Things beyond control
He glanced at the clock and saw it was still in the afternoon. Standing up, he headed to the door while saying, “You can take a rest first. I’ll come and get you later when it’s dinnertime.”
Leaving those words, Reagan walked away and Aurora was left alone with her thoughts, his words echoing in her mind.
She tried to piece everything together. Saved from a plane crash, her belongings saved, but her phone destroyed…and locked up in a yacht in the middle of a damn ocean with her ex-crush and now bastard enemy, Reagan, who swore to make her fall in love with him again.
How cruel.

Aurora stared at the blank wall.
She has been doing this for an hour now, and dinner is fast approaching.
Dinner also means she’ll have to see Reagan’s face again.
She scoffed, not wanting it to happen. All she wants to do now is to go to the Philippines and continue her plan of soul searching there. Yes, he may have saved her from the crash but she couldn’t bear to look him in the eyes.
It’s her pride also taking her, letting her control.
Suddenly, her door knocked and she already guessed who it could be. “Aurora?” Asked Reagan’s voice. He waited outside for a few minutes for her reply but she stayed silent, not bulging and wanting to disobey all his commands.
Reagan seemed to sense what she was planning so he opened the door and looked at her, “Are you ready?”
Reagan seemed to sense what she was planning so he opened the door and looked at her, “Are you ready?”
Noticing that she didn’t even move an inch from the last time he saw her, he clenched his jaw, “Didn’t I tell you to get ready?”
Aurora looked at him and nodded with a cold expression, “You did.”
He raised his eyebrows at her, waiting, “And? What are you doing now?”
She blinked, stating the obvious with a sarcastic tone, “Uhm…sitting by the bed?”
“Then get ready! The food is getting cold, so I held a feast for you, Aurora.”
“Then get ready! The food is getting cold, so I held a feast for you, Aurora.”
A feast? He has the nerve to hold a feast when she’s all locked up here in his stupid yacht?
She shook her head stubbornly, “No. I’ll stay here.”
Reagan closed his arms in front of him, “So you don’t want to eat dinner?”
“Yes, I don't.” She replied sharply, almost snapping at him, “I don’t want anything other than to get out of here.”
His sharp jaw was as sharp as a knife now and his eyes glared at her, “Are you trying to provoke me?”
His sharp jaw was as sharp as a knife now and his eyes glared at her, “Are you trying to provoke me?
“What if I say yes?”
Instantly, Reagan got closer and his hands that were covered in tattoos slowly reached her cheeks until they landed on her chin and her hands tightened on them. “Sweetheart, your spoiled bratty behavior you are playing is not gonna work here as it did to your parents. You’re used to people bending the rules for you and making everything for you, and in this yacht, you’ll not be able to do that.”
He threatened, his voice was now lower and colder for her to bear, “I was being nice to you but if you’re going to treat me like this, then so be it.”
He threatened, his voice was now lower and colder for her to bear, “I was being nice to you but if you’re going to treat me like this, then so be it.”
Releasing his grip, he threw one last glare before leaving, the door loudly noisy after him.
Aurora released a shaky breath, feeling a bit intimidated by that. She admits that Reagan could look scary when he wants to…and she was scared not from his words but from the way he acted…
She stayed in bed and still did not plan anything on going outside. No matter what, she’ll stay here until Reagan gives in and lets her go eventually...
Of course, that would be impossible. She knows that he wouldn’t be easily swayed like that but there’s no harm in trying.
Seconds turned hours and as she stared blankly, her stomach growled in hunger.
Aurora realized she may have gone a bit too prideful…she should have accepted the dinner he offered…now it’s probably midnight…
Slowly, she placed her put on the floor and stood up. She tried to open her suitcase but forgot they were all wet from drowning in the ocean so she sighed, not having any choice but to stay in her red robe that hugged her curves. The red silky robe falls on above her knees and one strong blow of the wind will be enough to
let her womanhood be seen.
Aurora opened the door and peeked outside, furrowing her eyebrows when she couldn’t see any person outside. It was weirdly quiet and empty…
A few lights were on and offered a dim light around. Although she has been here in the past, she could only know some places here. The kitchen and dining room are on the first floor and judging from the room that Reagan put her in, something tells her that she’s now on the second floor. She let herself walk barefoot and she could feel the cold wood along the corridor. She passed by the other rooms and as she reached the familiar Greek statue of a woman, she could see the stairs from here. She descended to the first floor and instantly rushed to the kitchen, careful not to get caught by Reagan.
She’ll just make it quick and return to the room.
As Aurora reached the dining table, she spotted some food prepared at it. On one plate, there was some pasta and steak on the other. There was also wine and water beside her as refreshments. The food was a bit cold now but she didn't care. She looked around, feeling a bit nervous that she was somehow being watched. Aurora shrugged off the feeling of being watched and let herself eat for this moment.
She’ll just continue plotting her plan later when she’s full. Besides, a brain won’t work without food in her stomach.
“Do you want me to cook more?” Asked a voice beside her. She would jump in surprise, but then she already sensed his prescence and was not even surprised anymore. thanks to her mother training her combat skills guess she’ll have something to apply with those skills she learned.
Looking up, she saw the smug look on Reagan’s face. He was wearing a black shirt and pants and his hair was a bit wet, seemingly just out of the shower. His scent managed to get in her nose and she sniffed a bit, wanting to smell more but stopped herself.
“I knew you would come out. I cooked for you.” He said as he dragged the chair beside her and sat.
“I knew you would come out. I cooked for you.” He said as he dragged the chair beside her and sat.
She drank a glass of water, now having her fill with food. Honestly, she finished all the food and nothing even remained. “You? I thought there’s a chef here?” She asked, diverting the topic from her.
“Don’t you hear any sound here other than us?” he asked back, “I let my maids and chef go home. It’s only me and you here, princess..”
That caught her attention, “You..why-“
“Why? Don’t you like it?” He chuckled.
“Didn’t know you could cook.” She commented.
“How was it? The taste?” His question was supposed to be innocent but coming from him nd with the way he said it, it sounded dirty.
She thought about it for a moment, “Not that good.” Lie. It was good. Definitely good.
He licked his lips, “I could let you eat something tastier…”
Aurora’s face distorted in disgust from his words and feeling like she’ll vomit all the food from her stomach that she had just eaten. No, it’s not innocent, what he was meaning was definitely intentionally dirty.
“Oh, guess I’ll have to practice more. Since it's only me and you, you’ll be the judge.” He winked, now stretching his hands up in the air, “Oh, didn’t know it would be fun to be alone with you. I could do things I want and whenever I want.”

He was clearly happy about this situation while Aurora just stiffened, feeling her heart beating out of her chest from what this man was saying.
Then she thought about it, “You said we’re alone, so who’s driving this yacht?”
“Me.” He said, stating as if it's obvious.
She looked at him confused, “You? You know how to drive this?”
“Yes, I learned how during my spare time.” He said, “Now I’m confident enough to handle the whole yacht myself.”
“Then if you’re here, who’s driving now?” She panicked, thinking the whole ship was left with no one since the driver is right here standing in front of her.
Reagan chuckled, “Relax princess, it’s now on autopilot.” He reassured her and Aurora just nodded.
She carefully tried to read his beautiful hazel eyes which seemed to melt against the moonlight.
Reagan glanced at her with a mysterious smile and stood up, motioning for her to follow him, “Come. I want to show you something….”
