Jake’s POV
After the bonfire, Tav fell asleep in my arms. I smiled as I watched her sleep and realised that I am falling in love with my best friend.
Seth’s POV
I tried to swallow the jealously that’s building up in my heart.
Seeing Tav in Jacob’s arm made me want to grimace. I am sure that nobody in the pack imprinted on Tav, which means I wouldn’t hurt any of my pack members for the fact that I am in love with her.
I thought I imprinted on Tav before, but unfortunately I didn’t. The only person who knew about this is, Sam. However, Sam didn’t seem too happy about it, almost as if he knew something but he couldn’t tell me.

A few weeks has went pass, and I still haven’t have the courage to tell Tav what I think. And each week, I watched Jake and Tav getting closer and closer. Even though Jake said he didn’t imprint o Tav, I have a feeling that he might be in love with Tav too...
Tav’s POV
The past weeks, Jake and I have been getting pretty close and I suffered to keep my feelings to myself. I really want to tell Jake how I feel. But, I am afraid, afraid that if I tell Jake, he will leave and I am left with nothing, not even a friend.
My ankle is all better now, I can start to walk properly, but Jake and Seth still fuss over it and won’t let me walk for too long. I am meeting Jake at the beach today; he said he got something important to tell me. I wondered what it is.
Jake’s POV
I planned to tell Tav what I think tonight, if...I can. I tried to tell her a couple of times before, but every time I stare into her wonderful brown eyes, I froze. Then, I would shrug it off and Tav would look at me weirdly.
You have to tell her tonight, Jacob Black.
I sighed.
Bella’s POV
Why wouldn’t Edward agree to turn me into a vampire? I hate the fact that I will continue to grow old while Edward stays the same ...forever.
My thoughts was interrupted by a phone call....from Edward
“Hello?” I said
“Bella, I will come pick you up soon. I had to go hunting with Jasper first, is that alright with you?” came Edward soft, silky voice.
“Yes, sure.” I replied, although I’ve been with Edward for a long time now, his voice still sent shivers down my spine.
“Okay, Goodbye Bella.”
“Bye.”
I don’t want to leave Edward, I don’t want to die. I couldn’t live without Edward and I don’t ever want to away from him.
I am going to make Edward changed his minds and turned me into one.
A tear rolled down my cheek. I hated it whenever I brought this subject up, Edward’s voice turned icy and cold. I hated arguing with him.
I will make him changed his mind. Even if I have to argue with him.
After a while, I heard a car driving into our driveway. Must be Edward.
I took a deep breath and open the door to greet Edward.
“Edward.” I whisper, blinking back the tears.
“Bella?”
I fought to hold my tears.
“Bella? What’s wrong, tell me.” Edward looked at me with a worried look on his beautiful face.
I couldn’t hold my tears anymore. At the sound of Edward’s voice, he reminded me how much I truly loved him, I can’t leave him.
“Edward...” My voice came out unsteadily.
Edward titled his head and wait for me to continue.
“.........Promise me something, Edward.”
“I will do anything for you, love. What is it?” he asked, concerned.
“Anything?” I asked again.
Silence.
Edward, who is starting to understand where I am going, froze and his handsome features are now cold and icy.
“Bella...Anything but that...”
“But...but you said you would do anything for me, Edward. It’s not fair. I am growing older and older each day. I am going to leave you one day. Do you not care? I don’t want to age while you, all of you, Alice, Emmett, Jasper, Rosalie, Esme and Carlise stayed the same throughout the whole thing.” I was nearly yelling when I got to the end.
Edward and I stood there for several minutes without speaking,. Then, Edward started to shake his head.
“NO! Bella, you know that I will never let that happen to you.” His voice was cold and emotionless.
I was angry, angry at myself for being so weak. I hated to see Edward in pain, just to be near me.
I stopped and control my tears. I am going to change Edward’s mind today no matter what.
“Fine.” I said, my voice came out plain and cold, just like his.
I need time to think, a way that would change Edward’s mind.
“Edward, can you leave today? Please?” I asked with iciness in my voice.
Edward nodded and he swiftly left the room.
I had to act fast, once Alice realised that she couldn’t see my future, she will tell Edward. I would only have a short amount of time to get to la Push, over the border line. I jumped into my car and started the engine.
Hurry up!
I speed down the road that led to La Push.
Jacob... I have to get to Jacob’s house.
I know I am probably the most selfish person in the world right now, going past the border means the Cullen’s and the pack might start a war. I am going to hurt everyone, and most importantly, I am going to hurt Jake... again. But, I have to do it, I have to change Edward’s mind.
I am sorry, Jake. I am sorry.
I picked my phone and ring Jake.
Jake’s POV
I arrived at the beach and saw Tav already there.
Calm down, Jacob. Slowly. You can do it. You have to.
My heart was beating so loud that I could hardly hear anything else.
“Hey, Jake”
“...Hi...Tav.” I muttered.
What a great start...
Tav looked at me in the eyes for a moment, then turned away to watch the waves.
COME ON, Jake.
I sat down next to Tav and quickly grabbed her hands.
“Tav...” I started; I took a deep breath and waited for her reactions.
“Jake?’ Tav gave me a questioning look but didn’t pull her hands away. I took that as a good sign.
Tav’s POV
“Tav...”
I felt his hands grabbing onto mine; I turned away from the waves and gave Jake a questioning look. I didn’t pull my hands away from his, because I loved that way his hands grip firmly on to mine.
I waited for him to continue.
“Um...I...”
“What is it, Jake? Tell me.”
He sighed heavily.
“Promise me you won’t run away, screaming.”
“I promise.”
What does Jake wants to tell me, he seems very nervous.
His grip on my hands tightens and he turned his head towards me.
Jake looked at me in the eyes.
“...I ...Tav...I...” He said.
I waited for him to continue.
“I love you, Tav.” He rushed out and his hands are now tightly held onto mine.
I was shocked. Is Jake joking around with me? Does he really means it?
I stared into his eyes; it was filled with love and passion.
“Um...You are not joking, Jake? I mean...Do you really mean what you just said?” I stumbled over the words.
“Tav, I mean every single word I said, I love you, I am in love with you, Tav.” Jake blurred.
“Jacob Black, do you honestly mean every word you are saying right now?” I asked in almost a whisper.
From his eyes, I knew that he was not joking but I also knew that he didn’t say he imprinted on me.
Meaning that one day, I will get my heart broken, just like Leah did. I knew that I would get badly hurt if Jake ever leaves me for his imprint, but right now, I was too happy to think clearly.
“Tavia Andersons, I swear that I mean every word I said.” Jake said to me sincerely.
“Promise me you won’t ever leave me, Jake.”
I knew that he would leave me one day but right now, my dream came true, but I knew that one day I will be woken from this dream. It’s just a matter of time...
Jake’s POV
I wiped Tav’s tear away and gave her a gentle kiss.
“I promise I won’t ever leave you, Tav.”
Tav smiled and kissed me back.
Then, my phone rang.
I answered the call and was surprised to hear... her voice.
“Bella?”
My heart raced at her voice.
Is it really Bella? No, it couldn’t be. Could it?
“Hi, Jake. I am coming to your house now. Talk to you later.’
It is Bella.
Bella...
She is coming to my house? I have to go see her. NOW.
I turned around and said to Tav,
“Sorry, Tav. I got to go. Bella needs me.”
And, with that, I ran as fast as I could to my house. With only one thing on my mind.
Bella...
Tav’s POV
“Bella?”
Shock was sent through me in a millisecond.
No, this couldn’t be. NO!
“Sorry, Tav. I got to go. Bella needs me.”
I just had Jake for a few second and now someone came and spoiled it all. And to make it worst, it’s not an imprint that took Jake away from me. It’s Bella...AGAIN.
The world can’t be so cruel to me. Jake just said he won’t leave me and that he loved me. Now, just a call from Bella sent him miles away from me.
I watched Jake ran back to his house and I was left alone at the beach.
I sat there for hours, trying to control my tears.
STOP IT, TAV! You knew right from the start, that someday, you are going to get hurt. It was your own stupid fault that you felt in love with somebody you shouldn’t. You knew you shouldn’t be in love with Jake. He would hurt you and now it happened.
Suddenly, the sky started to pour with rain.
Great, just like how I am feeling inside. Just great.
I sat there, letting the rain soak me.

“TAV!”

Tavia's POV
“TAV!”

The worried look of Seth.
“TAV! What the hell are you doing in the rain?” He yelled, “ I was so wor-“
He stopped because he noticed my tears-stained face. He didn’t ask or say anymore and pull me into his warm arms.
I sobbed uncontrollably into Seth’s chest and he rocked me in his arms back and forth slowly until he lifted my head up and whispers reassuringly, “Tav, you ready to head back to your house?”
I gave him a small nod. He lifted me up and brought me to his car.
Seth put the seatbelt around me, he put his hand on my forehand and his eyebrows frowned.
“Tav, you are hot.”
I gave him a weird look.
“No, as in temperature. I mean that too.... but I mean temperature...” he blushed as he tried to explain.
“Hot? Comparing to your temperature?”
He nodded nervously.
I gasped.
“Let’s bring you to Sam’s house.”
Seth said as he hopped into the car and sped away.
Seth’s POV
It broke my heart to see Tav alone and crying on the beach. I swear I will kill the person that made her cry. But, now I’ve got more important things to take care of.
Tav’s temperature is rinsing to nearly as high as mine. Is she about to phase soon? I have to get her to Sam’s as fast as I can.
Tav’s POV
I feel the pain as my body burns up. I let out a moan.
“AHH!”
I cried out in pain. I took deep breath and tried to hold still.
“SETH? HELP ME!” I yelled.
I started to shake uncontrollably.
“The pain, MAKE IT STOP!” I screamed before my world went blank.
Seth’s POV
“TAV! TAV?” I shouted.
Damn, Tav is out. I had to get her to Sam’s.
My heart was racing as I watched Tav in pain.
This is even worse than my phasing...I’d rather me being in pain than watches Tav suffers.
I stopped the car outside Sam’s and brought Tav in the house. “SAM! PAUL!” I yelled, hoping Sam is in the house, or Paul or somebody. Sam rushed out the door with Emily by his side. “Seth? What happened?” Emily asked in her motherly tone. Sam looked worried.
“I...She is about...to phase.” I said, not sure what to do.
“Bring her to the back, then get Paul.” Sam commanded.
I lay Tav gently on the grass and left to find Paul.
Hang in there, Tav. I’ll be right back.
Jacob’s POV
“Bella?” I yelled, searching around the house. “Bella?”
“Jake.”
I looked around the corner and saw Bella in the shed.
“Bella!” I said, relieved that she really is here. I ran up to her and pull her into a hug. “Bella! I miss you.”
Bella stiffened for a bit and relaxed.
“I... miss you too, Jake” she muttered softly.
“What are you doing here?” I asked, happy that she came.
“Umm...To... visit you?” she said and smile weakly.
“Your leech- I mean Cullen guy lets you?”
She shrugged. “Yeah”
Bella. I can’t believe she is here again.
Tav’s POV
I felt the fire burning up in my body. Sweats were pouring out and my head was spinning in pain. I moaned loudly as I felt the fire burn again. I opened my eyes and saw Sam’s worried face.
“TAV!” I heard someone yelled. “Paul...” Imumbled weakly. “Tav? How are you feeling?” Paul asked worriedly.
“Like a bonfire” I said.
Seth came sat next to me and held my hand supportingly. I gave him a weak smile.
“Tav.” Sam said. “You might be phasing in the next hour.” Seth squeezed my hand and I looked at him worriedly.
“Don’t worry, you will do fine.”
“Okay...”
Before I know it, the whole pack arrived, that is...without Jacob. I whined.
“You okay, sis?”
“Not really...”
Paul looked at me reassuringly.
Then before I know it, I started to shake uncontrollably.
The last thing I heard was Sam yelling, “Paul, Jared. Bring Tav outside. NOW!”
