Joshua and his Sheila were very happy because they had put Riana out of the way. Sheila was the happiest because her boyfriend, Joshua, got more intimate with her than he did in the past. During Riana's absence, some lecturers would ask of her whereabouts and whenever they asked Mary, she would say she (Riana) was ill.

Many students greeted Riana before the lecture started and they all complained why she wasn't picking their calls during her absence in school. However, she gave them a reasonable excuse as they showed how much her absence was felt.

When the lecture started, every lecturer that saw her welcomed her back and it was really disturbing for Joshua and Sheila who were burning up with disgust. So ever since then, Mary stopped going to parties as she focused more on her studies. Riana also assisted her classmates who were not good in one subject or the other and she got paid.

Joshua wanted to greet Riana too but he knew she was aware of his hypocrisy. Besides, his girlfriend was the reason Riana was out of school in the first place so it was better for him to keep his kind gestures to himself.

So Sheila talked to many handsome and rich guys to woo Mary but it was all futile. Even when Richard visited them to inform them about his evidence against Prince and Kate's death later on, Sheila thought she could use him against them, but he rebuked her instantly.

So Sheila started sending cult guys to threaten Riana to stop aspiring to be the best student and it really scared the shit out of her, but Mary comforted her.

"Don't be scared girl, they can't hurt you. If Shelia wants to take this extremely, I'll show her the stuff I'm made of. Does she think she's the only one who knows cultists?" Mary said.

"No, leave her alone. Violence doesn't solve everything. I have a plan." Riana replied. "Okay, please tell me about it." Mary became curious.

"I'll talk to the cultists whenever they come across me again." Riana said and sighed afterwards.

"What did I just hear you say? Do you know who cultists are? Those dudes don't negotiate. They are like hired killers. They do as instructed. It's better we let the school authority aware of this before they think of raping you and tarnish your image in the whole university. I know these guys. You better heed to my advice." Mary said.

Riana was shocked when she heard that. "So you mean these guys are capable of doing that to me." Riana asked.

"Yeah, even worse. You ain't a wayward girl so you can't know them deeply. So despite how much you know, you still don't know how dangerous these guys can be. Let's report to the school authority tomorrow." Mary advised her again.

"Okay, then. Thanks dear. Sleep tight." Riana said. "Same dear." Mary replied.

Mary switched off the bedroom light and they slept off. Then after some minutes around 9 pm, they heard a knock at the door. They quickly opened their eyes and the voice screaming at the door to be opened was Richard.

"Open this door please. I need your help. They are pursuing me." Richard screamed at the ungodly hour.

Then Riana quickly went to open the door even when Mary held her hand. "Be careful," said Mary.

"Don't worry, we need to save Richard now." Riana replied in a trembling tone.

Then as the door was opened, Richard rushed inside. Riana quickly locked the door.

That night Mary was sleeping at Riana's place so they finally asked him what was chasing him. Besides, why would they chase him from his country to England where they study. But he looked at them after some time, then he laughed, pointing his finger at both of them and said it was a prank.

They were highly displeased at such childish behaviour from him.

"Have you guys forgotten today is April 1st? So it's April fool baby. You don't know how fun it was for me to fly down here just to prank you guys. You need to see the scare on your faces. I got you ladies so good." Richard said and kept laughing hysterically.
