Chapter 59

Ashton

The next day, when I woke up I did not find Zie next to me in the bed, he was no longer in the room and when I searched for him in the whole penthouse I only saw a note attached to the refrigerator, I immediately walked towards the refrigerator and took the letter glued in there.

'Hey baby, if you're reading this then that means I'm not in the penthouse anymore, I have important matters to attend to and you slept very peacefully so I didn't bother to wake you up to say goodbye. Anyway, I have prepared food for you, just heat it if you ever want to eat.

Lastly, I almost forgot that tonight is the anniversary of 'The Backdoor Club' if you still remember this is the club we went to where we saw your twin brother Nick. I was contemplating whether to go or not because I still have too much work to take care of in the office but I think this is a good diversion because it is too stressful here in the office. Be my plus one at the party? Someone will fetch you any minute from now so please get ready. '

I couldn't help but smile as I read the letter and as if on cue, the apartment doorbell suddenly rang. I quickly pocketed Zie's letter and walked towards the living room. When I opened the door, a very sexy woman came up to me. I frowned as I looked at the woman's overall appearance.

"What do you need?" I politely asked and I swallowed my saliva in nervous when her face turned sour.

"Where is Zie?" The woman asked with a smug face.

"H-He's not here, he's in the office," I answered her nervously, why am I getting nervous in front of this woman? I never did anything bad.

"What? I told him I was going to come here. That man is trying my patience, after he got me pregnant he would hide like a coward bastard?" The woman said, her words were like a bomb exploded in front of me. My eyes widened as I looked at the woman, the bulge in her stomach was quite obvious. I couldn't believe what the woman just confessed, Zie got her pregnant. What the fuck.

"Shit! Is my acting too convincing?" Suddenly the woman said and burst out laughing. My forehead furrowed, even more, this woman is crazy.

"What do you mean acting?" I asked annoyed, the woman stopped laughing and her face suddenly became serious.

"Gosh! You don't remember me anymore, Ashton?" She asked with emphasis on saying my name. Astonished, I stared at her face, trying to remember who this woman was in front of me now. My eyes widened as I slowly registered in my brain who this woman was in front of me.

"E-Elena?" My question is uncertain, I can no longer recognize her because she has changed so much. She already has nice eyebrows and her hair is only up to her shoulder which fits her perfectly.

"Yes! Elena, the woman of every man's desire, who else? Gosh! I can't believe you forgot my gorgeous face." She replied and suddenly entered the penthouse even though I wasn't invited her to enter. I just shook my head half laughing and closed the door as I followed Elena into the living room.

"Why are you here?" I asked her in surprise.

She raised an eyebrow at me, "duh, your boyfriend order me to makeover you. If he is not paying me a good amount of money I wouldn't accept his offer because it's so hard to makeover you Ashton, makeup can't even hide the number of pimples on your cheeks and your skin tone is uneven." She said exaggerating every word she said.

"What? During the last makeover, you always complimented me because of my smooth skin and cheeks. Besides, Zie is not my boyfriend." I replied while remembering the last time we met, it was too long ago, I'm not sure but I think it was a month ago when we last met.

"Tsk, go ahead and get ready, we don't have all the time to have a chitchat." She said laughing, I went into the room and quickly took a shower and then got dressed. I'm not hungry yet so I decided not to eat yet, I'll just let Elena feed me later when I'm hungry. I laughed when I came out of the room because of the mischievous plan I had in mind, I had no money so I'll just think of a strategy later if ever I get hungry.

When we left the building, a black car greeted us, Elena immediately opened it and motioned for me to enter, which I immediately obeyed.

"The boutique is still a little far from where we are going so you can go back to sleep if you want to or do whatever you want to do as long as I can get my beauty rest," Elena said and immediately turned her back on me. I just nod at her and watched the views outside.

A few minutes later I was a little drowsy so I closed my eyes first until I did not realize that I had fallen asleep again.

"She's still sleeping, sir Gabriel." I heard Elena say when I woke up. I was confused as to who is Elena is talking, because of curiosity I acted that I was still asleep.

"It's okay, you can leave now, I'll take care of Ashton." I heard a baritone voice replied. I could not help but tremble at what I heard. What the fuck is happening? Who is Elena talking to? Who is Gabriel?

"All right sir," Elena replied and the last thing I heard was her footsteps getting out of the car. I was freaking nervous I did not move, I still acted asleep until I heard the door close.

"You're so fine, Ashton. Finally, I can have you now, I can taste your body too, I can fuck you anytime and anywhere I want." A man said which I assume is Gabriel, that's what Elena called the man earlier. My body trembled when I felt his hand caress my cheek and trailed over my neck.

"You're such a bad actor, Ashton. I know you're already awake." Gabriel suddenly whispered in my ear, I felt a shiver sent to my spine when I felt the hot breath he emitted when he whispered into my ear.

My heart was beating so fast as I slowly opened my eyes.

"W-Who are y–,"

I did not finish the question when I suddenly remember in my mind who the man in front of me was.

I can't be wrong.

He was the man who harassed me at the club where Zie, Rex, and Giza had their session. He gave me a wide smile that shook my body.

"What are you doing here? Where is Elena? You're not supposed to be here. Please stop the car, I'll get off." I asked Gabriel and looked at the driver.

"Don't stop the car, Ralph," Gabriel commanded the driver and smiled at me. My eyes widened when I realized this is his car, the driver was working with him and, and Elena was his staff? How did this happen? I thought Elena was working with Zie?

"What are you doing?" I asked in surprise when Gabriel approached me.

"Just relax, I won't do anything that you don't like." He smiled in response and suddenly he sits on my lap, I quickly pushed his body but he immediately grabbed my hand and locked it in his palms. I could not move, his body was so closed to me and he was holding my hand tightly.

When he tried to kiss me on the lips I immediately turned my face in another direction so his lips landed on my cheek.

"Please stop, you're h-harassing me," I said trembling and tried to struggle but Gabriel was very strong.

"What? I'm not harassing you, you're mine now and I'll do whatever I want with my property. You don't have a say, Ashton. You're just my pet." Gabriel smiled and kissed me again, at this point, I could not escape from his lips. His kisses were violent, there were times when he bit my lower lip until it bruised and I could feel my blood, but surprisingly I did not feel any pain, I did not feel the slightest bit of pain.

Moments later Gabriel suddenly pushed me horizontally into the chair and quickly grabbed my pants and tried to lower them. My eyes widened as I realized what he would do next.

"What are you doing? No! Don't take off my pants, don't touch me." I struggled from his hold but he is strong and I lost my strength when Gabriel started to punch me on my stomach.

"No! Stop! What the fuck are you doing?" I shouted and move so that he'll have a hard time taking off my pants.

"Ashton."

"Fuck! Stop." I shouted again, I kicked Gabriel's body and move like a mad man again.

"Fuck it hurts! Ashton!" Suddenly I felt someone slap me, this time I felt the pain.

"Ashton."

I immediately opened my eyes, panting as I looked around the car. I frowned when I could not see Gabriel inside and the one next to me was Elena.

"What happened?" I asked in confusion.

"What happened? You just kicked me in the leg. Oh, good thing and your kick me on the leg and not my stomach, if I'll get a miscarriage I would shoot you to death. Gosh! Was your dream so bad that you're acting like a crazy person?" With that said, I felt ashamed of what she said.

Dream? So what happened earlier is not true? All of that is just a dream, but everything seems real. Gabriel's touched seems real to me.

I looked out the window nervously, where are we?

"Are we close, Ralph?" Elena asked the driver and my eyes widen in shock upon hearing what Elena called the driver.

Ralph? Did I hear right?

"No, no, no. Pullover." I strongly told to the driver. Elena looked at me in surprise.

"What?" She asked confused.

"Just fucking stop the car. I'm going to Zie, I want to see Zie." I said hysterically. I don't want to suspect her or the driver but maybe my dream is a sign of what will happen to me, I want to get out of the car and go to Zie. I know Zie will not leave me alone. I know Zie will always save me if ever something bad will happen.

"Hey, calm down." Elena calmed me down but I just shook my head firmly.

"No, I want to see Zie. Pull the car over." I cried. Elena seemed to feel sorry for me, she sighed and looked at the driver.

"Pull over, let's go to Mendez Publishing, Ralph," Elena ordered,  I heaved a sigh of relief when the car turned back.

"I'll just get your suit on the boutique, I still have a copy of your sizes so everything's fine," Elena said softly, I just nodded in response and closed my eyes when I felt my head hurt.

A few minutes later the car stopped at the building owned by Zie. I quickly got out of the car after saying thank you to Elena and the driver.

The guard almost stopped me from entering the building. Fortunately, I got an alibi by saying that I'm going to get a copy of the book I had written. I was about to knock on the door in Zie's office when it opened and Zie's startling appearance is the first thing I notice. His forehead furrowed.

"What are you doing here, baby? You're supposed to be with Elena right now." He asked in surprise and walked towards me.

He was not completely close to me when I ran and immediately hugged him.

"I-I wish I was always by your side, I feel safer every time I'm with you," I said and pressed my face to his muscular chest.

He laughed softly and responded to my hug.

"I get you, baby. Anyway, I have a meeting with my head editor right now, if it's okay just wait for me inside the office, it'll be quick." Zie said and kissed me on the forehead.

I nodded and slowly slipped out of the embrace on his waist, Zie accompanied me inside his office before saying goodbye and walked out of his office.

I let out a sigh as I sat on the soft sofa. Somehow I was relieved to see Zie and I was here inside his office. I know nothing bad will happen to me here.
