Epilogue

The sound of my ringtone woke me up,"Happy birthday,babe."I heard the deep voice.

I didn't bother to check the caller ID because I was too sleepy but I knew who it was,my boyfriend.

"Thanks babe,are you on your way?."I asked.

It was my 25th birthday and yeah,Jace and I are graduates,I went back to Nigeria because I had to sort things out before settling down in the US with him.

"About that....I won't be able to make it,I have a busy schedule this week."He said across the phone.

"You can't cancel on your girlfriend's birthday, really?,this is the best gift ever!."I replied angrily.

"Babe...it's not like that."

"Bye."I ended the call,I sighed and covered myself with my duvet,a tear escaped my eyes.

What if he's with another girl.

I grabbed myself and came online even though,I got messages from college friends,high school friends and family members,I smiled, atleast,they cared.

Everybody has moved on,Lucas got married to an American, Mason and Kim got married and they have three kids,triplet,Olivia and Leo are still single,they hasn't been lucky in the relationship department.

I decided to go back to sleep but something alerted me and it  was my door opening,I grabbed a rod and went downstairs quietly, everywhere was dark,the hand that touched my shoulders made me scream instantly and I fainted.

Water was sprinkled on my face and it made my eyes opened to shining bright room with beautiful decorations.

"We didn't mean to scare you."

"Happy birthday!!!!."They screamed in excitement.

"Thanks but how did you guys get in?."I inquired.

"Someone gave us a spare key and someone also kept something in your food so you would fall asleep for a long time so we can decorate."Kim replied.

"You should really be security conscious."Leo commented.

"Happy birthday,aunty Michelle."Jamal,my little nephew smiled at me with his broken teeth.

"Thanks my love,thanks guys."I faked my happiness.

"I really wish he was here..."I mumbled.

"Wish granted."The deep voice spoke.

I turned around instantly,"Babe!."I hugged him.

"You are here."I grinned like a toddler who just a candy.

"Ofcourse,I can't miss your big day for anything."He kissed my forehead.

"I brought gifts from the states."He stated.

"I wanna see!!!."

"Really?,close your eyes then."

I obeyed,I didn't want to annoy him by peeping.

"Open them."

I opened my eyes to see my 26 year old boyfriend on his knees holding a mini box with beautiful diamond ring in it.

"Michelle Adigheji will you do me the honor of being my bride and mother of my unborn kids,will you like to change your surname from Adigheji to Walker?."He asked with a charming smile.

I stood there in shock as he finished saying those words,"Say yes!!."The guests said.

"Yes!."I agreed.

There was a round of applause and awwns from people.

"Congratulations!!!."It came from different people.

"I'm already the mother of your kids."

"Huh?."

"I'm pregnant."I whispered.

"Wow,I'm so happy,this is the best news ever,I promise to be a good husband and father."He embraced in a hug.

I was finally going to get my happy ending,I turned a player to a loyal boyfriend then finally fiancee then very husband,I couldn't be with anyone else,I love him,I'm so glad that I got lucky,I'm definitely caught in his web.
