowledge. Rudhra was cautious to find the culprit without his/her knowledge.

Many of them left the place and the police cops suspected three persons and they took them to police station with full permission of Ruthra.

After that, Sanjay and his wife went to hospital. Ruthra went to police station.

The police investigated the three suspected person but they didn't find anything in the first round of investigation. In the second round of investigation they found that one among the three was innocent. So they left him free. The other two increased the doubt the case. One was 43-45 years old man and other was 37-40 years old when woman. The police snatched the gun with bullets from them.

The police asked Ruthra to confirm the suspected persons. Ruthra and his family were not aware about them before. He investigated the case for about more than one hour and it was going on.

At the hospital

Rithick, Rahul and Nethra were standing out looking at the ICU window often. Rithick sat in the table by covering his face with his palms. Rahul seated next to him and wrapped his hand over Rithick's shoulder. Rahul and Nethra consoled him.

"Rahul, due to my carelessness.....my Neethu ...Kishore said million times....," Rithick stammered.

"Ok leave it Rithick. You are not wrong. We can't stop the destiny of our lives but one thing I am sure, Neethu will be alright. She will be back to you,"  Rahul consoled him.

Doctors diagnosed Neethu and they came out.

"Doctor!" Rithick stood up.

"Rithick, one bullet was found in her right arm and it was removed safely and she is lucky in that case but the other bullet strikes her chest and her condition was critical. So, we need a signature before an operation. So inform her parents about her condition and ask them to come soon,"

"Doctor! No no...don't say critical...Doctor, take the cash that you want but give her back to me. No formalities now, save her. I will sign the papers wherever you show,"

"Rithick, I could understand your situation but her condition was critical. It is important to inform her  parents. If something happens to her the hospital is not responsible for that," the doctor said genuinely.

"Doctor, you are my dad's best friend and how could you say such things to me doctor?"

"No Rithick, don't mistake me. I will try my best but I can't assure," said the doctor hopelessly.

"Ok. You will give her back to us, doctor. I have the hope," said Rithick with tearful eyes.

The doctor went inside the ICU ward.

"Rahul, I can't tolerate this. Be with me Rahul. I am helpless," Rithick sobbed like a child. His hands were shivering due to tension.

"I am with you Rithick. Don't worry please," Rahul said with concern.

Few minutes later, the operation was started..

In the police station...

"Who are you? Did there is link between you both? Tell me the truth" Ruthra warned in anger.

The two people didn't open their mouth.

"I know how to bring the truth from your mouth so better tell me the truth before I lose my control," Ruthra warned again.

"Excuse me sir, He won't open his mouth if we request them. Let me show my punch. Kindly grant me the permission sir," said the policeman.

"Are you going to get beatings or tell me the truth?" Ruthra warned them.

They didn't show any response again.

The policeman pulled his hair and gave punch in his face and held the collar bone.

"Sir, leave me I will tell," said the man.

"As Ruthra sir suspected, we didn't come to marriage. We are married couples belongs to normal family. We did this to save our daughter's life. We don't know more than that,sir. Leave us sir. Save our girl," said the man with tearful eyes.

"Who said to do this act? How selfish act you have played to save your daughter? You decided to kill a person right. Do you know what punishment you will get for this planned cruel act?" Asked the policeman seriously.

"We don't know their names or anything about that person, sir. We didn't even see them for once. They kidnapped our daughter and demanded as to follow them through mobile. To save our girl we did this," the woman confessed the truth.

"If someone threaten you it is necessary to complaint to the police, don't you know that? Instead you are ready to kill. It is cruel. Give the mobile," Ruthra snatched the mobile and verified whether they are right.

"Yes! They are right. They get many calls from a particular number about two days. Trace everything regarding that and tell me shortly," Ordered Ruthra

"Ok sir!"

The policeman started tracing the call to get the call.

In the hospital

"Rahul, I will never allow the person who is responsible for Neethu's situation. I want her back. I can't able to tolerate this Rahul. Ask the doctor to inject me something to make me unconscious still Neethu gets ok," Rithick murmured as he can't control himself. Each minute seems to be an hour for him.

"Don't talk like that Rithick. Neethu will be ok very soon," Nethra consoled Rithick.

"We shouldn't leave those who is responsible for it. Even if something happens to me, I will never bother. Inform everything to Ruthra uncle about Shantra and John. So that he may be able to find easily,"

"Ok Rithick. I have doubt with those person. I will inform Rithick,"

In the police station

Rahul talked to his dad just before a minute about Shantra and John. He gave some clues that matches with the clues they got before from those persons. They first traced phone number. It was currently not reachable and the signal was cut. The police traced the phone and the signal was cut after 5 minutes of that incident but the person who was caught now didn't call after that then how did they became alert and phone signal was cut. The news was spread outside only after 25 minutes of the incident. Then, how did they became alert. Did they are the culprit? Or any other known or unknown enemies of Sanjay.

The police traced the phone number to get the address but it went in vain everything was fake. The culprit was very clever didn't leave any clue to identify him.

The investigation was going in different angles. They planned for Secret investigation with Manoj, Shantra, John, unknown phone number's owner etc etc.

In the Hospital

Rithick's mom and aunty reached the hospital. They were much worried about Neethu's health.

"Mom, I want my Neethu"

"She is yours. Don't worry Rithick. Don't lose your hopes, it will kill you in alive. She will be back," Rithick's mom gave some confidence to him.

The time passed by very slowly.

After two hours...The doctors came out

"The operation is successful. She is perfectly alright. We have removed the other bullet too. It is very risky for us but we did with full spirit. Don't need to disturb her now," said the doctor.

Rithick along with his family members were very happy. They were waiting out to see Neethu.

"Mom! Is it necessary to inform to her parents? We can take care of her," said Rithick.

"Of course we can take care of her. She is my daughter too but her parents should know about her. So let us wait until she became alright,"

"Ok mom. Thanks"

In the police station

"We are almost close to the culprit.  Soon we are going to arrest them without their knowledge. The most unexpected person has also a link with it. After getting all the proofs, without the delay arrest whoever responsible for it and report to all the media to tear down their mask," Ruthra ordered.

"Ok sure. It is our duty sir,"

After a week

In the hospital

Neethu was discharged for ICU ward and she was transferred to normal ward. Her health was recovering faster. Rithick's family was taking care of her very well. The doctor prescribed best medicines that helps Neethu to be back to her life. Except Rithick, others everyone would go to home and came back to hospital. Rithick was together with Neethu for the whole week.

Rithick's mom will bring food for Neethu as suggested by the doctors and she feeds food to Neethu. Rithick felt very happy by seeing their relationship. Everyone take care of Neethu very well. Riya and Kishore often visited the hospital to check up Neethu. Nethra and Rahul were almost in the hospital.

Rithick was very much affectionate towards Neethu than before. Neethu was very happy to see everyone's love and care for her.

The doctors checked Neethu's health and they permitted her to discharge from the hospital after two days.

In the meeting

Sanjay was in international meeting with business tycoons. He signed some agreement to expore his new ideas worldwide. Many businessmen from different countries attended the meeting to have deal with Sanjay.

In between,Sanjay got call from his brother Ruthra. He paused the meeting and attended Ruthra's call.

"Sanjay, I need the phone contacts of the person those who we invited for the reception function. It is something urgently. Make it fast,"

"Ok, Did you have any doubt with anyone? You will never discuss with me anything regarding your work and now surprising. I am sure that you have almost find the culprit,"

"You are right Sanjay. I found out the culprit but I need proof to make them to be safely imprisoned. I am sorry, officially I can't discuss anything with you,"

"It is ok brother," Sanjay hanged the call.

Sanjay asked his P.A to forward the contacts to Ruthra.

Sanjay continued the meeting and make the deal successfully. His minds recalls about Ruthra's call. Both Ruthra's friends and Sanjay's friends and business people were invited. His call confirmed that the culprit was from Sanjay's circle. He was confused and checked his contacts but he didn't get doubt on anyone. He pushed his chair back and laid his head on the soft cushion in the top of the chair thinking about the fake friend who betrayed him to take his son away from him. While thinking, his mind strikes him with the past memories. Manoj face flashes - Manoj's challenge - to kill his son - Sanjay safeguard his son to Bengaluru with the help of his friend.

Sanjay's Flashback

After Manoj's challenge and his imprisonment, I missed my peaceful mind worrying about my son all the time. I never allow anyone dare to touch my son still I have unknown fear so I arranged safeguards for Rithick wherever he go without his knowledge. Still I didn't find peace but I am ok.

One day, I found a piece of unnamed letter in my personal file. There written, "Your son will be hanged to death. I am waiting for that moment Sanjay. Guess me if you are dare enough. You can't definitely," It was a shocking letter. Who kept this letter though there were security guards in almost everywhere and CCTV camera in almost everyplaces? If I fire out all the employees it will make the situation more worst. First, I have to find who has written? If I doubt my employees and the culprit will become alert So I pretended like I didn't read anything and behaved casually. I informed everything to Ruthra and he handled secretly. We didn't get any clue but we are sure that one of Manoj's spy was working here and he kept it erasing the evidence.

Days passed but we didn't get any clue. I got two unnamed letter like that. I knew one of Manoj's spy is here and he is helping him. I have to find out that. Also, I don't have much time to spend in my office alone.

One day, I got a call from my friend, who was once my co-partner.

"Hello, Sanjay. How about you?"

"I am good. How about you? And any news?"

"I am good Sanjay. As I told you before, I have opened a college in Bengaluru. It is because of you, Sanjay. You helped me in all my down time. I am always grateful for you, Sanjay. You are the chief guest for opening ceremony of college and followed by that there is an inauguration function for first year students, you should attend the function Sanjay. It is my humble request. I know you are busy and you don't have time for it but still I expected your presence Sanjay. so I informed you earlier and give your appointment as soon as possible, Sanjay. I am kindly awaiting for your presence," said his friend.

" It is great to hear. I valued friendship and I will be there definitely. It is my pleasure to be there because it is great thing to give education to someone and book my appointment too. From my side, I will gift you with some amount. Kindly accept that," I said and asked my P.A to transact the amount to him so that it will be helpful for someone to get education.

On that day, Rithick met with an accident. By God's grace nothing happened to him. Ruthra was sure that it was a planned accident. Rithick's passion in bike riding grew day by day but after this incident I stopped him but he refused. Then, his mom convinced him and he left it for his mom's happiness. Again and again Rithick was targeted and it disturbed me completely. I can't concentrate in my work.

After a week, I came up with an idea that giving higher education to Rithick will help me to shift this place to safely place. I can't convince Rithick and his mom other than this idea because kalpana will never allow him to stay apart. So I have choosen this and talk with Ruthra about it. He was very much convinced and asked me to proceed it further. Kalpana and Rithick were not aware of it, I convinced Kalpana somehow and she convinced Rithick for higher education. For his support and companion, Rahul was ready to have his higher education together with Rithick. I accepted that because it will help Rahul to overcome his bitter memories that happened in his life.

I felt Bengaluru was safe for him and my friend's college will help to overcome the situation. I talk to my friend overnight and got two admissions for Rithick and Rahul. I got promised from my friend that Rithick's identity should not be revealed out and no one should know that he is my son. Also, Rithick should be treated same as other students. My Friend agreed it immediately.

After that I feel safe and happy for my son. Ruthra and Rahul was taking care of Rithick very well.

In between, something stripped my thoughts. Rithick's accident again-his major operations-Ruthra predicted that it was 100 percent planned tragedy and now again bullets targeted towards Rithick and he was saved by the Girl. Who is she? She replaced her lives for my son. I went two days to see her in hospital and inquired about her health conditions daily to Kalpana. That girl was something close to my heart, more or less she is like my daughter. Automatically, a smile occupied me.

A phone call makes me to come out to the present. It was Ruthra.

"Sanjay, we get proper evidence and arrested three of them. Come to station as soon as possible. In between, Manoj is going to get release from Jail by next week," Rudhra said in serious tone.

"Ok I will come now,"

Manoj's last words echoed in his mind "The day when we meet again will be the most unexpected day in your life, Sanjay. You will be under my feet,"

In the police station

Shantra and John spurgen were arrested. The girl who was kidnapped by them for threatening her parents was released and she was safe now.

The other one who got arrested was an unexpected man, Ashok Deshponde.

What is the link between the three? Everything will be discussed in court, next week.
