A misunderstanding
Will
Since I received the news that I would be playing Wanchai, and that one of his characteristics was that he was too distracted to understand that the hottest guy in college only accepted to be his fake Date because he was really interested in him, I started thinking a lot about how I felt in the past, and accepting that I could not lie to myself.
The novel shows how confused my character's feelings were about being a romantic couple, and how patient Thirasak was in waiting and understanding Wanchai in such a beautiful way. My story with Nate was similar, and life imitated art, and there are so many similarities between the two of us, and our characters, that sometimes I believe we were born to live those characters.
Wanchai brought me a different perspective, and understanding his feelings helped me to accept mine. He is passionate about music, and one of his favorite songs, Your Smile, has lyrics loaded with feelings that leave you feeling light—hearted and in love even if you are not, and which reflect Wanchai and Thirasak's relationship. In its lyrics, the song shows the beginning of everything, when Thirasak saw Wanchai for the first time, and was enchanted by his smile, it was love at first sight. It took Thirasak almost a year to find Wanchai again, and he spent all this time looking for him, his search is sad and poetic at the same time.
Unlike Thirasak and Wanchai, when I saw Nate, I felt a grudge at first sight, but then things changed between us, and today his smile, the way he looks at me, makes me forget about anything, no matter how important it is, and when we are together, I feel like a complete idiot in love.
When you look and smile at me Time stops and I forget everything and that makes me think that, the most important thing is
being with you
After the intense moments of sex, we took a shower, I mean, that was the initial idea, but we did something else before the shower, let's just say my boyfriend was up for a third time. After spending our energies on something so productive, I watch him sleeping next to me, his head lying on my shoulder, his hand clutching my waist, I caress his face lightly so he doesn't wake up. This makes me light, and sleep finally comes to me.

My sleep is graced by loud knocks on the door, someone knocks with the intention of knocking it down. I get up for good with the noise, Nate looks at me startled.
— What is it, Will? — just as he asks, I hear a voice speaking in the direction of the door.
— Will, wake up! Did you forget your lunch?
— What lunch, Will? — Nate asks.
— What a dope! Lunch at my grandparents' house! — I say, looking at my boyfriend, then a knock on the door catches my attention. — Nate, I'm going to open the door, and I think you better hide in the closet!
He does as I ask, and I open the door. There is no one there, I look down the hallway, and spot my mother further ahead, she sees me and approaches me.
— I thought Sleeping Beauty would still be in bed!
— Did you need all that noise?
— Yes I did, you didn't wake up. — he says and watches me. — What is that on your body?
— What?
— That pile of staining all over his neck and chest.
— It was nothing!
— Nothing? Did you bring any girls while we were gone? Is there someone there with you? — I actually brought a boy, I mean, Lyn let him sneak in, and we had sex all night, and it was the best night of my life. But I don't have the heart to say it!
— No, Mom, I would never bring anyone home. There is no one here with me!
— Don't lie to me, Wirakan! They are hickeys, and they look fresh, there is someone there with you! — Before she can try anything, I am saved by my father, who calls her to help him with something. — Your father is calling me... Hurry up, or you'll be late!
— You can go ahead, I'm still going to take a shower and stop by a friend's house, so I'll be late anyway!
[...]
— What's all this? — Nate asks me as I place the tray between his legs.
— Breakfast, baby!
— Will, don't you have lunch at your grandparents' house?
— Yes, but I told you I would be late... And now, I want to spend some time with my boyfriend! — I say and sit down beside him, I bring my hand to his hair, and caress it lightly. — Are you okay?
— Why wouldn't I be? — he asks and looks at me.
— Nate, I'm serious! Yesterday, today... Come to think of it, how much time we've spent...
— It doesn't matter! What matters is the quality...
— So how do you like it, kitten? — I ask, and Nate stares at me, then turns his face away, staring straight ahead.
— Of course I liked it, if I didn't, we wouldn't have repeated it, and especially not in the bathroom!
— Is it because you suddenly became shy? — I ask, while he continues to stare at nothing.
— Oh, Will... I'm not shy! — he answers and continues looking at nothing, but something catches my attention.
— You're not shy, and why are your ears red, kitten? — I ask, and he smiles, and then looks at me.
— Okay, I'm feeling a little ashamed!
— Why? Did I do something that made you uncomfortable? Is that what I'm asking now?
— It's not that, it's just... It's weird! When you put the tray here, I remembered that I have done this before, but with girls...
— I see, and that made you uncomfortable? — I ask, he looks at me intensely, brings his hand to my face, strokes it.
— No. I think I'm going to sound repetitive, but it's all very new to me, besides having to free myself from so many stupid ideas, and you know how reluctant I was to accept that I liked you, and also in relation to... To...
— Sex? — I ask, and he shakes his head in agreement. I come closer, hold his hand, caress his fingers. — It's new to me too, but I want you to know. that you and I were amazing yesterday!
— You know, this is too cliché! You're like those guys in the movies, in the books, who, when they have sex for the first time with the girl, they get all mushy and careful...
— Nate, don't you know how to be romantic? — I ask, and look at him in a serious way, and he smiles. — I don't want to sound cliché, because I'm actually a walking cliché, so I think you better get used to it!
— Will, let's change the subject?
I let out a laugh before asking.
— Is your ear red again, kitten?
— I want to change the subject, Will!
— Damn it, Nate! I miss that guy from yesterday, so caring, so seductive... What happened to him?
— It's just that yesterday, I don't know, I think I was possessed! — he says and smiles.
— By some fiery spirit? — I ask, and he automatically slaps me lightly on the head.
— Oh, Pussycat! That hurts, you are so mean to me! — I speak, using my voice as slyly as possible, and then run my hand down my neck and chest. — Look, what have you done to me?
He swallows the instant noodles, looks at my face, and at my
chest.
— We're even, because you did the same to me! — he says and pulls down the collar of his shirt, showing the marks of the hickeys I gave him.
— It is the result of a beautiful night of sex between a couple in love, kitten! — I speak, he smiles and approaches me.
His gaze falls to my mouth, and soon I feel his lips touch mine. A tender kiss. I give way to his tongue, and the tender kiss goes away, and his lips seem to want to devour mine with a ferocity. His tongue slips out of mine, and he pulls lightly on my lower lip with his teeth, and releases. He smiles, and uses his intimidating gaze on me.
My breathing is short.
— Pussycat, later you say that you still feel embarrassed when I speak, but this kiss is to make me hard! — I say and he just smiles. I bring my hands to his hair, and caress him. — Ergh... But are you really okay?
— Why are you asking this?
— Oh Nate, you know what I'm talking about!
— I'm fine, just a little sore... Did you think I wouldn't be able to walk? — he asks and smiles. — Now, shall we eat?
— Yes. Do you remember we have the trip for the last recordings?
— Of course. P'Tan told me that we will stay at a lodge in the Erawan National Park, and all the actors will share a room.
— With a double bed?
— Of course not, Will! — he says, brings his hand to my face, and with his thumb caresses my mouth. — But we can make our beds together, Bunny!

On the way to his house, I think about the last events, and the moments we spent together invade my thoughts, and pack my journey. If I try to close my eyes, I can still see his smile, my heart seems to overflow with this feeling, and I was infected by Nate, during all the time I spent at my grandparents' house until this moment.
My mother's insistence that I take pictures with everyone at lunch, especially Kanya, who I honestly didn't understand what she was doing there, since her family wasn't invited. I don't know if the lunch was really a bore, or I just couldn't concentrate on anything else, and all the time I was remembering the moments we spent together, their moans, their smell, and their kisses. This leads me to believe that I am addicted to Nate.
Something worries me. Since I dropped him off the day before at his place, everything went wrong. My cell phone died, I couldn't reach him, I left a message on Lyn's cell phone, but he didn't answer, it seemed to be switched off, I even tried his mother's, and nothing. I stop at the light, and a nagging feeling comes into my mind. Nate must be upset with me, imagining things, because to my bad luck, my cell phone fell into the pool while I was trying to talk to him at my grandparents' house, I was so distracted that I didn't notice my cousin going in the same direction as me, we bumped into each other and the device decided to swim in that blue immensity. I did a lot of things to get it working again, but the poor thing is gone, and now I have to pick up my boyfriend, and then buy another cell phone.

After finding no one at his house and rushing out of the mall, I finally reach the parking lot of the broadcasting station and find him leaning against his car. My heart seems to want to burst out of my chest when I look at him, who is wearing nothing else besides jeans and the usual green sweatshirt. The question is not what he is wearing, but him. A silly smile forms on my face, and I approach, but he doesn't seem to notice my presence.
— Hi! — I say, and he looks at me with an angry expression. — I know you are angry, it wasn't my fault...
— Of course not, because you are smelly and nice! — he releases this sentence before I can explain myself, looking even angrier.
— I don't understand!
— Oh sure, because... — before he completes his sentence, we are interrupted.
— Nate, Will, it's time! — someone from production calls us.

I just don't know what happened to Nate, I don't understand his attitude, he spent the whole trip without talking to me. He just sat down, closed his eyes and slept. At the same situation, he avoided me the whole time, just left his suitcase in the room and left without telling me. I tried to configure the new cell phone, but unfortunately I didn't have time. We had to take advantage of the sunset to record some scenes.
It was a tiring afternoon and early evening. We shot a lot of scenes, went over text, but Nate just stuck to the craft, at no point did he report to me to say what was going on, or that we need to talk. Relationships are made of dialogues, and if he doesn't like something, he has to tell me, and we will discuss the problem, and try to solve it.
After getting to the room, taking a shower, sitting on the bed waiting for him, I decide to set up my new cell phone. After doing all the steps, and downloading the Apps, I finally log into some social networks. I see some updates on Twitter, and then I log into Instagram. To my surprise, I realize what the problem is with my boyfriend being annoyed. My mom posted a picture of me with Kanya, thankfully she didn't tag me, because that would draw too much attention, but she used a very distasteful caption for the picture. "Don't they make a perfect couple?", and to make matters worse, the comments from relatives, friends, strangers, and especially Kanya, and also her mother. "He is smell and nice," Kanya commented, and her mother write "My future son—in—law is perfect!"
All this nonsense, combined with the fact that he must have called me, and I didn't answer because my cell phone was out of order, has upset Nate. I keep waiting for him, but he doesn't show up, he is probably avoiding me. I don't think I will insist, because any problem will affect our work. The only thing I can do at this point is to reply to the post and the stupid comments.

— What did you ask for, Thirasak?
— I asked, that if I could see you again, I would show you the video I made!
The whole scene takes place inside a car, waiting for the rain to pass to get out. We are wet, and all this after my character has had a fight with Nate's character, and runs out into the rain. Nate, I mean Thirasak, apologizes for thinking that he was to blame for the bad things that had been happening between them. Thirasak assumes that he made a promise and didn't keep it. This scene makes me too emotional, since I am trying to approach Nate, to clarify everything, and to apologize, but since we got here, he approaches me professionally, and nothing else.
Then he shows a video he recorded for Wanchai the day he first saw him. He says in the video that he decided to sing that song because he was charmed by his smile, and I just smile like a fool as I watch Nate, I mean Thirasak, saying all those things and singing for me, I mean for Wanchai.
Nate looks at me tenderly.
— After that I went to all the school festivals that I knew of, just to look for you. But I didn't find you, and my friend told me to make a promise, and if I found you again I would have to show the video. That's the story, but I was too embarrassed to show it!
Your character shows the video, at the end, the script says that Thirasak must confess that he likes Wanchai, and that I must also say that I like him.
— I am completely in love with you, Wanchai!
— I am in love with you too, Thirasak!
We look at each other for a few seconds, he brings his face closer to mine, and my lips touch his gently. The script calls for a gentle kiss, just a touch of the lips, but I'm kissing my boyfriend, so I don't need to be that professional. My tongue enters his mouth, meeting his, and that feeling of home is back, after all, it has been two days since I kissed him. He stops the kiss, I open my eyes, we look at each other intensely.
— How nice that you asked, and your promise brought us together!
— Actually what brought us together was the bet you made...
— A foolish bet! Who ever heard of betting that anyone at the university would fall in love with me, I'm a fool!
— You are the most beautiful fool I know, Wanchai!
The scenic rain stops. We get out of the car. I walk in front of the car, and it stops beside me, I look up at the sky, and gaze at the moon.
— I don't think anything bad will ever happen again. — he says and strokes my hair, wraps his arm around my neck, and looks up at the sky. — It's so beautiful!
— Yeah, but you're as beautiful as the sky! — my character says.
— Foolish... — he says, caresses my face, and then we embrace, a tender embrace that leaves me light. And so we say goodbye to the characters who changed our lives forever.
After the director says the infamous "Cut", the whole crew celebrates with us, it's so surreal. I started recording, I didn't know what to expect, I didn't know where it would take me, and now I'm here, happy and sad at the same time, but very fulfilled. The series is a success, I am famous, not only in my country, but in other places I never imagined. Besides, I met this guy next to me, who made my head spin, and makes my world happier.

I come out of the bathroom drying my hair. I look at the bed next to mine, he is lying down, probably pretending to be asleep, because when I entered the bathroom, he was still drying his hair. How come he's already asleep? I approach the bed, sit down beside him, turn on the lamp, pull the sheet away from his face.
— I know you're awake, Nate! I also know that you are very angry, and you have been ignoring me these days because of what my mom posted, and the stupid comments. But I've had no way to communicate with you, my cell phone is down, and.... — I say, and he suddenly opens his eyes and sits up in bed.
— Is that the excuse you're going to use, Wirakan?
— It's not an excuse! I lost my cell phone, it fell into the pool at my grandparents' house, I texted you on my sister's cell phone, and you didn't answer...
— I was tired, slept all day, and when I woke up I came across this post, called you, and nothing. I saw your sister's message the other day. I was pissed off with the posts, I am still pissed off!
— I already explained it to you, kitten! Don't be like that, it wasn't my fault!
— Are you sure you didn't make a pass at her, or say anything stupid, so that your mother would think she is the ideal daughter—in— law for her son?
I come closer, bring my hand up to his face, and caress it lightly.
— There is no ideal daughter—in—law, there is an ideal son—in—law for her son... And, it is you!
When I hear his voice, Light up the darkness of my heart, There is no reason for me to be alone Because I know I have you
