Chapter 10 Bursting out
“No, no, never.” I continuously opposed the idea and my mind again remembered the feeling of his lips gliding on mine. His beating heart; below my chest, that resonating peaceful sound. The way I was molded on his body; I am experiencing the same pull again in air.
“Then why are you blushing pink?” he asked, while closing the distance between us.
“I am not.” I refused, shaking my head in negative.
“Yes, you are fiocco din eve (snowflake).” He called me something in Italian again. Why does he always say something in Italian when he knows very well that I don’t understand Italian at all.
“NO. Mr. Accardo. Its weather.” I spoke adamantly, but we both very well know the truth.
“Ok, let’s test your theory.” He insisted while resting his both hands beside the wall of the parapet, leaning down at me, brushing his rough stubble over my cheeks while chuckling at him. Immediately my hands went to oppose him, but as I knew it wouldn't affect him, I tried to sneak between his hand and the wall. I almost sneaked, but he snaked his hand around my waist and pressed my back to his chest forcefully.
“NO, Mr. Accardo. It’s not right.” I requested. What does he actually want from me?
“Oh, it’s not right then why are your heart beats so loud?” I asked, while tightening his grip on me. A loud gasp came out from behind me as I felt his lips over my shoulder. His lips turned into a smile after hearing my response to him without waiting for anything. He dragged his lips from my shoulder to neck, neck to my cheeks. Ripples of pleasure and shiver passed over my body making me forget me.
“Why does your body shiver whenever I touch you?” he questioned as I knew the answer to it. My mind was only on the motion of his hand moving from my waist to trace my curves and other caressing the neck and shoulder. The sanitation of his touch just increased the Goosebumps rose on my body.
“Why are you still leaning on me even after my grip on you is loose?” he plants a kiss on my neck while saying that. These words kept me shocked, making me come out of his daze and compose myself around him. As soon as I regained my composure, I pushed him with all my strength and started walking towards the door. He held my wrist and jerked me upon him again, making me hold him around his neck.
“Have I told you to leave?” he questioned and I was just able to nod in negative.
“Then?” he mouthed near my neck, gripping me tight around his waist. My breath hitched as his hold increased immensely, pushing me further in him as he wanted to merge me into himself.
“I was drunk so, nothing counts.” I dared to speak in front of him without caring about the consequences.
“Go ahead.” He gave me permission to keep my point of view in front of him. It’s new to me, but I am glad that at least he wanted to listen.
“I want to be professional and it’s better if we forget last night.” He didn’t react for a while. Just buried his face in my neck inhaling me in him like memories of me holding me as close as possible he could and suddenly his grip on me was lost. I don’t know what it was, but I didn’t like that feeling at all.
“We will see until now. Get ready for tomorrow’s lunch meeting.” he ordered, as I got the chance to sneak from there. I took and literally ran away from him and hid myself in an elevator. I was breathing difficult, even in his absence.
I came into my office and started working again, but this time he was distracting me more than before. I soon realized that I had to deal with this feeling as it will not be going away soon from my head. I needed the entire day to complete that work with a headache disturbance from him. It’s nearly time to go home; I thought of calling Theo as I haven’t spoken to him and it will be really refreshing to speak to him. I packed my stuff and headed out of my office, but saw a smiling Theo near my office with my usual coffee. Damn, I needed it right now. He forwarded it towards me as he knows how much I am craving it right now.
“You are an angel.” I thanked him indirectly. He gave a tight hug.
“Only if you like a wing-less one.” I burst out laughing hearing his reply and nodded in agreement with him.
“We had a blast last night. We should go there regularly.” He reminded me of him again. Theo didn’t know as he passed out before my time, but I don’t want to repeat that again ever. I didn’t reply to him and got into the car. We drove to the office as I successfully distracted his mind from last night to my upcoming deal as it was very important for the company and I had to do almost every work. Theo gives tips and explains a lot of work to me. We chatted for a long time.
“Ok Theo, you have dinner?” I reminded him of his dinner with his client as he forgets about it. He nodded at me and hugged me again.
“We will go out soon.” He told me and kissed my cheek, but both of us trembled as we heard a thunderous roar of Mr. Accardo.
“ARIA.”
I and Theo were both startled hearing the thunderous sound of Mr. Accardo. I turned to witness his deadly form; veins popped out of his neck, making him look scarier than I could ever imagine. Why is he this angry? Aria? Who is Aria? Is he calling me that? Theo instinctively took a few steps backward immediately from me, standing at an appropriate distance.
Mr. Accardo looking at him as a Tiger looks at his prayers to make Theo shrink in his position. His every step was increasing the heart rate. The fire blazing in his eyes was directed towards Theo. He was walking in a slow and calculated manner as he was imagining the way he was going to treat him; changing a pleasant atmosphere into a suffocating one. I never saw him this angry in these few months. He is out-of-control right now; I have to save Theo from him. Theo doesn’t have any experience handling this beast. It’s good that he was at the end of the corridor.
“Theo, leave now.” He jerked his face at me with confusion. I need to convince him to leave now or it will be too late and that monster will do something irreparable. He was just shaking his head in a negative way.
“Go, I will talk to you later,” I told him adamantly. He was so perplexed by the situation that he couldn’t connect anything. I pushed him into the nearby elevator and pushed one button. I looked back to see him increase his pace with time. He was standing right in front of me with his flaring nostrils in anger. What happened when he was so angry? His nails were biting, digging into his palm; his clenched teeth transformed him into a devil.
I was hoping for him to scream at me or something louder, but he was shut for a few moments just observing me and my micro-expressions keenly with a step distance from me. As I tried to take a step back, his rough hand dragged me with my arm. I was so taken aback by his move that I couldn’t realize that it’s happening to me. Speaking of nothing, he just started walking, dragging along with me. What the hell is wrong with this man?
“Leave me Mr. Accardo. Leave me now.” I was struggling in his grip, but it didn’t affect him. I tried to remove his hand from my arm with my other hand but it just made my struggle worse as he firmer his hold on me. Stinging pain is erupting as I could feel his bone-crushing grip making me wince.
“Stop it, Mr. Accardo, all the employees are watching.” I was pleased, but my requests went unheard by him. He just increased his pace. Everyone was watching in shock, but one dared to stop him. His hold was so tight that my eyes slowly became damp due to continuing passing ripples of pain through my arm. He kicked open the door of his office and jerked me inside, pinning me at the door with his body, trapping every passing air on our way.
His angered breathing was fanning my face. I raised my hands to push him, but he was quick enough to catch them and pin them on the top of my head. His eyes were full of hate, disgust, or something like that, but it wasn’t for me. Before I could speak anything, his lips landed roughly over mine. What the fuck? What does he think of himself? Instinctively, my lips went rigid, and I kept them close, protesting his kiss.
Teardrops started rolling down as I shut them tightly. He didn’t stop kissing me so; I turned my head away from him, breaking the kiss successfully. I thought he would stop now; but he held me both hands with his one and his other hand went around my neck to control my movements, again crashing his lips over mine with greater pressure than before.
My muffles went reaching his ear as he went numb from the surroundings. A teardrop slipped between our lips, stopping his assault over mine, allowing me to breathe a little. He was staring at my tears with shock and hate.
“If you want your so-called friend to breathe a few more days, then kiss me back.” He raged, keeping his mouth just a few millimeters away from me. His words were enough for me to shake my balance and to take initiative in this kiss.
I gasped as he slid his hand across my waist and crushed our fronts to mold them in one. Hesitantly, I placed my lips over him and they started moving automatically. The feeling of my lip trapped and sucked between his made me lose everything I was holding so far. That familiar taste of him reminded me of how heaven feels like.
The chaotic calmness of my thundering heart over his; blurred all lines I had drawn between us. He left his grip over my hand and both of them went around my waist tracing every inch they could. I held around his neck to support and to get the best angle.
