I nod briefly to Kiren, my gait doctor, and put my shirt back on.

"I said so, but Shadow and Mirella didn't want to believe me. Give me a certificate so they don't bother me anymore."

He looks at me confused, then nods slightly and hands me a certificate.

I can finally go back to the room. I want my peace today... maybe I'll enjoy the peace with Mirella.

MIRELLA :

Smiling, I brush my teeth and move my hips to the music that's playing. Today is a good day. In any case, I'm in a good mood and nobody can take that away from me today.

"Sweet." I suddenly hear someone say behind me and wince. My gaze immediately wanders behind me to the door. Shadow stands smiling leaning against the wall and looks down.

When I walk back into the room a few minutes later, I see Shadow come out and run towards me.

"Boss." He says briefly and then walks past me. I furrow my brows in confusion and suddenly notice what he smells like.

This is Mirella's perfume. Why does he smell like it?

I shake my head slightly and then enter Mirella's and my room. There is no sign of her far and wide, but when I step inside I hear the shower running.

Did he shower here with her? What the... ? I thought they hated each other?

I should talk to her about it. If she's up to something with Shadow... then she shouldn't be sleeping next to me in bed.

Just as I've finished thinking the thought, my chest starts to hurt. I rub it lightly and stare at the bathroom door.

I don't want her dating Shadow. He... just isn't good for her.

I gently place my hands on her waist and notice her startle slightly. She looks over her shoulder uncertainly, but when she sees it's me, she calms down and leans into me.

"What was Shadow doing here?" I ask softly. I'm actually a bit irritated. If she's going to sleep with him, then not here!

“He just asked me if I wanted to train with him. He thinks it would be better if I practice with him and not with you because you are so busy and he's right. i am a burden You should focus on the important things and not on me.

And what if..... if it's the most important thing right now ?

Swallowing, I look at her and rest my chin on her shoulder.

"Okay!" I answer briefly and kiss her neck gently.

Why would Shadow say something like that? He knows that I have to take care of her, otherwise she will die faster than she would like.

"Are you angry about something?" she asks after a few minutes of silence.

Yes... I don't want her to spend time with Shadow, but I can't stop her either. That would come across as weird and I don't want that.
