The reason
“So, what do you want? Stop stalling and tell me already.” Aurora said menacingly, her voice throwing daggers at them. She doesn't have to show them that she’s scared, or whine like a brat as Vivienne did. She has to show that she’s strong and calm so they won’t just treat her badly. despite the loud beating of her nervous heart.
The leader snickered, still holding her chin. “Oh, what I want is for your mother to suffer. We looked for her everywhere and now that we caught Agent Isleen’s daughter, I wonder what will she reacts to?”
Just then, the lights turned on, blinding Aurora’s eyesight for a moment before seeing an old man with white hair and a large burn scar on half of his face. He pointed at his face, “See this? This is the scar she left on me. I want to get my revenge and return the favor to her daughter.”
Aurora forced her eyes to look at the man clearly. He’s really old now that he’s under the light. The rough patches of his scar were evident and clearly half on his face. Aurora scoffed, “So? What kind of dumb idea it is to kidnap me? Why not my mother?” She taunted, and the man clicked his tongue irritatedly.
Aurora smirked, “Oh, are you scared of what my mom can do? Or scared that you couldn’t even kidnap her herself because of how stupid your skills are? Psh even this whole kidnapping fiasco of yours is so childish that even a five-year-old can do this, and I could escape from this easily.”
Slam!
Aurora instantly felt a cold hand hitting her cheek, and she instantly closed her eyes from the impact. The impact was so strong that she admits that it really hurt her. She opened her eyes to see the and now completely angry.

“Looks like I just kidnapped a bitch here. You’d think you look strong from taunting me like that? I have to say, an apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. You’re really feisty like your mother.” He said, menace all over his voice, “And don’t you realize the situation you’re in? This place is heavily guarded so you can’t escape.”
“We’ll see about that.” Aurora retorted, and the man just snickered creepily, gazing at her one last time before walking away with his men following behind him.
As the door shut, Auror released the breath she was holding and she heard a curse from Vivienne’s direction. Now that there’s light, Aurora could see that their clothes were still from last time, meaning, it was just recently since they got here. Probably within 24 hours so they might have been nearby. The rust smell of blood was everywhere and Aurora just noticed her legs were bleeding.
“Great, way to go and ruin our chance of getting here, Aurora.” She spoke up
“Didn’t you hear him? She’ll kill you before you even escape here.” Aurora said, “Well, I’m alright with that since the world will be a better place without you.”
Vivienne was triggered by this as the chains on her hand moved, and glared at her, “You bitch! Once I get out of here, I will leave you here to rot! And I mean it!”
Aurora flinched as Vivienne’s loud voice echoed and her headache at her shrill tone, “Alright, stop barking bitch, contrive your energy. We never know when they’ll come.”
That made Vivienne quiet and she nodded.
Silence fell between them, with no sound except their labored breathing and the chains on them. Aurora thought hard about ways to escape. Well, if she’ll have to go out, she may not manage it alone so she’ll definitely need Vivieine’s help. And she needs her to cooperate.

“Just a piece of advice, don’t let them see you vulnerable. Act as you got it, that will rattle them and lose focus.” She spoke to Vivienne and Vivienne just nodded, still quiet.
Aurora didn’t know how many hours had passed as Aurora counted each second.
2300…2301…2302…2303…2304…
She mumbled to herself, loking at the door warily and glancing at her surroundings. There was no window here so they have no way of seeing if it was morning or night now… she felt a bit suffocated, trapped, and claustrophobic. She felt a bit dizzy too and weak.
A few minutes more until the door opened a bit to see one of the men leaving two bowls of food with two glasses of water and kicking them in their direction.
Aurora glanced at it and Vivienne’s face scrunched in disgust at the bowl, “Is this supposed to be food? Ew, is this even edible enough?” she then faced the glass of water, “And why is the watercolor green? Is this drinkable?”
Aurora sighed, kind of agreeing with Vivienne now. Really, what are these people thinking? They are really dense.
“Are you going to eat that?” Vivienne asked her and Aurora shook her head, “Who knows what those bastards had put in this.”
Vivienne nodded, “Never in my life did I imagine eating something like this! At least my past kidnappers were kind enough to give me good food. Ugh, really.”

“They are testing us. To starve ourselves or to get sick from eating that.”
The two of them ignored the food and hours passed again and again her stomach was growling so much that it felt like eating her.
“Vivienne..” Aurora called out and looked at her to see her laying on her side, her back facing her.
“Vivienne?” She called out again but she still didn’t reply. She narrowed her eyes, carefully checking if Vivienne was not moving. And breathing.
Aurora’s eyes widened, her heart beating fast a bit. “Vivienne!” She yelled, now moving closer to her right and approaching Vivienne and she could only reach her ankle as the chains were a bit tight and wounded her legs. She doesn't know what to do. Dammit!
She hates Vivienne, but damn this girl better be alive, or else she won’t be able to do her plan!
