Chapter 50 A Step Closer To Fate
Arius Accardo’s pov,
A deep smile forged over my lips as soon as my gaze landed on the mirror in front of where a breathtaking red stain she left on my jaw last night. She took her revenge and drained her anger. I know it was my mistake to trigger her, but the result was in my favor. As I used to expose it, I Left the bathroom without closing the uppermost button.
I looked at her sleeping figure on the bed, my heart calmed down watching her relaxed and deep in the land of dreams with me. I am sorry, my Snowflake. One of the things I have to do to ensure your protection is my marriage. Wait for me, I will be with you again as soon as I finish this task of marriage.
There was weird congestion rising in me regarding her. For you, I can do it, even though I didn’t want to. You can stay with me until the end. I kissed her lips before covering her with a warm duet and left the room.
Sab was standing outside of the door with his usual stern face and the machine gun holding high. He nodded and stood straight with his back against the wall.
“Sab, don’t let her leave her room until I say so.” He nodded in agreement. I had appointed him as the personal bodyguard of her, after my family and Nicole, only he is. I could trust with my Snowflake.
Her words last night’s words tired my soul. The need for me in her life surfaced, yet she was reminded of my marriage with another girl. Was it so easy for her to give me up for any random girl she didn’t even know? I don’t think so. The way she yelled her love for me in front of my family showed another picture.
Ronald Bianchi, who works under us and handles the eastern part of Italy for a long time, yet we weren’t confident about it. He came with the marriage proposal last week to strengthen the bond. I agreed. I had doubts he was helping Salvatore to take us down.
“You remember? I lost. I thought you would forget about your wedding with that bitch after what happe-” Marc stopped further as he saw me glaring at him. He was betting on me. Her screams came to my mind as I was descending the stairs.
Her heart and soul were much easier to understand than her smart ass mind. I didn’t understand. She always tries to stay away from me, yet fails. Damn, every time I touch her, look at her. Even her last night’s confession didn’t break her oath of this ritual, and she sank, saying I won’t be her anymore.
“ARIUS,” I was startled hearing Nicole almost yell by my side. He gulped down when he looked at my furious breathing and stoic face.
“We need to leave for church.” He murmured and turned around, walking towards Alex standing at the door. She raised her head and looked at me with a worried face. Her eyes were red, and Nicole rubbed her shoulders before they walked outside.
I know she didn’t want me to marry her, and indeed tried to convince me and father to stop it, even though we didn’t. Whatever the result, I am just aiming to secure her in my arms until the end.
“Is everything ready?” Marc nodded, buttoning his tux, and got up and we walked towards the car standing outside the door. I was more curious about the absence of my father’s reaction. I had decided against his blood contract, but he was calm. Maybe because she knew nothing about the real identity of Elena. I wondered what he would do when he found out.
I looked at the pure white building in front of me, which people call a church. It was my first time watching it with this closeness. Alex cringed as the armed bodyguards covered every corner when he entered it.
James Binachi, the Son of Ronald Binachi and brother of the girl I was going to marry, his men were all over the place. It was expected. Wait, what was the girl’s name?
“What's her name?” I asked. Leaning towards the Marc in a suppressed tone as James was standing in front of the door waiting for us, but stupidly Marc burst into laughter. He tried to suck air and control his laugh but failed miserably.
“Bro, first you came to marry her carrying this huge hickey over your lower jaw and today you asked me this.” His face was blamed for radiating the happiness of I forgot her easily.
“How does it matter? The pasture will tell you. Forget about it now.” He waved away carelessly. James walked up with his clenched jaw, as his stare was focused on my neck. His tight fist was soothing me and Marc deeply.
“Everyone is waiting for you. You are two hours late.” His every struggle to suppress the venom he was oozing from his mouth failed.
“I came. Isn’t it a huge thing for you? Let’s go. Finish this stupid thing. My Snowflake is waiting for me, and I don’t want her to wake up in my absence.” I enjoyed his venomous face suppressing his anger as I mentioned about my Snowflake. Marc choked his air while breathing at my words, but hid his smile.
I walked in, ignoring him, and saw everything was ready. Church was decorated lightly with white flowers and only both families were present beside the priest who was trying his best not to run away.
“Call the damn girl.” I ordered James, who followed me, and turned to leave. Father watched my behavior, yet he said nothing and continued his talk with Ronald. He was the man who could.
trade his respect for money, and this time it was his daughter who also sold her dignity like her father by agreeing to marry me.
‘You were right, Capo. He took over the entrance security.’ Terance buzzed in my ear plug. My lips stretched hearing his words. My suspicion was right.
He had ulterior motives for this wedding. He must increase the territory that he controls. What else could these bastards do?
Nicole coughed as we all were wearing it. They heard it too. One mistake and their head will be decorated on the gate of my mansion. A music took our attention, and my soon to be wife walked down the aisle. She was covered in while vile, her shaky steps were wide clear to display her fear. She was clutching James’ hand.
“Walk faster.” Father’s comment speeded the process. She stood in front of me, pinning her eyes to the floor. Anxious, James handed her hand in mine and stood behind her. His chest was swelling and dropping and his eyes were landing on his watch.
Nicole was appointed to protect my little princess Alex, Marc and father could handle themselves, so I was free to unleash myself. She shuddered as my grip on her hand tightened. Pasture was taking forever to complete his damn speech. I tired my Snowflake a lot last night, and I want to be inside her before she opens her gorgeous eyes to welcome her in our usual way.
BAMMMMMMMMMM
Entire church shook, taking a few pillars converting them into boulders all over. I lost my balance and fell from the stage and the girl tried to hold me while deafening me with her screeching screams.
FUCK, he dared to attack.
