Aurora's Crush
“There is no way I’ll accept if your son will propose soon!”
Those were the exact words that echoed from Aurora’s ears as she always heard her father and her father’s friend, Phoenix when the two talked and argued about their children.
And Aurora always knew her father was against her getting friends with Reagan.
He always said to her not to get close to Reagan.
But Aurora being Aurora was easily swayed by the dazzling smile of Reagan and his mesmerizing brown eyes. He’s had some Filipino blood since her mother Sereia was one and his father Phoenix was half Filipino. He looks exactly like his mom as he took her dark and strong features, which suits him so much…but his attitude from his dad.

And every time she sees him at school, despite her father’s warnings, her heart betrays her. She can't help but feel captivated by his aura. There’s something with Reagan that attracts her and now that they’re both in 18, her feelings for him are just getting stronger.
As it was a Sunday, it was part of their family’s tradition to go to the golf club with all of her aunts and uncles who were living across the world but still managed to get to Norway just to spend time with them.
Almost all of her parent’s friends were busy public figures, managing their own businesses across the world and each of them had made remarkable names in the industry. Feared, sought after by people, plus the media always coming after them.
And of course, all her life, what Aurora wants, she gets it with her father’s power and connections. And she has been aware of her status, some call it elite. She’s used to this easy lifestyle.
Although there’s one thing that she’s not allowed to do. To show up in the camera in the tabloids.
She may be a spoiled, rich brat, but her mother has been keeping her from the public eye, saying it's for her own safety. She doesn’t mind as she was able to eat, sleep and have clothing, far more than she could ever want in peace. She has had a golden spoon served to her all her life so why would she complain about it?
Throughout her high school, every Saturday, her mom has been training her in combat training and handling guns and swords.
Whenever she would ask why she needed to as she had numerous bodyguards everywhere whenever she was, her mother would just reply with, “It's just my hobby. I just need to have someone to train with.”
And she would go on in her routine.
And throughout the week, except for the tiring training thing with her mom, what Aurora looked forward to was the day Sunday.
A very peaceful day wherein she would see Reagan. Well, of course, she sees him every day in school, but that boy has been ignoring her lately. They were close when they were still a child, and now that they are teenagers, it’s like it was a whole different version of Reagan. He had grown taller, now 6 feet tall. And he had tattoos all over his arms, with his lips and ears pierced.

This was forbidden in their private school but Reagan being Reagan, he can get away no matter what.
And that is one of the reasons why Aurora’s father forbids her from talking to him.
Aurora sighed, and grimaced in pain, causing her to go back to reality when she felt her mother hitting her with the stick.
“Focus, my child.” Her mother said, “Think as if it’s your survival.”
They were in the training ground that her father gave her mom to train at when she's bored. Then her mother made it a tradition every Saturday for her to go here in the morning until noon to train. Aurora fell to the ground, wanting to give up on today’s routine of her mom training her.
“But mom, I’m not planning on being an agent or something. I mean I totally respect that you were once but it’s not for me.” She had always told it to her mother numerous times, but whenever she spoke up, her mother would always reply with…
“When I was your age, my twin and I were working our ass off just to not get thrown back to the streets. I was fighting assassins with a gun in my-“
“Yeah yeah,” she waved off, knowing all too well her story. Her mother has made sure that she’s aware of her past and is careful in her surroundings, which is very kind of her, but she’s panting like a dog here. “I love Aunt Sigreen and I pray for her soul for passing away years now but please mom…” she gave her puppy eyes, wanting to rest and get away from this training room.
“Your dad really spoiled you.”
Suddenly, their house's door opened and the usual beam of her dad who was standing there looked at her, “How’s my little princess?”
He came to hug her, and Aurora sighed, “Dad! I’m 18, I’m not a little princess anymore.”
“Time flies by so fast. You’re still my baby.” He said, pouting. He then reached and kissed his wife, “You look hot as always, honey.”
He tried to kiss for more but Isleen pushed him away. “We were training and I swear so much babe.”
He pouted again, “So? You’re acting as if I didn’t eat-kissed you when you were covered in sweat/“
“Ew dad, stop flirting with mom in front of me, you guys are disgusting,” Aurora commented jokingly. Then proceeded with, “I’ve been patiently waiting for a sibling to come yet until now, where is it?”
Really, out of all the love she has seen in the world, it’s her parents that she really salutes. Wherever her mom was, her father would always stay glued to her and stare at her with so much love as if it were the first time. And there’s nothing more she could ask than find a man with that kind of loyalty.
“Don’t worry, your sibs are on the way.” Her dad winked, which made her mom glare.
“Stop joking you two.” Isleen followed up.
Aurora then walked to her dad, “Please tell mom to not let me train me again. My body is giving up, dad.”
That made Aiden cock an eyebrow at his wife, “Don’t tell you are still punishing our princess to train here again?”
Her mother nodded, “It's for her own good.”
“Oh, by the way, your aunts Snow and Sereia planned out where we’ll hang out tomorrow. Get ready and make sure to sleep early tonight.” Her dad reminded and that made her ears perk up.

“Will Reagan be there?” She asked with hope in her eyes.
“Really, princess? Stop hanging out with Reagan.”
Her dad didn’t know that Reagan was avoiding her at school now but he doesn't have to know that.
Now sad, Aurora went up to her room, not wanting to go to the race anymore.
She took a shower to cleanse away the sweat from her training with her mom earlier and as she was about to sleep, something was amiss.
There was a small knocking on her window, which was quite weird since she was on the third floor of the house.
Suddenly, she heard someone yelling, “Aurora” from outside and that made her quickly peek at the window, to see him.
