News and Gossips
She took a shower to cleanse away the sweat from her training with her mom earlier and as she was about to sleep, something was amiss.
There was a small knocking on her window, which was quite weird since she was on the third floor of the house.
Suddenly, she heard someone yelling, “Aurora” from outside and that made her quickly peek at the window, to see her.
“Damn you bitch, there’s no way a psychopath like you would sleep this early in the evening!”
The person yelled a few minutes of silence after. Aurora cursed under her breath, knowing there is no sane person who would go to someone's house in the middle of the night, cursing and calling her a bitch other than this insane girl. Aurora instantly opened her window to see her clearly.
“Dasha! Quiet!” She yelled at her cousin, who was screaming like a madwoman. Dasha Makarov Lange, aka her cousin, was her Aunt Sasha and Uncle Nicolo’s daughter.
“Dasha! Quiet!” She yelled at her cousin, who was screaming like a madwoman. Dasha Makarov Lange, aka her cousin, was her Aunt Sasha and Uncle Nicolo’s daughter.
Aurora looked behind, biting her lip from fearing that her parents would get alarmed by the noise. Her mother is surely gonna pull a gun anytime she hears anything weird, and we don’t want anything like that to happen on this fine lovely evening, would we?
Knowing her cousin, as impatient as ever, she quickly whispered and yelled, “I’ll get down there!” Aurora then grabbed a coat and dashed towards the stairs and to the door to meet Dasha.
Now, this is not really that unusual happening. Her cousin always does this. Dasha was born 6 years after her but Dasha acts so much more mature than her and pretends as if she’s her older sister.
Aurora sighed as soon as she reached outside and raised her eyebrows at her cousin. “Tell me, dear cousin, what in the world is the important news that you have to come yelling again in the middle of the night here.”

Dasha was giggling, “Oh you don’t even know! You’ll be surprised! Oh, but I must be quick, I just sneaked out from my maids.”
Aurora laughed at that. Typical Dasha.
“Now, what good news?” She asked impatiently.
“Alright, have you heard the news?” Dasha started with a question.
She shrugged.
“Fine, I’ll tell you myself. Felix is finally going home!”
Aurora blinked, “Wait what? You’re talking about my best friend Felix right?”
“Yes!” She exclaimed. “I miss him so much!”
Aurora couldn't help but smile at that. Really, she misses that bastard. Felix took a vacation to the Philippines and decided to stay there for three years as his dad Uncle Eion, or Aurora’s father, Aiden’s friend, Eion was training his son Felix to be independent and manage their resort there, while his parents Uncle Eion and Aunt Snow stayed here.
So it’s no surprise that Dasha would be so excited to see her crush again.
“Did he tell you when? That bastard didn’t even message me.” Aurora flicked her tongue, somehow feeling angry at her best friend. “I swear I’ll scold that boy when I see him.”
“I just heard the news from my mom earlier that’s why I rushed here.” Was Dasha’s answer, trembling a bit as the wind blew past them.
“Oh, we could surprise him at the airport…anyways, will he reach our Sunday tradition?” She asked, referring to their usual gathering every Sunday.
Dasha shook her head, “I don’t think so. He might be coming in the evening.”
Nodding her head, she breathed out, “Alright then.. is that all?”
Dasha gave her a teasing smile, “What do you mean is that all, cuz? Are you expecting news about your love, Reagan?”
Damn, she’s bringing her up again. Dash being her nosy self Aurora didn't have a choice to spill her secret about her crush to Reagan last time and the moment she knew it, Dasha teases her about it every chance she gets.
“No, I’m just going to sleep now.” Aurora simply replied, diverting the topic.
Dasha seemed to sense it, “Wow, so insensitive cuz. What about me who risked her life to get here?”
Dasha seemed to sense it, “Wow, so insensitive cuz. What about me who risked her life to get here?”
She laughed at that, “You mean you risked yourself getting scolded by your mom?”
Dasha pouted, “I'm serious! Really, why is mom so strict with me when she takes you shopping almost every week!”
She shrugged, “Aunt Sasha is the best. Just be grateful that your mom doesn’t take you to the training room, unlike mine.” She hissed in pain and showed the bruise from her hand, “See this?”
Dasha grimaced at that, “That’s abuse right there.” She joked and they both giggled.
Then Aurora remembered it. “Just a bit of warning cousin, stop thinking about Felix, I promise you’ll get hurt from that bastard.” She warned.
Dasha’s expression changed to something serious and fired back with, “Then quit crushing on Reagan.”
She was too stunned to speak at that, not able to think about any retort.
This bitch of a cousin really knows how to play a game.
She rolled her eyes, now walking to her door, “Fine. Goodnight cousin.”
She rolled her eyes, now walking to her door, “Fine. Goodnight cousin.”
Dasha yelled after her? “Damn you, Aurora.”
Really, their cousin’s bond is like this, swearing at each other. And going back to her room, Aurora saw her parents laying on the sofa in their living room, hands tied with each other. Her heart melted at the sight. Really, nothing could top any romantic movie than her parents' love for each other.
Walking to her room, she prepared for bed by reading a book, with her best friend, Felix, in mind. Although Reagan won’t be there tomorrow, at least her best friend would be returning and that’s enough. She turned off her lights and went to sleep.

Aurora’s Sunday morning was such a dread. Firstly, she was not able to wake up on time from her seven am alarm. Secondly, her body was in so much pain from the training yesterday with her mom.
“Sweetie, you need to get up, we have to visit the orphanage first and go golfing and to the race car game.” Her father said, standing by the door and waking her up. He was fully dressed up now and waiting for her to move.
“Don’t you miss Sister Elly?” He asked, referring to the nun that took care of her for 5 years there.

Of course, she misses Sister Elly…but hearing all the activities for today, she pulled her blanket further and went deeper into her sleep. “I’m not going.” She mumbled in her sleep.
“Oh, she hasn’t prepared yet?” Asked her mom who was busy cooking some of her newly learned pies to give to Aunt Snow, Aunt Sereia, Aunt Sasha, and everyone else so she was extra busy.
They don’t have a maid, which her dad was telling her mom but her mom was so keen and refused, saying she wanted to give all her time to Aurora. But in busy times like this, she wishes she should have agreed to have maids around.
“So…you want us to just leave you here on a fine lovely Sunday, my dear?” Asked her father again.
She just groaned in her sleep as her reply and there was silence soon after.
And then her father’s smooth voice got near and she felt him giving a peck on her forehead, “Then rest up, my dear.”
And the door shut.
In all honesty, she could have gone today, but her plans changed when her phone was continuously getting notifications from Twitter and from Dasha calling her at four in the morning and demanding her to open her Twitter app.
In all honesty, she could have gone today, but her plans changed when her phone was continuously getting notifications from Twitter and from Dasha calling her at four in the morning and demanding her to open her Twitter app.
What she saw there just made her lose motivation to get up in the morning.
It was all about Reagan. He’s number 1 trending on it and the app almost crashed from all the rumors with his new fling. Or more likely, his new girlfriend who was a famous actress.
This was exactly why her father also didn’t want her with Reagan. That man grew up to be a womanizer who had different flings every week.
She cried herself to sleep knowing this news and now, she doesn’t even want to do anything with her life.
Watching him for years for turning out like this is a bit..disappointing. She had created a perfect image of him and although she told it herself that she accepts this bad boy version of him, the idea of Reagan was still close with her as they were once they were still a child...
Aurora slept for a few more hours until two in the afternoon when she felt hunger kicking in. She went downstairs to eat a bit and got back to her bedroom to watch the ceiling blankly.

Their house was all silent and peaceful, not until she heard the door ringing. She wanted to avoid it for a few more minutes but then it got louder so she didn’t have a choice but to
Who could it be? It wouldn’t be a mailman sending letters or Dasha since the bitch was having fun at the golf club, judging from all her posts on the Instagram app.
As soon as she opened the door, what greeted her was an unexpected visitor.
She blinked at the man before him, who had this boyish smile, with a suitcase in his hand as he stared at her. “Missed me?”
Aurora’s frown instantly turned into a grin and her sadness subsided the moment she realized it.
“Felix?”
