Chapter 10
Dracula
"No!" The woman screamed in horror, trying to protect her son from the vicious men. "Don't take him, take me."
Dracula snapped his head to her direction and threw the chunk of meat he was feasting on with a sly smile, playing at the corners of his lips.
"You want to strike a deal?" He asked, cocking up his brows with a gaze that never faltered.
"Yes, I'll give anything for you to keep my son." She pleaded, a familiar shake in her voice as she darted her eyes from Dracula to the dogman who held her son hostage.
"Are you sure you can give me what I want?" He drawled, using his tongue to flick out the piece of human flesh stuck in between his teeth.
"I'll do anything, just spare my son." She pleaded.
Dracula slowly took a step forward with a glint of malevolence in his obsidian eyes, causing the woman who appeared to be in her late thirties to flinch. He eyed her from head to toe and slowly went up from her toes and lingered his gaze on her bosoms.
"Please, let him go. He's innocent." She shook, tears welling up in her eyes.
Dracula ran his tongue over his bottom lip and could already taste her blood on the tip of his tongue.
He shifted his gaze to Jeremy whose face was the ideal definition of fear. His face was pale like he had been holding his breath.
Dracula strolled to the other side of the sitting room where Jeremy was. He held his cheek a little too hard and bore his eyes into Jeremy's soul.
"Are you innocent?" He questioned Jeremy whose heart had leaped a thousand times. "Are you?"
"No." He breathed heavily when he had seen flames burning in Dracula's eyes.
He released him and returned his attention back to Jeremy's mom.
"I want your soul." He grinned wickedly.
Her eyes widened and urine threatened to stream down her legs. Dracula walked slowly towards her, his grin growing wider with each step he took. His once elongated fangs were now average, stained with a little blood.
"I don't get." Her lips trembled and her knees shook.
"Deal or I rip out his heart?" He sneered, his fingers turning into talons as he clenched his jaw.
"I don't-"
"Rip out his heart!" Dracula ordered the dogman who spun the boy and was about to carry out the instruction before the woman screamed, a tear rolling down her cheek and another followed it's path.
"Stop!" She sobbed. "Deal."
The wicked king of vampires flashed a mischievous grin at her before he strode over to where she was in her silk night dress. He thought she was extremely attractive for a woman her age.
"Upstairs." He ordered and she followed, a lump camping in her throat.
"Please, let my son go." She begged.
"I said," Dracula began through gritted teeth. "Upstairs."
Dracula pushed her up like a ragged doll. "Which one is your room?"
She pointed the first door on the left and they got in. He shoved her on the bed and unbuckled his belt with list burning in his veins.
"Please," she cried, her back against the bed with her legs spread apart.
"Not until I get what we agreed on." His voice was venomous.

Her naked body was covered under the sheets as she wept, feeling like the dirtiest person on the planet. Dracula on the other hand slid on his pants and heaved a sigh of relief, he had quenched his thirst by forcefully having his way with the young boy's mother.
"Didn't you have a great time?" He questioned then gripped her cheeks when she didn't give him a reply and she shivered, cringing at his touch. "Anyways, thanks for the hospitality."
"What about my son?" Her glossy eyes shot a questioning gaze at him.
"Ask the devil that." He snarled.
With that, he marched out of the room and Jeremy's mother hurriedly trailed behind him like a fly following poop on a baby's butt.
"You promised to not take him if I sold my soul to you, which I did and then you forcefully had your way with me and-"
She was cut short by Dracula who spun and clutched her neck, his fingers slowly sinking into the flesh of her neck. She choked, struggling to breathe as he tightened his grip and closed her wind pipe.
"Don't you dare speak to me in that manner," he said through gritted teeth, pressing her against the wall. "Get it?!"
She nodded, her brown eyes on the verge of popping out of her sockets.
"Good." He released her and she slid to the ground, coughing and nursing her neck.
Dracula swivelled, his villain coat swung with sass and slapped Jeremy's mother in the face as he made his way down the stairs.
"Let's leave." He ordered. "Bring the boy with you."
"Yes, master." The dogman did a curt bow and snatched the boy by his collar before pulling him aggressively out of the house.
"Wait, I'll have him from here." Dracula halted the dogman in his tracks and collected the boy who was scared stiff.
"Please, don't take him." She cried, crawling out of the house.
The street was dark, empty and only illuminated by a single street light that flickered.
Dracula stole a glimpse at the young mother before wrapping his arms around the boy and flying into the dead of the night with him.
"Jeremy!" She screamed, watching as the devil's advocate disappeared into the woods with her only son.

The Oberon kingdom
Logan made his way into his mother's room with a straight face so as to avoid unnecessary questions from his mother.
He sighted his mother under a red duvet with a book that appeared to be as old as man held up to her face. There was a bowl filled with fruits beside her legs and a kakapo blinking its eyes owlishly at Logan.
"Hello, mother." He greeted before helping himself to one of the apples in the fruit bowl.
"Where have you been?" She dropped down the book and sat up, her plump lips turned into a straight line.
"Out," dry toned Logan, who was in a staring contest with the kakapo.
"What do you mean by out, Logan?" She kicked the duvet and swung her feet to the floor.
"I was out, mother. Doing alpha things." He explained, running his fingers through his hair.
"Doing alpha things to a human?" She folded her arms and lines that indicated a deep frown formed on her forehead. "Going down to the same world that killed one of us?"
"That wasn't done by humans, but the devil himself." Logan defended, suddenly losing interest in the apple.
"Wait," her almost pointed nose wrinkled and she widened her eyes in disbelief as she sniffed around and traced that smell to her son. "What in the moon goddess name did you do?!"
