The driver laughed, along with the men beside her, and saw there were four of them huddled up to her. The one beside her grinned, pointing a pistol at her as he said, “You must be confused to get in your kidnapper’s car willingly…We came here to kidnap you, Ms. Makarov.”

Before she could react, she felt a handkerchief placed on her nose and she tried to fight back, but the men were strong and she wasn’t able to control her breathing as she caught a whiff of the strong smell in the handkerchief. She looked back to Vivienne who she met her gaze, looking at the scene with wide eyes and realizing it too.

Vivienne tried to loosen his grip and run instantly but one of the men tried to catch her but was stopped by Vivienne’s bodyguards. The man was more powerful as he was quick to fire his pistol at Vivienne’s bodyguards, killing them.

Vivienne’s scared doe eyes who were staring back at her were the last thing Aurora saw as she blacked out.

I should have listened to my mom when she said not to follow strangers.

That was the first thought that came to Aurora’s thoughts as she woke up in a dark room. It was awfully quiet and smelled disgusting. She tried to stand but couldn’t as her feet and hands were tied up in a rope-no, a chain, she could hear the sound of the metal clanking together.

It was awfully dark too and Aurora could hear a pin drop from the silence. Just then, she heard something. Breathing from nearby.

She tried to follow the sound and looked to her right direction and moments later, the metal was crashing and a yelp of pain soon followed.

Through a ray of light from the little flickering lightbulb from far away, Aurora could make out the figure of another person a few feet from her.

Aurora gasped when she saw the face of the person. It was Vivienne!

“So you’re awake.” Aurora croaked out, finding her throat very dry. She cleared her throat.

She gasped, “Aurora? Is that you?” She cried out, and seemingly woke up from the world.

“Hello there, what a small world.” Aurora sarcastically said.

“Where are we?” She heard Vivienne asking and Aurora shrugged, “I don’t know.” She felt her body and was thankful she wasn’t feeling any pain, aside from her hands and legs that were tied up with chains. The metal of the chains was scraping against her skin and it might leave a bruise.

“You were supposed to be the one kidnapped!” Vivienne growled out, “Why would they include me too?”

“I don’t know, ask our kidnappers, it’s my first time getting kidnapped,” Aurora said carelessly.

“You’re the first time? But you act so chill….” Vivienne trailed off, “Hm..welcome to my world. This has been the second time now. Damn being a celebrity sucks.”

The sound of metal clanking and fighting echoed and Aurora sighed, “Stop struggling, it will only give your hand a bruise. We’ll just wait for help.”

Just then, the door opened and a bright light came in. The shadow of the figure of a man appeared and a few other men followed. The light was still off so Aurora tried hard to see their faces.

Who would dare to kidnap her? Now when she's an adult and knows how to kick ass?

I swear, once my father finds this out, they’ll definitely prepare for what’s to come next. Aurora thought to herself, knowing how much her father would get angry.

The man cleared his throat, “Well well, looks like you are awake.” He said to her, grabbing her hair.

The man then turned in Vivienne’s direction and sounded confused, “Who is this? Why did you get some unknown person here? I only want Isleen’s daughter!” He raged and the three men behind him instantly spoke up, “Forgive us, master! She’s a witness and stubborn so we brought her too. She’s not important anyway so after we're finished, we’ll just kill her.”

Hearing this, Vivienne was furious and got triggered, “What the hell? DON’T YOU GUYS KNOW WHO I AM?”

With her screaming, the men shook their heads, “Uhm, no…who are you anyway?”

Vivienne cursed under her breath, feeling ashamed. It seeems her pride as an all-famous celebrity was broken since she was used to being recognized at one glance by people. From young children to teenagers, to even old people. She was everywhere, what sane person would not even know her?

It seems that was what concerned her the most before the issue of getting killed, “And wait, you dare kidnap me just to kill me? How inhumane!”

The three men laughed at her, hearing her screaming.

“She sure is a feisty one.” Commented the man who initiated first that seems to be the leader. “Awee, what’s the matter, will daddy come if you whine more? Boys, dispose of her instantly if she keeps on whining.”

“You’ll pay for this.” Aurora heard Vivienne mumbling before shutting her mouth shut, knowing she was acting whiny and scared.

Aurora then felt the gaze of the four men on her and their leader grabbed her chin and made her look in his eyes despite the darkness. She could even feel his breath tickling her nose and Aurora felt disgusted with his alcoholic smell. Ew.

She could only think who would dare to kidnap her. Her mother’s past enemies. The reason why her mother kept her from the world and traveling when she was young was because of people like this. But now, she felt a bit regretful for blaming and getting angry at her mom. IF only she knew this would happen.

Anyways, what’s done is done. She could only stay quiet and resist whatever requests these disgusting kidnappers of her will ask.

“So, what do you want? Stop stalling and tell me already.” Aurora said menacingly, her voice throwing daggers at them. She doesn't have to show them that she’s scared, or whine like a brat like Vivienne did. She has to show that she’s strong and calm so they won’t just treat her badly. despite the loud beating of her nervous heart.

The leader snickered, still holding her chin. “Oh, what I want is for your mother to suffer. We looked for her everywhere and now that we caught Agent Isleen’s daughter, I wonder what will she reacts to?”

Just then, the lights turned on, blinding Aurora’s eyesight for a moment before seeing an old man with white hair and a large burn scar on half of his face. He pointed at his face, “See this? This is the scar she left on me. I want to get my revenge and return the favor to her daughter.”
