Chapter 26 ESCAPE

The police surrounded Prince's house and ordered for the gate to be opened. Prince was scared and he stopped fucking Kate. He threatened her to cooperate or else she would regret it later in the future. He released her and told her to go to the gate and act like everything was normal.

"If you try to play smart, my boys are everywhere watching you. There's more to me you don't know." Prince warned.

Then he dressed up and darted to where he kept Richard who was glad that the police came to his rescue at the right time. He told Richard to also cooperate for his own good or else he would face the consequences. He made him understand that he could use his status to bypass the law.

Richard was released as he went to the kitchen to cook something to avoid any suspicion. So when the police got inside, Prince's boys had already left the house from the backdoor and Richard noticed it was an escape route.

"Good morning officers, how may I help you?" Prince asked as they approached the front door.

"Good morning Prince, we got information from a source that you kidnapped one of your staff named Richard." The Police officer said.

"Ah, ah, seriously, but that's Richard coming to give you a glass of wine. Does he look like someone being kidnapped? You can ask him yourself. Such an accusation should be from one of my haters who wants to tarnish my image at all costs. May I know the person who called you?"

"Hmm, I'm sorry you can't know the person yet, it's confidential. As a matter of fact, let me call the person again to confirm. I'll put it on loudspeaker." The Police officer said.

As the number was ringing, Richard gave the Police officer a glass of wine and went back inside to device ways for escape. The number rang and rang but Mary didn't pick it. So the Police officer apologized and left the scene.

When Prince's boys left the backdoor being locked, Richard got a ladder stylishly while Prince was still discussing with the Police officer. Then he climbed the ladder and jumped over the high fence. He almost broke his knee when he landed so he looked right and left and was sure the coast was clear, then he boarded a bus and ran away.

Prince then called on Richard but there was no response. He also called on Kate but there wasn't any response either. Prince quickly checked back into the house and he couldn't find him. He also checked the gate's office but Kate was nowhere to be found. How she escaped was a mystery to him.

He was scared so he called his boys to look for them as quickly as possible because they wouldn't have gone far. His boys sprang into action and searched for every nook and cranny of the neighborhood but they couldn't locate them.

Richard took along with him a flash drive which he saved all the recordings of the horrible incidents he and Kate had in the house. He left his luggages and his laptop in the house and he informed Kate via phone call about his escape when he finally went back to his house.

Kate had gone back to her house too so they decided to meet each other some day. When Richard reached Riana's foster parents house, he narrated his experience and they knew they were getting closer to putting Prince behind bars.

So Richard decided to pay Riana and Mary a visit in the university so he could give them the evidence that would end Prince. However, whenever Kate remembered the sex Prince gave her, she would get horny and wish she was given another opportunity.

She was also needing a male figure in her life that would fill up her sex life but she found none. So she tried checking out websites that promote hookups. She met a few guys and got laid with them. She decided to get paid per sex she had with her clients.

And that was how she deleted Richard's contact from her phone and refused to speak to him whenever she heard his voice. She stopped taking him seriously because he was the one that first deflowered her so she needed his dick more often but couldn't get it. It was frustrating to her.

She was really enjoying her life until one day, one of her clients was Prince's boys. They recognized her, informed their boss about it and strangled her when she was drunk. They made it seem like a suicide as she was hung to the ceiling fan. They left the scene without leaving any clue to trace their whereabouts.

When Richard heard about Kate's death, he cried like a heartbroken lover. He knew Prince was behind it and he vowed to make him pay for it since he had evidence against him.

He couldn't eat. Her death spoiled his week as he felt paralysed emotionally. He wanted to take his evidence to the police, but he wanted he and Kate to go there together when they finally meet again. He couldn't even attend her funeral so Prince's boys won't spot him and kill him.

Now he was going to give the evidence to the police himself but he had to be very careful of not giving the evidence to a corrupt police officer who might inform Prince about it and bury the case for his selfish gain.

Prince was glad that one of his foes was dead. However, when the police heard about it, their suspicion about him increased as they called him to the station for interrogation.

"Mr. Prince, why is it that after I visited you due to a phone call about a possible crime in your household, your home staff absconded from your house on that same day? And why will there always be a death case of at least one of your home staff who had worked with you? You better cooperate with us if or else if I get to the root of this matter and discover you're guilty, I'll make sure you rot in jail." Officer Joe threatened.

Prince was scared but he told the police officer that he should go ahead and do his research properly and stop spreading rumors like an average man.

Officer Joe was pissed off as he said, "You wanna play smart with me right? I'll ensure I get to the root of this case and like I said, you won't like the other side of me."

"Amateur. I have important business to attend to. Besides, if you overstep your boundary, You'll lose your job and the most precious things in your life." Prince threatened.

"I love your guts. You're the type of criminal that gets my attention. We shall be stronger." Officer Joe said.

"You're making the biggest mistake in your life. Even your DPO can't mess with me. I understand you're those young police who want to be promoted for being diligent with their job, but it will only end in shame for you." Prince jeered.

"Don't worry Mr. Prince I promise to personally bring out the beast in you and expose all your evil deeds. You can now take your leave." Officer Joe said.

"Joker. You're still a child." Prince ridiculed him and left the station.
