ANGEL DUST
| Trigger Warning |
-HADES-
" I'm so happy to be back."
My little brother wraps his arms around me, smiling in joy.
" I'm so happy to have you back too, Sean." I caress his hair.
" Thank you so much for saving me. I would've gone crazy in that dark cell." he shivers, looking at me with wide eyes.
" I'll always protect you, Sean. I'm your brother." I pat his shoulder.
Mother pulls him into another hug followed by Sofia. Everyone is so happy to have him back.
" Where is your wife, brother?" Sean looked back at me.
I stood there awkwardly, rubbing the back of my neck as my family waited for an answer. What the fuck am I supposed to say!?
" She's not feeling quite well right now." I shrug.
" Also, it's better if you don't meet her, brother. She has ruined your life." Sofia growls, rolling her eyes.
" Everyone makes mistakes, Sof. She has repent it all by dropping those fake charges against me and, I really hope we can all start up fresh." Sean says, smiling at me.
He is still my humble little baby brother after all that injustice he had to face. He forgave Sage so easily after all that he had to suffer because of her.
" Mummy, can I take a nap? I'm really tired and I can't wait to sleep on my comfy bed." Sean pouts.
" Of course you can but make sure you join us for dinner. I'll go prepare your favorite food till then." mom says, kissing his forehead.
I sigh, walking away from them as mother begins asking him what all he would like. It feels so good to finally have him back. I also thought he will be uncomfortable near Sage but he just proved me wrong. I think he is right, we should all start things fresh after all.
Slamming the door shut behind me, I climb onto the bed near Sage. Her eyes were wide open, just silently staring at the ceiling.
" Hey baby." I mumble, planting a kiss on her forehead.
I gently wipe the tear that just rolled down her cheek, caressing her hair.
" Sage." I mumble, cupping her face.
" Hades." she sobs, looking up at me.
Finally she said something, for god's sake!
Sage pulls her hand up, showing me a bruise on her wrist.
" Now, how did you get that?" I examine the bruise before looking back at her.
" I-I felt so-something craw-wling under my-my skin." she stutters, as more tears run down her cheeks.
" Make it st-top." she whispers.
" It's alright, love." I whisper, planting a kiss on her forehead.
" Pwwease." She sobs.
That's just the side effect of the drug I'm pumping into your little, fragile body.
" Now, it's time for your meds." I pat her cheek, pulling out a syringe full of yellowish liquid from the nightstand.
" No." She scrambles away from me.
" Come on. Aren't you my good girl?" I coo, caressing her cheek.
She hesitantly forwards her hand, crying silently. Sage closes her eyes as I push in the needle, pumping in the drug.
She whines as I pull the needle out. I watch in amusement as Sage rolls on the bed, clutching her head.
" Feels good?" I ask as she nods.
" Okay then, I'm going to get some work done and then, we'll have dinner with the family." I say.
Sage ignores me, babbling something incoherent to herself. Rolling my eyes, I lock the door of my room and walk in my office.
After six months of intense work, I've finally got my brother the justice he deserves. I'm so happy today but there is a little grief in my heart that Sage can't be in that happiness.
" Law?" I say on the call as soon as I sit in my office.
" Yes, boss?" Lawrence says from the other side of the call.
" I need two kilograms of Angel-Dust now." I say.
" Two Kilograms? But boss you said that Mrs.Romano was dropping the drug." He mumbles as I sigh.
" She can't, Lawrence! We both knew this but yet we gave it a try. It didn't work out. She was crying the entire night and this morning, she didn't even recognise me. The drug is keeping her sane." I groan.
" But we can't drug her for the rest of her life. She might die or go into coma if she consumes Angel-Dust for two more weeks."
I sigh, slamming my hand on the table. The drug can cause death or coma but it's the only thing that is keeping her sane.
" She'll go insane without it, Lawrence. We don't have any other option. Do the work you're assigned and get me the drugs by tonight." I snap, cutting the call.
Drugging Sage seemed the easiest option back then to make her do whatever I want. But I didn't care of the consequences back then. Angel-Dust isn't a joke, it's the most notorious drug out in the market. But I didn't expect it to react so effectively on Sage.
I just wanted it to help me control her emotions. With a little bit of manipulation and Angel-Dust, Sage quickly became my little puppet.
" Hades. You called me?"
I looked up to see Giana standing at the door. Ugh, bitch.
" Yeah, did you get the file I asked for?" I snapped.
" Yes, the receptionist said that you missed a meeting today?" she mumbles, placing a blue file on the table.
Yes, because my wife forgot who the fuck I was and I spent all morning trying to calm her the fuck down before my patience broke and I overdosed her with drugs until she passed out. Damn, that's hard work.
" That's none of your business, Giana. Is all the work done?" I growl, snatching the file.
" Yes, Hades. Can I leave now?" She mumbles.
" No, now shut the fuck up and put that mouth to some work." I growl, as Giana falls on the knees in front of my chair.
^-^
Now, I know many of you are angry at me. Yes Sean is out and there will be more injustice done to Sage but, have trust in me. Also, Sage took the charges off Sean because of the effect of the drug. Since her body was already so weak, it effected her on a huge scale.
