Nice treatment
Reagan sighed, “Lola, can you let us inside first? I’ll explain later, we’re both hungry now.”
Lola Nanding giggled, chuckling in embarrassment.
“Oh yes, silly me. Come, you two lovebirds.”
She opened the door of the house for them and Reagan settled her to the chair. Lola Nanding came to the kitchen to offer them some water.
Aurora didn’t hesitate to drink it, feeling so thirsty and hungry to talk.
“I had informed them to cook for the both of you so we’ll just wait for a few minutes.” She said, sitting down in front of them. Reagan settled himself beside her.
“Where’s mom and dad?” He asked, grabbing the pillow and putting it on Aurora’s back to offer support.
Lola Nanding watched his gesture and had a little smirk on but said nothing about it, “They both returned to Norway for some business there.” She replied and sighed contently, “I’m so happy you visited me my dear, and brought Aurora.”
“Oh, What made you visit here by the way?” She asked, now thinking about it.
Reagan looked at her grandmother, “Lola, I’ll be straightforward. I need to get our family doctor.”
The look of horror on Lola Nanding was incomparable, “Why? what did you do to this beautiful girl?”
Reagan bit his lip, “We went snorkeling by the ocean and we didn’t know but…a jellyfish stung her earlier…”
Reagan bit his lip, “We went snorkeling by the ocean and we didn’t know but…a jellyfish stung her earlier…”
Lola Nanding gasped and stood up to lightly hit Reagan’s arm. “You bad kid, why did you not take care of her!”
She then stood by Aurora and asked, “Let me see dear where is it?”
Aurora slowly put up the Reagan pants she was wearing and saw the bruise getting dark blue now. Lola Nanding gasped, apologized to her for what her grandson did, and asked, “What? Do her parents know about this?”
He shook his head, “I’ll tell them soon, but my priority now is to get her checked and treated. I already put some first aid but I’m afraid it will leave a mark on her.”
Reagan stood up, “Then I’ll get going now, Lola. Take care of her for me.”
Lola Nanding nodded, but looked at him worriedly, “But it's late and the road is-“
“I can handle this, Lola.” He said and left to grab something from upstairs. He returned with some keys in his hands and left outside and a sound of a car engine turning on soon followed.
“The food is ready madam.” Said a female servant to Lola Nanding and she looked at her.
“Oh, that boy didn’t have any dinner right?”
She nodded, “Yes.”
She sighed, “He must want to really get you checked first before having dinner. Anyways, I’ll bring the food for you since you can’t get up, I’ll heat up the food for him later.”
Aurora nodded, smiling, “Thank you.”
She quickly ate and Lola Nanding even offered dome coconuts to replenish her energy and stay hydrated. As soon as she was finished, Reagan finally returned with a woman with a white coat behind him.
“This is Dra. Wong. She’s our family doctor and the best one here.” Reagan introduced and the woman smiled at them. Her brown hair and raven eyes…She looks like she’s in her early thirties. Her skin is supple and looks so fresh and radiant. She looks like she has some Chinese genes with how beautiful her eyes are.
Lola Nanding stepped in, “I’m sorry for the sudden disturbance of my grandson, Ms.Wong, I know you are busy with your hospital.”
The beautiful doctor smiled, “It’s alright. I was just about to get out of my shift when Reagan came to me.” She chuckled and looked at Aurora. “Can you let me see dear?”
The beautiful doctor smiled, “It’s alright. I was just about to get out of my shift when Reagan came to me.” She chuckled and looked at Aurora. “Can you let me see dear?”
Aurora raised the pants up to her knees and let Ms. Wong inspect them.
Ms. Wong shook her head and gave a look at Reagan. “You boy, you should have brought her to my hospital as soon as possible. I would be able to get her a suitable treatment.”
“Why? Does this have any treatment?” He asked nervously.
“I could still treat it. But it would take longer now…” she sighed.
Reagan scoffed, “But I don’t want her catching some virus in your hospital Dra. Wong. She’s important.”
“Fine, you lovestruck birds. But if I find her beautiful skin getting any wounds again and you send her to me in a poor state, I will skin you alive.”
Reagan just rolled her eyes. Despited Reagan being the boss, Dra. Wong was able to nag Reagan and Reagan just played along. These two have a nice friendship for sure.
Dra. Wong smiled at her, “You have to be careful next time, my dear. Swimming in those ocean waters is a bit bad because some scattered jellyfish there are so lethal and poisonous. From the looks of this wound and since you’re still alive, the jellyfish that stung you has poison that is not lethal.” She tried to explain carefully.
“Good thing Reagan put some first aid to you so we don't have to worry about the toxins that spread.”
“What do you mean toxins? So she was still poisoned?” Reagan asked.
“Yes, a bit, because of your fault. But her body now is producing white blood cells to fight off the strange entrance of toxins. What I’ll do is to slowly remove the toxins, alright my dear?”
“Yes, a bit, because of your fault. But her body now is producing white blood cells to fight off the strange entrance of toxins. What I’ll do is to slowly remove the toxins, alright my dear?”
Aurora nodded.
She opened her bag and gave her some pills, “Drink this medicine if it still hurts and apply this ointment to avoid the scarring, later on, your skin is so smooth I won't risk letting it destroyed by just some mere jellyfish.”
